Definitions

  • the invention relates to a collapsible container according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a container is known from DE-C-954 677, which has a lid (cf. FIG. 3) which can be opened into a stable open position and has four walls, which can each be stacked on top of one another and thus enable the container to be folded up.
  • a container is known from DE-C-906 073, which can also be stacked in the erected state.
  • a secure closed position should be achieved with a bent edge which acts both in the folded and in the erected state and which is at least suitable for keeping the container lid closed at the rear. With appropriately rough treatment, the bent edge can bend open again, so that the tightness of the container leaves something to be desired and the container begins to rattle in particular.
  • the containers can be transported in the set-up state, for example by forklift trucks or the like, if corresponding rails are provided which allow the containers to be driven under.
  • Carrier spider transport systems of this type are advantageous. For various reasons, only foldable crane hooks were used in collapsible containers, which however do not offer the automation options of carrying spiders.
  • a carrying spider for the container can be attacked in a surprisingly simple manner in supporting elements on the lid, so that undermining the stacked containers is in principle unnecessary and only stack securing elements have to be provided on the container bottom. It is particularly favorable that the bottom of the container can also be produced suitable for anodizing with the invention, because the invention opens up the possibility of using only a few welding points in the bottom area, and if desired a pure rivet construction can also be carried out.
  • the overall height is reduced if the feet of the container are greatly reduced and it is not necessary to drive under them with a forklift.
  • the container can also be transported in the collapsed state by means of a carrying spider.
  • the introduction of force is nevertheless particularly favorable, since the tensile forces that occur can be introduced into the floor assembly via the front and rear walls and, for example, joints designed in the manner of a piano hinge. When stacked, corresponding compressive forces occur which can be derived in the same way.
  • the container according to the invention is still rattle-proof, because with the L-shaped undercut on a wall that the lid engages behind, for example generate a preload which prevents the unstable wobbling of the walls in game guides.
  • the pretension is partly introduced into the side walls via the traps attached in the corner areas on the top and overlapping the rear or front wall, so that these are practically rattle-proof from above with additional frictional engagement even if the joints are somewhat should be knocked out.
  • the side walls can also serve as a support for high stacking loads. It is also expedient if a supporting edge forms a latching device on the rear wall, so that a stable position is obtained when the rear wall together with the lid is moved into the upright position. This is of particular importance since the container is usually set up by an operator and the risk of injury is then considerably reduced.
  • a locking device has a locking bar which extends axially parallel to the lid joint and is slidably mounted on the upper edge of the front wall.
  • locking tabs are attached in a conventional manner, which engage in corresponding recesses in the cover frame and lock there.
  • Dimensioning the edge of the lid is particularly favorable in such a way that the closing mechanism is completely overlapped by the lid and only a pivotable locking tab, which can also be secured, is exposed. Since the entire safety mechanism is accommodated in the front wall, it also does not burden the lid construction, which is thereby made lighter.
  • the cover construction which is already pulled down somewhat in accordance with the desired security, can at the same time, according to a particularly favorable solution, close a card-receiving pocket in a tamper-proof manner. It is therefore impossible that the documentation of the container according to the invention is manipulated. Rather, the labeling can only be changed when the container is authorized to be opened.
  • the front wall is held to be foldable in itself, although it can nevertheless lie essentially flat when folded.
  • this is brought into the loading position with the front wall folded down when the container according to the invention is set up, the two joints interacting in such a way that a kind of rolling movement occurs.
  • the side walls of the container are additionally designed to be tamper-proof via corresponding latches. If the lid is to be closed, the four latches attached to the corners must be in the engaged position due to the closed position acting according to the invention under a very slight pretension, so that lateral pressing is not possible.
  • the traps provide a stable and rattle-proof support for the lid construction according to the invention, with which manufacturing tolerances can also be compensated.
  • the trap engages with an appropriate undercut in the front wall profile.
  • the effective length of the elongated hole should correspond to the thickness of the profile of the front wall at the thickest point, and it can also be considered that the pivoting of the trap shortens the length required length.
  • a container 10 according to the invention has a front wall 12, two side walls, of which a side wall 14 is shown in FIG. 1, and a rear wall 16. All walls are hinged against a bottom wall 18 and covered by a cover 20.
  • the front wall 12 additionally has a centrally attached joint 22, which is arranged approximately at the end of the first third of its height and allows the upper part 24 of the front wall 12 to fold outwards / forwards.
