Description

The present invention relates to a support plate which can easily be placed on the equidistant vertical beams, mounted on the exterior wall of a building so that this wall is coated externally, on the one hand, with a thermal insulating layer and sound and, on the other hand, plates or panels forming the visible outer layer of the wall, as is common today. These plates or panels can be of various materials such as, for example, mirrors, cut stone, metal plates resistant to the agents considered, for example anodized aluminum or even stones reconstituted so that the building has an external face particularly neat, this coating also having the effect of ensuring a remarkable seal against wind, rain and snow.

Plates or supports intended to hold the cladding plates or panels externally have already been known for a long time, but their assembly is delicate and, in addition, the means for fixing the external plates or panels do not allow rapid and correct installation and, very often, the fastening members of these plates do not resist wear as long as desired, which means that the cladding plates or panels may fall, thus degrading the facade of the building. Their design did not allow a homogeneous compression of the joint which forms along the rafters or the like, which is particularly disastrous after a certain time.

The present invention overcomes this drawback by creating a prefabricated support plate shaped to facilitate the installation of a thermal and sound insulating mattress but also of the support for the plates or external panels by means of external clips without risk of causing a deterioration of the edge of the plates or panels of coating and by allowing easily, if necessary, the installation of a seal between the plates and panels after assembly so that the coating exterior wall is uniform, perfectly tight as well to the bad weather as to the gases contained in the air causing oxidations being able to go until the degradation of all or part of the plates-supports or staples holding the plates.

Le rapport de recherche relatif à la présente invention a fait connaître le document EP-A-0 080 088.The research report relating to the present invention made known the document EP-A-0 080 088.

Among the documents of the prior art, the document EP-A-0 080 088 can indeed be considered to be the closest state of the art.

However, the destination of the plate described by this document is not the same as that of the plate according to the present invention and is not intended for the support of an exterior wall covering.

De manière toutefois à tenir compte d'un état de la technique dans la rédaction de ses revendications, la Demanderesse a rédigé sa revendication principale en tenant compte du document EP-A-0 080 088.In order, however, to take into account a state of the art in the drafting of its claims, the Applicant has drawn up its main claim taking account of document EP-A-0 080 088.

Thus, in accordance with the present invention, the support plates which are each constituted by a substantially rectangular metal strip shaped in its center to match the front face in excess thickness of each spar and extended on their sides by flat parts pierced with perforations, punctures being provided in the central deformation to ensure support of the support plates, are characterized in that the flat parts have terminal cutouts, the punctures ensuring temporarily maintaining said support plates before final fixing by any suitable means of these support plates on the side members by penetration members passing through holes provided in predetermined locations in the deformed part of each support plate, said perforations and cutouts receiving two by two of the staples forming a handle for holding their upper and lower edges, as the case may be, of cladding plates forming the facade of the building in question.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the staples, which have a general shape of a Ω, have branches delimiting a hoop forming a handle to receive sometimes the lower edge, sometimes the upper edge of the covering plates while the terminal ends are hung in the perforations and cutouts.

Various other characteristics of the invention will also emerge from the detailed description which follows.

Embodiments of the object of the invention are shown, by way of nonlimiting examples, in the accompanying drawings.

Fig. 1 is a partial view of a wall covering during assembly.

1.Fig. 2 is a section on a larger scale taken along the line II-II of FIG. 1.

Fig. 3 is a cutaway view showing a support plate, before mounting, with the partial positioning of the staples.

Fig. 4 is a longitudinal section showing an angled wall covering.

Fig. 5 is a perspective view of another embodiment of the clip.

Fig. 6 is a front perspective view of a support plate used at the start or at the end of the coating of a facade.

1, there is shown, schematically, a wall M on which are fixed, in an equidistant manner, vertical beams 2 which are held on the wall M by holding members 3 which can be, for example, plugs or nails to pneumatic insertion in order to ensure perfect retention of the beams in both orthogonal directions, so that all the front faces 3a of these beams are arranged in the same vertical plane in order to compensate for the external irregularities of the wall M.

Next, between these longitudinal members, the thermal and sound insulating panels 4 (see FIG. 2) are installed which are fixed to the wall M by any suitable means, for example by gluing, stapling or the like.

When this work is finished, it is possible to set up, as can be seen both in fig. 1 as in fig. 2, support plates 5 which are formed, as illustrated in FIG. 3, by a metal strip of rectangular shape having in its center a deformation 6 making it possible to center the plate 5 considered on the spar at the location defined in advance, the locations of the support plates 5 being equidistant in the vertical direction.

The deformation 6 has punctures 7 which allow a first temporary fixing of the plate 5 on the vertical spar 2 thus ensuring, by pre-fixing, an anti-rotation of the plate 5 then permanently fixed by various means and through the holes 8 provided for this purpose.

During manufacture, most often by stamping, square perforations 9 and side cutouts 10 are provided, the role of which will be explained below.

Indeed, when the support plates 5 are in place on the side members 2, staples 12 are engaged by their ends 12a, 12b in the square perforations 9 and the cutouts 10 as is clearly visible in FIG. 3. It is also possible to provide the user with totally or partially pre-assembled support plates with their staples. Each clip which has in general form, approximately the shape of an Ω delimits by its branches 12c, 12d, a basket which is formed by the central arch 12c. As can be seen in fig. 3, the upper clips allow support each upper plate or panel 20 while the lower clips (see fig. 3) hold the upper part of the lower panels 20. In general, the panels 20 are staggered (see fig. 2) but can also be arranged one above the others according to the drawing which the architect who prepared and studied the facade of the building considered finally wanted.

These clips 12, one of which is very visible on the upper right part of FIG. 3, are most often made of a metallic wire made of special stainless steel. In addition, it is possible that all or part of the staple is sheathed with a synthetic material of the color of the plates 20 so that, when the coating is in place, the staples are not visible or, at least, disappear in the entire facade. In addition, and although this is not necessary every time, it is also possible that, after the plates 20 are locked by the staples 12, it is fitted with seals arranged horizontally and vertically between the plates 20.

Bien que, en général, on utilise des plaques 20 carrées ou rectangulaires, il est possible d'utiliser également pour ces revêtements muraux extérieurs des plaques de forme polygonale venant s'encastrer les unes dans les autres et maintenues à l'aide des plaquettes-supports 5 et des agrafes 12.Although, in general, square or rectangular plates are used, it is also possible to use, for these exterior wall coverings, plates of polygonal shape which fit into one another and are held in place by means of the plates. supports 5 and staples 12.

In some cases, the support plates 5 can be bent (see fig. 4) to match wall angles, for example inside corners, these support plates 5 being fixed on vertical rafters 21 shaped to match the various shapes of the building considered. In some special cases, especially when the rafters are irregular in section, the angle may be made with two half staples cut in the height direction. The mounting of the staples is strictly the same as that described above. Thus, the wall covering can adapt to any shape of building and even obtuse angles because, at this time, the folding of the support plate 5 can be modified at will.

In some cases, it is necessary to use staples 30 (see fig. 5) which are particularly used during local repairs and which avoid the dismantling of numerous plates 20. As can be seen in this figure, the terminal wings ( 30a, 30b) of the clip (30) form a double volute thus permitting the penetration of its ends by pressure like a press button in the perforations (9) and the cutouts (10). Of course, the clip (30) is made of the same materials as the clip (12).

As shown in fig. 6, it is possible, by different positions of the clips on the support plate, to obtain parts intended for the departure and arrival of the facade.
