Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for fastening components to external insulation according to the preamble of claim 1.
- DE-OS 33 07 634 describes the milling of grooves into an external insulation, mounting slats being glued into the grooves, to which cladding panels are then attached. It is disadvantageous that the grooves have to be milled very carefully in order to obtain a straight and consistently deep groove, which enables the assembly batten to be inserted precisely with precise alignment with the surface of the external insulation. Subsequent adjustment of the surface of the mounting lath to the surface of the external insulation is not possible or at best with considerable effort.
- the mounting slats on the top of the outer insulation form thermal bridges, which have a disadvantageous effect on the cladding panels and lead to moisture precipitation there under certain atmospheric conditions. The latter in turn results in dirt and / or color changes in the cladding panels.
- CH-PS 674 234 describes an analogous method, but instead of long grooves, limited recesses are created, which are also not milled out, but are formed by means of a heated resistance wire.
- mounting plates with high mechanical strength are glued in place of mounting slats.
- This method also has the disadvantages already described above, with an additional complication that the cutting out of the recess by means of the heated resistance wire leads to greater inaccuracies in terms of shape, dimensional accuracy and surface quality of the recess. In particular, arises from the fusion cutting an uneven surface layer in the recess, which at least significantly impedes firm and permanent adhesion of the mounting plate.
- GB-A-2 126 619 describes a method for fastening components to external insulation, in which fastening laths are spaced directly at a component via glued-on insulation strips, i.e. to be attached to masonry.
- screws are used, which run through the mounting plates and are screwed into dowels, which are arranged in the masonry.
- Insulation plates are arranged between the fastening slats, which are held over covers which overlap the insulation plates and the fastening slats and are held by means of clips which are hammered into the fastening slats.
- This method of fastening is extremely complicated and in particular not suitable for fastening objects to the insulation layer, because on the contrary it serves to fasten the insulation layer to a component.
- the object of the invention is to improve a method of the type mentioned in the introduction so that the disadvantages mentioned are avoided.
- the circular design of the assembly base has the significant advantage that the recess in the outer insulation can be made easily and with great accuracy using a circular milling cutter that can be fastened in any drilling machine by hand and at any location, especially on the fully assembled outer insulation .
- the milling surfaces also provide the best adhesive properties, so that such an assembly pad on everyone any point of the external insulation can be attached with high accuracy and optimal gluing.
- the arrangement of the mounting plate in the interior of the recess and the insulation layer on the outside results in the further advantages that the mounting base can be easily adapted to the surface of the outside insulation by grinding.
- the outer insulation layer avoids cold bridges and therefore does not interfere with the insulation properties of the outer insulation, as a result of which punctual deviations in the surface properties are avoided on an overlying cover.
- the mounting plate used can be made of any material that provides a secure hold for fasteners such as screws.
- the mounting plate can consist of a hardboard.
- a mounting plate made of hard plastic is preferably used.
- An aluminum mounting plate not only has good strength properties, but is particularly suitable for self-tapping screws, for example. Otherwise, it is corrosion-resistant.
- An assembly base is advantageously used in which the assembly plate and the insulation layer are bonded according to claim 5, a dispersion adhesive being preferred with regard to strength properties and aging resistance.
- the mounting plate (s) used and / or the insulation layer can have different dimensions, but optimum values are given by claims 6 and / or 7.
- FIG. 1 shows a particularly advantageous mounting base 1 which has a mounting plate 2 which is made of aluminum and has a thickness of approximately 2 mm.
- This mounting plate is provided on one side with an insulation layer 3, which consists, for example, of polystyrene foam and has a thickness of approximately 10 mm.
- the mounting pad is designed as a circular disc and has a diameter of preferably 90 mm.
- the insulation layer 3 and the mounting plate 2 are connected to one another by means of an adhesive, preferably a dispersion adhesive.
- the insulation layer 3 can expand slightly conically outwards from the mounting plate 2, as a result of which the fit and centering of the mounting base in a recess can be improved.
- FIG. 2 shows an assembly pad 1 arranged in an external insulation 4, for example of a building, and a component 5 fastened thereon, which can be designed, for example, as an angle iron.
- a self-tapping screw 6 is used to fasten the component 5 to the assembly base 1.
- the assembly pad on or in the outer insulation 4 is arranged in a simple manner as follows. First, the intended assembly point, which is given by the axis 7, is marked on the outer insulation 4. Then, by means of a circular milling cutter, a recess 8 is made coaxially with the intended assembly point 7 in the outer insulation 4, the depth and diameter of which corresponds to the thickness and the diameter of the assembly base. Then the mounting pad 1 with the mounting plate 2 on the inside is glued into the recess 8, for which purpose a dispersion adhesive is preferably used. The assembly document is then located coaxially at the intended assembly point. The attachment point is prepared by pre-drilling through the assembly base so that component 5 can then be easily attached to the attachment point using screw 6.
