Definitions
- the invention relates to a heel holder according to the preamble of claim 1 or 9.
- Such a heel holder is described for example in AT-B-383 498.
- the bearing block is returned to its central position in relation to the base plate by means of a leg spring, the two legs of which are each provided with a cranked end region in the direction of the top of the ski. These two end areas engage in a recess formed at the rear end of the base plate.
- the locking takes place in the central position of the pedestal by means of a resilient tongue forked at its end, which is located in the bottom of the pedestal, is controlled by the locking rocker and is supported in the locked position on a projection of the base plate.
- a resilient tongue forked at its end which is located in the bottom of the pedestal, is controlled by the locking rocker and is supported in the locked position on a projection of the base plate.
- This heel holder is shown by AT-B-380 174.
- This heel holder belongs to a different genre than the subject of the invention, as an additional elastic locking device which holds the bearing block in its central position while getting on with the ski shoe, here are missing the features of the invention of claims 1 and 9 are not realized in the known embodiment.
- the heel holder described in DE-A-22 00 768 also differs in terms of its type from the subject of the invention. So this heel holder does not have a swivel head, but a housing-shaped heel holder. There is no step. In the event of a fall, the sole hold-down is rotated by a vertical screw bolt. In this case, a stop, which is loaded by the release spring and is fastened to the sole hold-down device, is pivoted and is supported on a counter stop of a carriage carrying the heel holder. In this embodiment, too, an additional elastic locking device is missing. As a result, the inventive features of claims 1 and 9 are also not available here.
- the object of the invention is to avoid the disadvantages of the known designs and to provide a heel holder, the holder of which is held in the centered position (departure position or entry position) by means of a non-positive locking device.
- this object is achieved according to the invention by the features of the characterizing part of this claim.
- the controlled diagonal release of a heel holder equipped with a locking device according to the invention can also be carried out by untrained persons. Regardless of this, this locking device ensures a central position of the heel holder for entry even in difficult terrain.
- the measure of claim 2 increases the rigidity of the insert, so that it can be made from a thinner material.
- the subject matter of claim 3 facilitates the manufacture of the locking device from a band material and its anchoring to the insert.
- the measure of claim 5 increases the security of the heel holder against unwanted lateral pivoting.
- claim 6 makes it possible to make the leaf spring thinner, which makes manufacture easier.
- the measure of claim 7 enables a lateral deflection of the cushion made of viscous or rubber-elastic material when the bearing block is pivoted.
- the subject of claim 8 makes it possible to dispense with the arrangement of a plastic insert in the bearing block, which simplifies the manufacture of the heel holder.
- the heel holder according to claim 9 represents a kinematic reversal of the heel holder characterized in claim 1. This reversal has the advantage that both the cushion and the leaf spring do not perform any relative movement with respect to the ski during the release process and therefore cannot be loosened.
- the curvature of the ski present in the binding area for reasons of strength is compensated for in such a way that the ski boot to be used lies with its sole essentially in one plane parallel to the running surface of the ski.
- FIG. 1 is a vertical longitudinal central section through a first heel holder according to the invention in the driving position.
- Fig. 2 shows a detail of the same in section along the line II - II in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2a, the same detail in the pivoted-out position of the heel holder.
- 2b illustrates a modification of the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2.
- FIGS. 3 to 13 show variants of the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2 in cross section.
- the heel holder 1 is designated in its entirety by 1. It is displaceably guided on a rail 2, which is fastened to the top of a ski 2a by means of screws (not shown) and can be fixed by means of a catch 3 which engages in at least one recess in the rail 2. In this way, the heel holder 1 can be adapted to different shoe sizes.
- the heel holder 1 consists of a base plate 4 which slides along the rail 2 and which carries an axis 5 perpendicular to the base plate 4.
- a bearing block 6 is pivotably mounted on this and is urged into the central position by a leg spring 5a.
- the base plate 4 carries an upward projection 4a, to which a recess 6a in the base 6b of the bearing block 6 is assigned.
- the top of the base plate 4 includes with its underside an acute angle ⁇ open to the rear. This inclined position of the heel holder 1 compensates for the curvature of the ski present in the binding area, such that the ski boot used lies with its sole essentially in one plane parallel to the running surface of the ski.
- a binding housing 7 is fastened on the bearing block 6.
