Abstract

The longitudinally adjustable roof tile has a uniform profile on its upper side. It possesses a side-, top-, and foot-groove part and forms, when laid, a vertical lateral joint. Despite the longitudinal displaceability, it is intended to improve the rain protection. For this purpose, the foot-groove part (4) is assigned at least one U-rib (446) which adjoins a foot-groove rib (44). The U-legs end at the latter, the connecting web (4462) of the U-rib is constructed parallel to the foot-groove rib, and the height of the U-rib is less than the height of the foot-groove rib by the dimension a of an inner head-groove rib. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a longitudinally movable interlocking tile according to the preamble of claim 1.

A interlocking tile of the type mentioned is known from DE-U-8914778. It has proven itself in practice. Its overlap on the head side when pulled is extremely pleasingly low. As always with longitudinally displaceable bricks, however, rain safety is a problem. The longitudinal displaceability of the bricks prevents an expensive but more secure interlocking, as is the case with classic, non-longitudinally displaceable interlocking bricks.

The invention has for its object to improve the longitudinally movable interlocking tile of the type mentioned in terms of rain safety and still maintain a large degree of longitudinal movement.

The object is achieved according to the invention by the features in the characterizing part of claim 1.

The inner head fold rib is known per se and has proven itself. In order to maintain it, the U-rib is reduced by the dimension a compared to the instep rib. This has the advantage of being able to move the U-rib over the inner top rabbet rib.

The invention is simple in construction and provides an improvement in the seal, in particular in the area of the brick base and the sensitive four-brick corner. The U-rib, which is closed on all sides, serves to increase the flow resistance in the overlapping area of the bricks.

As is known, it is determined by the gap width, gap length and surface roughness. After the shape and thus the covering width varies with ceramic products and the surface roughness is fixed, the only option left is to change the gap length.

The U-rib according to the invention creates an enlarged friction surface in the area of the brick base. Together with the foot rib arranged on the foot side, it forms a closed field in which any water that may have blown in due to negative pressure is collected and drained onto the underlying tile. From there it can flow over the brick surface.

In terms of production technology, the U-rib does not pose any problems, regardless of whether the interlocking tile according to the invention is formed with a raised central part or without one. This means that it can be laid either in a row or in a row and in an association if it is designed accordingly. If the brick has a raised midfield, it is advantageous if a U-rib is arranged on each side of the elevations. If there is no elevated midfield, it is possible to provide a wide U-rib that extends below the midfield in the foot area. In order to further improve the seal, in particular to reduce the gap width, it is provided that the outer flanks of the U-legs rest on the inner flank of the cover fold part and an inner side fold rib and, if present, on the flanks of an elevated central field part.

In order to increase the flow resistance behind the U-rib, it is advantageous if the U-rib is joined by flat plateaus, the length of which is at least as large as the desired displacement length of the brick. The flat plateaus glide over a head edge strip while moving the brick, minimizing any remaining gap (s). The remaining gap (s) is retained over the entire displacement length.

A solution in which the two plateaus form a plane is also advantageous.

In order to further increase the flow resistance, it is proposed in another development of the invention to arrange transverse ribs between two U-ribs which are laterally delimited by the outer flanks of the U-ribs, these flanks being pulled down to form a trough and the two Cross ribs have a common height and lie on the midfield plateau of the underlying tile when covering. This causes the water that has been blown in to rain and is led outside via the underlying brick.

In the case of bricks that can be moved lengthways, the four-brick corner specifies a minimum cover length. In order to improve the sealing in the head area by utilizing this minimal cover length also in the area of the critical points of the side fold, the middle field part and the cover fold part, it is provided in a favorable embodiment of the invention that there are further ribs following the ribs already mentioned, the height of which is such that they slide over the head edge strip when the brick is moved. These further ribs also serve to form a negative pressure on the underside of the brick, to increase the flow resistance in order to bring blown-in rainwater to rain.

Utilizing the maximum cover length in the four-tile corner, the sealing in the head area should also be improved in the area of the critical points of the side folds, the midfield part and the cover fold part. For this purpose, extensions are arranged on an inner side rebate rib and possibly in the area of a raised central field part, which extend from the top edge rib towards the central tile field and have the same height as the top edge rib.

In the same sense it is favorable if the top deck corner comprises a plateau, the height of which corresponds to that of the top edge strip and the length of which corresponds to that of the extension.

In order to further improve the sealing effect in the four-tile corner, it is also advantageous if an L-shaped rib is present in the area of the top rabbet rib for the external delimitation of the depression present there a lowered plateau is upstream.

