Die in den Fig. 1 bis 4 der Zeichnung wiedergegebene Straßenbegrenzung zur Sicherung von öffentlichen Flächen, etwa Fahrbahnen, Fuß- und Radwegen, Plätzen oder dergl. gegen unerwünschtes Befahren besteht aus einer von einem Hohlprofil gebildeten Barre 1, die beidseitig an ihren Enden mit Endstücken 2 versehen ist, die der Verankerung der Barre 1 im Boden dienen. Die Endstücke 2 sind - siehe insbesondere die Fig. 3 und 4 - mit einem dem Profil der Barre 1 entsprechenden Anschlußstück 4 versehen, in dem ein über die Profilöffnung nach außen ragendes, als Steckrohr dienendes Verbindungsrohr 5 gehalten ist, dessen Außenkontur der Innenkontur einer im Innern der Barre 1 ausgebildeten Klemm-Öffnung entspricht. Im Falle der in den Fig. 2 bis 4 wiedergegebenen Ausführungsform ist die Barre von einem trigonalen Hohlprofil mit konvex gewölbten Kantenbereichen 6 und konkav gewölbten Flächenbereichen 8 gebildet ist, die mit Längssicken 9 zur Befestigung von Reflektionsbändern 10 versehen sind. Bei der in Fig. 5 wiedergegebenen, im wesentlichen der Sicht der Fig. 2 entsprechenden Ausführungsform einer liegenden Straßenbegrenzung ist anstelle des trigonalen ein quattrogonales Rohr 11 mit vorgesehen, mit einem Endstück 2 am Boden befestigt wird, das entsprechend ein quattrogonales Anschlußstück (entsprechend Teil 4 in Fig. 3) aufweist, im übrigen jedoch dem zur Befestigung einer trigonalen Barre verwendeten Endstück 2 entspricht. Hierbei sind die Endstücke im Falle der in den Fig. 3 und 4 wiedergegebenen Ausführungsformen einer Bordsteinkanten-Begrenzungen mit einem Endflansch 17 mit Querbohrung 18 zum Durchtritt einer Befestigungsschraube 19 versehen. Es können auf diese Weise die Borsteinkan ten-Begrenzungen direkt oder indirekt mittels Dübeln im Boden verankert werden, wobei einerseits zur Ausfüllung des von der konkaven Wölbung gebildeten Hohlraumes eine entsprechend ausgebildete Unterlegleiste 21 und/oder zur Schaffung einer geländerartig erhöhten Begrenzung ein Unterlegsockel 22 vorgesehen sein kann.