- the binding housing 7 carries at its front end on a transverse axis 8 a swivel head 9 with a sole hold-down 9a and a step spur 9b.
- a roller 11 is mounted, which rests on a control curve 4b of the base plate 4.
- a locking rocker 13 is mounted on a further transverse axis 12, which rests on a control cam 9c, which is arranged on the inside of the swivel head 9.
- the locking rocker 13 is acted upon by a piston 14 by two coaxial compression springs 15, 16 mounted in the binding housing 7, the pretensioning of which can be adjusted by means of an adjusting screw 17.
- a plate-shaped insert 18 made of plastic is attached, which runs parallel to its base 6b.
- This insert 18 has in the region of its long sides downwardly projecting shelves 18a1, 18a2.
- a leaf spring 19 which acts as a catch is arranged between the insert 18 and the projection 4a of the base plate 4 which is rectangular in cross section.
- a hand lever 10 which is only partially shown, is attached to a cross bolt 13a of the locking rocker 13 in a manner known per se.
- the leaf spring 19 - viewed in the longitudinal direction of the ski - is approximately W-shaped. It has a horizontal central part 19a, two adjoining legs 19b1, 19b2 adjoining the latter, and two further adjoining legs 19c1, 19c2 adjoining the latter. The ends of these legs 19c1, 19c2 are in turn angled at 19d1, 19d2 and lie on the undersides and on the side surfaces of the two shelves 18a1, 18a2.
- the leaf spring 19 In the travel position, the leaf spring 19 is in the position shown in FIG. 2. (However, if the bearing block 6 is pivoted relative to the base plate 4 (see FIG. 2a), one lower end of the leaf spring 19 is pressed upward, for which a relatively large force is initially required, but this decreases as soon as the pressed-back lower end rests on the upper side of the protrusion 4a of the base plate 4. From this point in time, the pivoting of the bearing block 6 only takes place against the force of the lift which occurs between the leaf spring 19 and the base plate 4 or its protrusion 4a.
- the modified embodiment according to Fig. 2b differs from the first described in that the bearing block 6 ', which is pivotally mounted on a vertical axis of the base plate 4', is relatively flat and has two approaches at its rear end with which it engages in recesses in the transverse wall of a housing 21, which is preferably made of aluminum for strength reasons.
- the bearing block 6 ' At the front end of the bearing block 6 'carries two bearing eyes, which are aligned in the assembled state with two bearing eyes of the housing 21 and are penetrated together with this by a bolt.
- the housing 21 has a transverse web 18 ', which is integrally formed with the housing 21.
- the crossbar 18 ' serves to support a leaf spring 19', which corresponds to the leaf spring of the first embodiment.
- the leaf spring 119 shown in Fig. 3 is similar to that described first. It differs from this only in that the ends of the legs 119c1, 119c2 are bent inward at an obtuse angle and rest on the insides 118 of the two shelves 118a1, 118a2.
- the legs 219c1, 219c2 are angled outwards at their ends 219d1, 219d2 and snap into the recessed edges between the shelves 218a1, 218a2 and the insert 218.
- a leaf spring 319 is similar to that described first, except that the ends 319d1, 319d2 of the two legs 319c1, 319c2 rest on the undersides and on the inside of the two shelves 318a1, 318a2 of the insert 318.
- leaf spring 419 shown in FIG. 6 with the ends of its outer legs 419c1, 419c2 only on the inside of the two shelves 418a1, 418a2 of the insert 418.
- the projection 504a to 804a of the base plate 504 to 804 on its upper side has a cross-sectionally triangular rib 504b to 804b in the ski longitudinal direction, which in the driving position of the Heel holder engages in a corresponding notch of the leaf spring 519 to 819.
- the attachment of the ends of the legs 519c1, 519c2 to 819c1, 819c2 takes place as has already been described in connection with FIGS. 2,5, 6 and 7.
- the spring 819 shown in FIG. 10 is U-shaped, the two legs 819e1, 819e2 are each provided with an outwardly directed step. The stiffness of the spring is reduced by this step.
- Leaf spring 919 is characterized in that a cushion 920 made of viscous or rubber-elastic material is accommodated in the cavity between the leaf spring 919 and the insert 918, which enables a thinner design of the leaf spring 919.
- the ends of the outer legs 919c1, 919c2 lie here on the insides of the two shelves 918a1, 918a2 of the insert 918.