Er ist sowohl in Reihe als auch - wegen des erhöhten Mittelfeldes - im Verband zu verlegen.1 to 7 show the first embodiment of the interlocking tile 1 according to the invention. It has a top rebate part 2, a top rebate part 3, a foot rebate part 4, a side rebate part 5, and an elevated central field 6. It is to be laid both in a row and - because of the increased midfield - in the association.

The head fold 2 comprises a head edge strip 211, which forms the head-side end of the brick and runs at the same height and width from the head-side fold corner 28 to the head-cover fold corner 29. There the top edge rib opens into a plateau 2113, the height of which corresponds to that of the top edge strip. The plateau wraps around a corner cutout 295 in the top deck corner and ends on the brick outside of the top deck part 3.

The extent of the plateau 2113 in the direction of displacement (longitudinal direction of the brick) corresponds to that of extensions 2112, each of which extends from the top edge rib 211 in the direction of the central tile field. In the present case, there are three such extensions, namely one on the inner side rebate rib 517 and one each in the region of side flanks 613 and 615 of the raised midfield part 6. The extensions are the same height as the top edge rib 211.

Upstream of the top edge rib 211 are two inner top fold ribs 217, which are located in the left center field recess 614 and in the right 616, respectively. They are each equipped with a passage in the form of an overflow 2171 to allow drainage of the space located between the inner head rebate rib and the head edge strip.

Fig. 5 shows that the inner top rabbet rib 217 has the height a. The height h of a U-rib 446 to be explained later is determined in such a way that it slides over the inner top rabbet rib 217 when displaced longitudinally.

As further shown in Fig. 1, the top edge rib 211 is continued lowered in the top side corner 28 by an L-rib 285, which not only represents the outer corner boundary of the interlocking tile, but also establishes the connection between the top and side folds. It includes a lowered plateau 286 that is vertically below the L-rib 285 but significantly above a depression 5141 that is the common end of an outer side groove 514 and a middle side groove 516.

Die Seitenverfalzung gliedert sich wie folgt:The side folds are structured as follows:

The outer boundary of the interlocking tile is formed by an outer side rebate rib 513, followed by the already mentioned outer side rebate groove 514 towards the center of the brick. Between this groove and the middle side rebate groove 516, which is also addressed, there is the middle side rebate rib 515 which has also already been mentioned. The side rebate grooves and ribs extend from the head rebate 2 to the foot rebate 4 with a constant profile. In the area of the foot-side fold corner 48, the side-fold grooves open into a laterally inclined collecting groove, which is arranged upstream of a triangular water switch 489. For this purpose, the outer and middle gusset ribs end at an angle.

The water switch 489 is arranged upstream of a foot-side seam corner section, the boundary of which forms the inner side-seam rib 517 towards the central brick field. It is pulled through to the foot end of the brick.

Eine innere Deckfalzflanke 313 schafft die Verbindung zur benachbarten rechten Mittelfeldmulde 616.The cover fold part 3 comprises a cover fold center part 312 on the top side of the brick, which extends from the top fold 2 to the base fold 4 with a constant profile. An inner top fold flank 313 creates the connection to the adjacent right central field recess 616.

So far the description of the top of the brick, now to the bottom and Fig. 2, which contains the bottom view.

The foot rebate 4 has a foot rib 44 which forms the foot end of the brick and which is divided into the top rebate section 441, the central field section 443 and the side rebate section 445. The latter forms an L-rib, which frames the corner cut-out in the foot side corner 48. The larger L-leg extends over the entire width of the side fold part 5, the smaller leg is directed in the direction of displacement and creates the connection to an elevated right pin 444, which is located below the left midfield trough 614. In accordance with this arrangement, there is a left pin 442, which is arranged analogously under the right center field recess 616. The pins 444 and 442 thus form the connection between the aforementioned sections of the foot rib 44.

Die Fig. 5 zeigt, daß die Zapfen jeweils eine Höhe H aufweisen und dazu dienen den überdeckenden Falzziegel auf dem unterdeckenden abzudichten.5 shows that the pegs each have a height H and serve to seal the overlapping interlocking tile on the underlay.

The U-rib 446, which is closed on all sides, is assigned to the left and right peg. Its U-leg 4461 ends at the foot rib 44, the connecting web 4462 of the U rib running parallel to the foot rib 44. The height h of the U-rib is at least by the dimension a of the top fold rib 217 less than the height H of the foot fold rib. This is shown in FIG. 5. The U-ribs 446 together with the sections 442 and 444 of the foot rebate rib form a trough 447 which is closed on all sides.

As shown in FIG. 2, in the area of the rear side of the raised central brick field, the intermediate field rib 443 and the transverse ribs 4431, 4432 and 4433 are arranged with gaps one behind the other. As FIG. 4 shows, the ribs 443 and 4431 have the same height. they also form a covering on the underlying tile when covering.