  • the hinge 26 of the front wall which supports the lower part 28 of the front wall 12, a hinge 30 of the side wall 14, and a hinge 32 of the rear wall 16 are designed such that the walls in question can be folded inwards.
  • the joints 30 are arranged somewhat below the joints 26 and 32, so that the side walls 14 can first be folded inwards without conflicts with the front wall 12 and the rear wall 16.
  • All walls each have frame profiles in which the wall surfaces are supported against being pulled out and which are not shown in detail.
  • the cover 20 has a frame profile 34 which is essentially rectangular in cross section and additionally has a downward-facing securing apron 36 on the outside.
  • the safety apron 36 covers a closure device 38 attached in the uppermost region of the front wall 12, so that only a locking tab 40 is still visible. This can also be seen in detail in FIG. 3.
  • the frame profile 34 of the cover 20 has four recesses 41, which are provided in the corners of the cover 20 and point inwards, which serve as engagement openings for a support spider and act as support elements.
  • the safety apron 36 is also provided with an essentially horizontally extending elongated hole 42 which serves to receive and support a tie bolt 44 which is attached to a further joint 46 on the rear wall 16.
  • the cover 20 also has an undercut 48, which is designed as an inward-facing L-shaped extension of the securing apron 36 and is supported on a corresponding frame part of the frame profile of the rear wall 16, and relatively far out, so that a certain pretension can be introduced there with appropriately selected dimensions.
  • the undercut 48 can continue to be used if the accidental closing of the cover 20 from the upright position is to be prevented.
  • a latching device 50 is provided in the lower region of the rear wall 16, in particular in one piece with the bottom wall 18, which is designed as a latching lug and, in cooperation with the drawbar 44, allows the cover 20 to be supported in the open position.
  • Fig. 1 it can also be seen that the side walls 14 can each be equipped with handles 51 in a manner known per se.
  • the container 10 of the invention can be folded in a compact form.
  • the bottom wall 18 has feet 52 which are 100 mm high and each extend parallel to the side walls 14.
  • the feet 52 also serve for stacking engagement in the frame profile 34 of the lid 20, so that the stack size of the container is reduced accordingly in the folded state. With smaller feet, the stack size can be further reduced if desired.
  • Fig. 3 it can be seen that the joint 22 - like the other joints 26, 32 and 30 - is designed in the manner of a piano hinge.
  • An articulated link rod extends transversely through alternate articulated brackets 54 and 56, which are connected to the upper part 24 and to the lower part 28 of the front wall 12.
  • the design of the closure device 38 can be seen in detail in FIG. 3.
  • Two locking tongues 58 and 60 engage in corresponding recesses in the frame profile 34 of the cover 20 and each hold it down in the closed position shown in FIG. 3 with a corresponding undercut.
  • a locking bar 62 of the locking device 38 is mounted in the upper part 24 of the front wall 12 so that it can be moved and connected via a joint 64 to the locking tab 40, which is secured in a manner known per se, for example with a padlock which passes through a U-shaped bracket can.
  • a card receiving pocket 66 is attached to the upper part 24 of the front wall 12 in such a way that the transparent front surface reveals a corresponding container label, but an above-provided engagement opening 68 from the safety apron 36 of the frame profile 34 of the cover 20 is covered.
  • the fittings and closures, as well as the four traps arranged at the corners do not grind and scratch on wall surfaces, but instead are supported on the associated frame profiles he follows.
  • a container provided that has two side walls 14 and a front wall 12.
  • the front wall 12 and the side wall 14 are hinged to the inside of the container on a hinge, not shown.
  • the front wall is divided and provided above the hinge for folding inwards with another hinge with which it can be folded forward to simplify the loading of the container 10.
  • the side wall 14 In the erected state, the side wall 14 must be fastened to the front wall 12 in order to prevent inadvertent collapse of the two walls mentioned and to provide a stable and safe to use container.
  • a trap is used for this purpose, which is mounted on the side wall and overlaps the front wall.
  • the side wall and front wall each have an L-profile on their mutually facing longitudinal edges, the L-profile of the front wall forming a U facing the side wall.
  • the L-profile of the side wall forms a U facing away from the front wall, and the outer leg of the L-profile of the side wall lies against the inside of the outer leg of the L-profile of the front wall.
  • the side wall Since the L-profile of the side wall is located in the U of the front wall, the side wall can only be folded if and only if the front wall is already folded. In the erected state, the side wall is securely anchored to the front wall in this embodiment, the front wall being held on the side wall via the latch at the same time, which due to the mutual mounting increases the stability even with laterally acting loads.