- a cushion 1020 made of rubber is arranged above the spring and is supported on the insert 1018.
- the leaf spring 1019 is not attached to the insert 1018 with the upper ends of its legs 1019c1 1019c2, but the ends 1019d1, 1019d2 of the legs 1019c1, 1019c2 are bent outwards and lie on the edge of a recess in the base 1006b of the pedestal 1006.
- the embodiment according to FIG. 13 is characterized in that the base plate 4 ⁇ has a recess 4 ,c running in the longitudinal direction thereof, which is rectangular in plan view and in cross section and into which a cushion 20 ⁇ made of rubber-elastic material is inserted.
- This cushion 20 ⁇ is covered on its top by a leaf spring 19 ⁇ , which has a trapezoidal cross-section in its central region.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a heel holder according to the preamble of
Such a heel holder is described for example in AT-B-383 498. With this heel holder, the bearing block is returned to its central position in relation to the base plate by means of a leg spring, the two legs of which are each provided with a cranked end region in the direction of the top of the ski. These two end areas engage in a recess formed at the rear end of the base plate.
In a simple version of this heel holder, the locking takes place in the central position of the pedestal by means of a resilient tongue forked at its end, which is located in the bottom of the pedestal, is controlled by the locking rocker and is supported in the locked position on a projection of the base plate. In order to prevent a lateral swiveling out of the bearing bracket even with permanent lateral loading through this tongue when boarding, high demands are placed on the manufacturing accuracy in this embodiment, since the position at which the locking arm just engages under the locking lug must exactly coincide with the position where the tongue leaves the ledge.
In other designs of such a heel holder (see FIGS. 7 - 15 and AT-B-386 749) the above-mentioned disadvantage does not occur, but these designs are due to the lever-like latching element which acts under the action of a spring and which can be pivoted in the bearing block is stored, somewhat complicated in its structure. In addition, in both cases the heel holder can only be pivoted when the sole holding-down device is open. Furthermore, the demonstration of the diagonal control on this heel holder is cumbersome in that an excessive swiveling up of the sole hold-down device immediately locks the fe it leads to a lateral swinging out of the heel holder. This is the result of the design of the locking mechanism with positive locking.
Another heel holder is shown by AT-B-380 174. This heel holder belongs to a different genre than the subject of the invention, as an additional elastic locking device which holds the bearing block in its central position while getting on with the ski shoe, here are missing the features of the invention of
The heel holder described in DE-A-22 00 768 also differs in terms of its type from the subject of the invention. As a result, the inventive features of
The object of the invention is to avoid the disadvantages of the known designs and to provide a heel holder, the holder of which is held in the centered position (departure position or entry position) by means of a non-positive locking device.
Starting from a heel holder according to the preamble of
The measure of
The subject matter of claim 3 facilitates the manufacture of the locking device from a band material and its anchoring to the insert.
The subject matter of
The measure of claim 5 increases the security of the heel holder against unwanted lateral pivoting.
The subject matter of
The measure of
The subject of claim 8 makes it possible to dispense with the arrangement of a plastic insert in the bearing block, which simplifies the manufacture of the heel holder.
The heel holder according to claim 9 represents a kinematic reversal of the heel holder characterized in
Due to the feature of
In the drawing, for example, embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown. Fig. 1 is a vertical longitudinal central section through a first heel holder according to the invention in the driving position. Fig. 2 shows a detail of the same in section along the line II - II in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2a, the same detail in the pivoted-out position of the heel holder. 2b illustrates a modification of the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2. FIGS. 3 to 13 show variants of the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2 in cross section.
It is displaceably guided on a
The

It has a horizontal
In the travel position, the
The modified embodiment according to Fig. 2b differs from the first described in that the bearing block 6 ', which is pivotally mounted on a vertical axis of the base plate 4', is relatively flat and has two approaches at its rear end with which it engages in recesses in the transverse wall of a
At the front end of the bearing block 6 'carries two bearing eyes, which are aligned in the assembled state with two bearing eyes of the
The
The embodiment shown in Fig. 5 of a
Durch diese Stufe wird die Steifigkeit der Feder herabgesetzt.7 to 9 differ from those described so far in that the
Also in the embodiment of a
The embodiment according to FIG. 13 is characterized in that the
The invention is not tied to the exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing and described above. Rather, various modifications thereof are possible without leaving the scope of the invention. For example, it would be possible to produce the