The other transverse ribs 4432 and 4433 are also of the same height, but are determined in height so that they can slide over the top edge rib 211 when covered. This means that their height is at least less than the height of the head edge rib than is the case for the ribs 443 and 4431.

The transverse ribs 4432 and 4433 are thus located in one plane with plateaus 448 arranged laterally therefrom, each of which extends under the midfield depressions 614 and 616 on the foot side.

The length of the plateaus in the longitudinal direction of the brick is at least as long as the desired sliding length of the brick. Fig. 5 shows that in the covering a residual gap s remains between the plateaus 448 on the one hand and the top edge rib 211. It should be available over the entire displacement length and be as small as possible.

The spaces already mentioned between the ribs 443, 4431, 4432 and 4433 are formed by depressions 4434. For the function of the invention it is important that the transverse ribs 443 and 4431 are arranged between the U-ribs 446. These transverse ribs are laterally delimited by the outer flanks 4461 of the U-ribs. The flanks contribute to the creation of the depression 4434 in this area by pulling downwards. It is also important that the midfield foot rib 443 and the cross rib 4431 have the same height and seal when covering on the midfield plateau 611 of the underlying tile.

Support ribs 622 are arranged below the middle field troughs 614 and 616, which extend from stacking knobs on the head side with the same profile up to the said plateaus 448.

The underside of the cover fold part 3 comprises an outer cover fold rib 323, an outer cover fold groove 324, a middle cover fold rib 325 and a middle cover fold groove 326. They too are essentially guided with a constant profile from the top cover fold corner 29 to the foot cover fold corner 49. Analogous to the top closure, they end at an angle and leave a space between their ends and the section 441 of the foot rebate rib.

On the head side, they are connected to one another via a web 3232. The height of the web exceeds that of the two cover seam ribs 323, 325. When covering, the web 3232 lies in the depression 5142 provided for this purpose.

In the area of the corner cutout 295 of the top deck corner 29 there is a depression 296 which covers the L-rib 285 in the plateau of the top side corner 28 of the top of the brick. This lowering 296 is necessary in order to be able to attach the L-rib 285 to the top of the brick without impairing the stackability of the brick.

Die Fig. 3 zeigt schematisch die Fußüberdeckung zweier in Reihe verlegter Ziegel I und II.Fig. 3 shows schematically the foot coverage of two bricks I and II laid in series.

The U-ribs 446 together with the troughs 447 are indicated by dashed lines. The outer legs 4461 of the left U-ribs 446 lie against the inner flank 5171 of the inner side fold rib 517, the outer flank lies against the flank 613 of the middle field.

Die rechte Flanke der rechten U-Rippe 446 legt sich an die innere Flanke des Plateaus 2113 des Deckfalzteiles an.The left flank 5171 of the left U-rib 446 likewise lies against the inner flank of the extension 2112 on the inner side fold rib 517. The right flank of the U-shaped rib rests on the left flank of the extension 2112 of the midfield. The right flank of the right U-rib 446 lies against the inner flank of the plateau 2113 of the cover fold part.

The lateral flanks of the two U-ribs 446 thus follow on the one hand the profile of the underlying tile, and on the other hand the associated flanks of the extensions 2112 and the plateau 2113. This tight fit of the U-ribs 446 on the associated elements increase the flow resistance in the resulting gaps in the top rebate area or when the tile is covered, and thus increase the rain resistance.

The cross section of the covering brick is shown in such a way that unnecessary material accumulations in the region of the lateral flanks 613 and 615 of the central field 6 are avoided. The function is the same as described above.

Die Fig. 4 zeigt einen Längsschnitt durch die Überdeckung zweier einander überdeckenden Ziegel I und II im Bereich des erhöhten Mittelfeldes 6.4 shows a longitudinal section through the overlap of two overlapping bricks I and II in the area of the raised middle field 6.

The middle part 443 of the outer foot rib 44 and the transverse rib 4431 seal against the middle field plateau 611 while minimizing a residual gap. A first depression 4434 is located between the two ribs 4431 and 443.

The transverse rib 4431 abuts one of the extensions 2112 in the drawn state. One of the outer flanks 5171 of the U-ribs 446 is visible. The height of the transverse ribs 4432 and 4433 is dimensioned such that when brick II is displaced longitudinally they slide over the top edge strip 211 of brick I and there is only a minimal gap between them.

There are further depressions 4434 between the transverse ribs 4433 and 4432.

Im Anschluß an die letzte Querrippe 4434 befindet sich die Unterseite 63 des Mittelfeldes 6.The underside 63 of the middle field 6 is located after the last transverse rib 4434.

