Definitions

  • the invention relates to a motor vehicle door lock according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the known motor vehicle door lock from which the invention is based (DE-C 3 220 705), has a transmission lever which is pivotably mounted with one arm approximately centrally on the outer release lever.
  • the transmission lever has a link slot that extends axially approximately along the direction of incidence of the pawl, in which a cranked extension of the external securing lever engages as a link block.
  • the transmission lever is provided with an outwardly cut slot-like coupling opening, the longitudinal axis of which likewise extends in the axial direction of the transmission lever.
  • the cut-away area of the coupling opening is delimited by a transverse web projecting transversely to the direction of incidence and by a longitudinal web projecting approximately in the direction of incidence, between which a through opening is formed. If the pawl of the pawl present here is at the level of the through opening, the transmission lever can be pivoted through the external locking lever or the internal locking lever. When the lock latch and pawl are open, however, the driver pin is located in the undercut area of the coupling opening. In this case, the transmission lever cannot be swiveled. He thus blocks the movement of the external locking lever and the internal locking lever in this state, which are therefore blocked in this state in the unlocked position.
  • the motor vehicle door lock explained above also has the possibility of having a central locking drive engage on the external locking lever and on the internal locking lever with the aid of a central locking lever.
  • the known motor vehicle door lock explained above has the problem that the blocking of the external locking lever and the internal locking lever when the lock latch and pawl is open also acts on the central locking drive, for example if the latter operates from Passenger door or from the trunk lid is activated in the direction of the securing position.
  • An electronic memory circuit can be provided here, which stores the switching command for the central locking drive of the motor vehicle door lock of the door which is still open. But that is technically complex.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of mechanically designing and developing the known motor vehicle door lock, taking into account the requirements for a multi-point locking system, via a central locking system.
  • the blocking of the external securing lever and the possibly also blocked internal securing lever is made releasable. This takes into account the fact that locking from a position other than, for example, the driver's side of the motor vehicle requires that the driver or the other operator holds the vehicle key in his hand.
  • an additional blocking lever is provided and arranged in accordance with the features of claim 3. This allows greater design freedom in the design of the locking mechanism of the motor vehicle door lock.
  • FIG. 1 and 2 of the drawing show schematically, one below the other, the two areas of the locking mechanism arranged at an angle on a support plate of a motor vehicle door lock according to the invention in the locking position, FIG. 2 showing a view in FIG. 1 from the left.
  • the motor vehicle door lock shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 which must always be considered in connection, has a lock latch, not shown, and a pawl, not shown.
  • a driving pin 1 is provided for actuating the pawl, which can be seen in FIG.
  • the locking mechanism has an angled support plate 2, which forms the backbone of the entire construction, and an inside release lever 3 for releasing the door lock from the inside, an outside release lever 4 for releasing the door lock from outside, for example via a rod hooked into a fastening clip 5 from an outside lock cylinder Actuatable, namely pivotable about a pivot axis 6 external release lever 4, an interior locking lever 7, shown in Fig.
  • the inner locking lever 7 has a driver link 11, in which a driver lug 12 of the outer locking lever 8, which can be seen in FIG. 2, engages in a coupling manner.
  • a linkage clip 14 At the end of the external locking lever 8 opposite the pivot axis 13 there is a linkage clip 14 for hanging a rod connected to the locking cylinder of the motor vehicle door lock.
  • the central locking lever 9 is also shown in broken lines in Fig. 1 in the unlocked position. He engages with a driver pin 15 in a recess 16 in the inner locking lever 7 to take it. Because of the coupling with the external locking lever 8, the central locking lever is then used 9 also the external locking lever 8 is taken along.
  • the external locking lever 8 is shown in T-shape in FIG. 2 and has a curved slot link 17 at the lower end, in which a transmission pin 18 runs.
  • the transmission pin 18 can be swiveled freely past the free end of the transmission lever 10 when the outer release lever 4 is actuated in the position shown in FIG 30 on the transmission lever 10 to the system. If the outer release lever 4 (or the inner release lever 3) is then actuated, the transmission lever 10 is pivoted upward about its end on the left in FIG. 2, which is pivotably mounted on the support plate 2, as a result of which the driving pin 1 on the pawl is raised and the pawl is opened .
  • the external locking lever 8 and, in the exemplary embodiment shown here, the internal locking lever 7 is or are blocked in the unlocked position when the lock latch and pawl are open. It is provided according to the invention that the blocking of the external locking lever 8 and the possibly also blocked internal locking lever 7 when the lock latch and pawl is open can be released by moving the central locking lever 9 in the direction of the locking position shown in the figures and then the external locking lever 8 and possibly also the internal locking lever 7 with the central locking lever 9 can be brought into the securing position.
  • an additional locking lever 19 is provided in the exemplary embodiment shown here, which, when the external locking lever 8 is in the unlocking position (and here also the internal locking lever 7) and the open latch and pawl between a locking surface 20 on the external locking lever 8 and a counter surface 21 on a stationary part, here on the support plate 2, engages in the blocking position.
  • a spring 22 is provided in the form of a double swivel spring for loading the blocking lever 19 in the direction of the blocking position.
  • the blocking lever 19 cannot engage in the blocking position in the illustrated securing position.
  • This blocking lever 19 is, however, pivotably mounted on the external securing lever 8 by means of the pivot axis 23. If the external locking lever 8 in FIG. 2 is pivoted clockwise about the pivot axis 23 in the unlocking position, the blocking lever 19 is also pivoted at the same time. However, it then comes to rest, with the door still closed, on the driving pin 1 with a contact surface 24. The spring force of the spring 22 is not sufficient to push the driver pin 1 upwards. However, if the external release lever 4 is now actuated, for example, the driver pin 1 is raised and the pawl is brought into the open position. At the same time, the contact surface 24 becomes free and the blocking lever 19 can continue to pivot clockwise.
  • the blocking lug 25 which can be seen at the top right in FIG. 2 can engage between the blocking surface 20 and the counter surface 21 and prevent the outer locking lever 8 from moving back.
  • the transmission lever 10 itself could be influenced.
  • another solution is chosen, namely that the central locking lever 9 moves the blocking lever 19 back into its non-blocking position, namely by acting on the contact surface 24 in FIG. 2 downwards.
  • an auxiliary lever 26 is arranged between the two.
  • the auxiliary lever 26 projects with its actuating lug 27, which can also be seen in FIG. 2, into the movement path of the contact surface 24.
  • the contact surface 24 of the blocking lever 19 is located in relation to FIG.
  • the driver pin 15 On the further path in the direction of the securing position, the driver pin 15 then comes to rest on the edge of the recess 16 in the interior locking lever 7, which can be seen on the right in FIG. 1, and then also starts to take the interior locking lever 7 in the direction of the locking position. Since the blocking of the external securing lever 8 has been lifted in the meantime, the pivoting of the internal securing lever 7 and the external securing lever 8 can proceed unhindered in the securing position.
  • auxiliary lever 26 has the advantage that the installation-technical requirements can be taken into account precisely in the case of an angular design of the motor vehicle door lock.
  • the auxiliary lever 26 is expediently motion-coupled with the two levers interacting with it only in one direction of power transmission.
