Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for utilizing the waste heat of flue gases, in the form of a pipe coil running laterally from an oven through a living space, through which the flue gases pass from the combustion area of the oven into a chimney.
Such a device is described in AT-PS 359 695, in which tube bundles are arranged in channels one above the other, through which the flue gas flows. It is difficult to produce coils from such tube bundles, which fill a given volume without any space. The "side box" described in AT-PS 359 695, which contains the tube bundle, is hardly resilient and therefore, apart from the heat emission, serves no function.
From AT-PS 343 317 the proposal is known per se to surround cavities through which the flue gas of a tiled stove flows, with walls which form a bench or couch. However, these walls have to be constructed in a complex manner from refractory bricks or sandstone slabs.
The invention is based on the object of constructing a device of the type outlined at the outset from prefabricated elements which can be easily assembled into a pipe coil which has an expedient shape and can be subjected to the loads which occur in lying or seating devices.
According to the invention it is provided to solve this problem that the pipe coil is composed of pipe sections which are approximately rectangular in cross section and at least part of a flue gas in a manner known per se flows through sitting or lying device.
As far as such pieces of pipe have been used in furnace construction (see AT-PS 373 374), it was a matter of assembling the furnace itself from these pieces of pipe. This was done by superimposing horizontally running rings, which overall resulted in a cuboid shape with a vertical inner shaft. The compact form of seating or lying arrangements is not suggested here.
The measure according to the invention gives the architect great freedom in the design of heat-emitting residential landscapes. This applies in particular if pipe pieces are also provided which are curved in the horizontal plane. There is then considerable freedom in the design of the floor plan, whereas the rectangular cross section of the pipes ensures that they are securely connected to one another. In practice, the fact that the resulting spatial forms have vertical walls and horizontal contact surfaces means no restrictions.
Simple examples for the application of the invention are explained below with reference to the drawing.
Fig. 1 ist die schaubildliche Darstellung eines ersten Ausführungsbeispieles, das unter Verwendung gerader Rohrstücke aufgebaut ist, Fig. 2 ist die schaubildliche Darstellung eines zweiten Ausführungsbeispieles, bei dem auch gekrümmte Rohrstücke Verwendung finden.1 is a diagrammatic representation of a first exemplary embodiment, which is constructed using straight pipe pieces, FIG. 2 is a diagrammatic representation of a second exemplary embodiment, in which curved pipe pieces are also used.
In the device according to the invention, the flue gases emerging from the combustion chamber of a
In order to make the
With