The depressions 4434 each form a vacuum chamber and thus increase the flow resistance and the rain resistance. The spacing of the transverse ribs 4433 and 4432 is such that they come to lie directly above the top edge strip 211 in the most common cover lengths.

Ziegel II ist nicht ganz gezogen, um die Darstellung deutlicher zu machen.FIG. 5 shows the longitudinal section through two overlapping bricks I and II in the area of the middle field trough 614. Brick II is not completely drawn in order to make the illustration clearer.

In gezogenem Zustand stößt die innere Flanke von Zapfen 444 gegen die äußere Flanke von Kopf rippe 217, die Flanke 4462 der U-Rippe 446 stößt gegen die innere Flanke des Kopfrandstreifens 211.The right pin 444 of the brick II lies on the left central field recess 614 of brick I. Following the pin 444 is the U-rib 446 with its recess 447. The height h of the U-rib 446 is dimensioned such that it slides over the inner head rib 217. In the pulled state, the inner flank of pin 444 abuts the outer flank of head rib 217, the flank 4462 of U-rib 446 abuts the inner flank of head edge strip 211.

Vor dem Kopfrandstreifen 211 befindet sich eine der Verlängerungen 2112.One of the extensions 2112 is located in front of the head edge strip 211.

The depression 447 creates a vacuum chamber, which increases the flow resistance and drips water particles that have been blown in.

Die Fig. 6 zeigt den Schnitt durch die Überdeckung des Vierziegelecks von Ziegel I bis Ziegel IV.6 shows the section through the covering of the four-tile corner from brick I to brick IV.

Brick I is shown in its side view, brick II is cut in the area of the corner cutout 295 of the top decking seam 29, brick III is in its side view drawn in the area of the toe fold 48, brick IV is cut in the area of the toe fold 49.

I.From brick II, the U-shaped connecting rib 3232 of the side rebate ribs 323 and 325, which come to coincide here, lies in the recess 5141 of the top side seam corner 28 of brick I.

Am Ziegel I ist die aufgesetzte L-Rippe 285 zu sehen mit deren abgesenktem Plateau 286, des weiteren der Kopfrandstreifen 211.On the brick I, the attached L-rib 285 can be seen with its lowered plateau 286, as well as the top edge strip 211.

From brick III you can see the water switch 489, which protrudes beyond the side rebate ribs 513 and 515, which also come to cover here. From tile IV, only the top seam part 3 is cut.

Zwischen Ziegel I und II befindet sich die vertikale Seitentrennfuge 962.Fig. 7 shows the top view of two tiles I and II covered next to each other. The U-shaped rib 3232 of tile II connects the two cover seam ribs 323 and 325 and lies in the lowered hollow 5141 of tile I. The vertical side partition 962 is located between bricks I and II.

Fig. 8 shows the top view of a second embodiment of the roof tile according to the invention without an elevated middle field. The head 2 of the covering element is shown.

The second embodiment of FIG. 1 corresponds essentially to that of FIGS. 1 to 7. For reasons of simplification, the same reference numerals are used for the same parts. The following is just the differences and some noteworthy details received. Otherwise, reference is made to the general description of FIGS. 1 to 7.

The second embodiment does not have an increased midfield. As a result, the middle field extends from the side fold part 5 to the top fold part 3. The inner top fold rib 217 thus extends without interruption from the inner side fold rib 517 to the inner flank 313 of the cover fold part. It is equipped with two 2171 overflow heads.

As a further consequence of the changed middle field, the middle extension 2112 is omitted. Such an extension can only be found on the inner side rebate rib 517.

Here too there are consequences due to the tile center field that has just been designed. The foot fold rib 44 extends continuously from the foot side fold corner 48 to its lowered section 441, which is arranged below the foot cover fold corner 49.

The L-rib 445 adjoins in the area of the foot-side fold corner 48. Following the rebate rib 44 is the now continuous U-rib 446 with two troughs 447. Between the two troughs 447 one or more longitudinal ribs 4463 are arranged, which have the same height as the U-rib 446. Following the U-rib 446 shows a recess 4434. This depression 4434 is surrounded by the likewise continuous plateau 448 which, when covered, lies directly above the top edge strip 211 of the underlying tile.

One or more recesses 4434 need only be arranged if it is necessary for manufacturing reasons. In the interest of rain safety and the reduction of the gap between the top edge strip 211 and the plateau 448, it is advantageous the plateau 448 without interruption, i. H. without allowing indentation 4434 to go through to the U-rib. In the first and second exemplary embodiment, when covering in the drawn state, the leg 4451 of the L-rib 445 lies in the corner cut-out 48 on the extension 2112 in the region of the inner side rebate rib 517 of the underlying tile.
