Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a packaging made of cardboard or the like. for several bottle-like containers arranged one behind the other in at least one row, with a flat lower part folded from a flat cardboard blank, in which are the containers which are spanned by an upper part, which is also made from a flat cardboard blank.
Numerous packaging of this type are known in practice, some of which tightly enclose the container as a sleeve and thereby give the containers a firm hold. To remove the container, however, this packaging must be destroyed, which is usually very complex and time-consuming.
Another type of known packaging is the open top carrier into which the containers are placed from above and from which they can be easily removed. However, the hold achieved is more than modest.
From GB-A-2 096 972 a packaging of the type mentioned is also known, the upper part being hook-shaped Has approaches which are inserted to connect the two parts between part walls of the longitudinal side walls.
Such locks are - if they should hold - difficult to use and pull out. In addition, their production is very material-intensive, since these hooks have to be molded on the side outside of the cut that is actually necessary.
From US-A-2 777 630 a locking element with an arc-shaped tab is also known, which can be inserted for locking in a horizontally extending incision. However, the insertion can only take place if the cap carrying the rag can be pushed upwards after the insertion. So that the upper part has so much play compared to the lower part that a good hold of inserted bottles cannot be achieved.
The invention has for its object to design a packaging of the type mentioned so that the containers experience a very good hold, but are still easy to remove.
This object is achieved in that arc-shaped or wave-shaped sections punched out of the interior of the upper part are provided, which engage in punched-out portions of the lower part, the upper part locking in the lower part, and the provided in the side walls of the lower part and for engagement of the arcuate lugs arranged at the free end of the upper part are formed T-shaped.
This creates a sufficiently stable packaging that offers very good protection for the containers set, particularly for transport from manufacturer to seller; but with a single movement can be opened and then represents a very effective sales tray that still securely supports the containers on the sales shelf without adversely affecting their removability.
The T-shaped incisions in the side walls of the lower part ensure that the arcuate lugs of the upper part can be easily inserted, which leads to a very effective locking of the arcuate or wavy sections punched out from the inside in the corresponding punched-out portions of the lower part .
It is also very advantageous if, according to the invention, the lower part has a bottom wall section, on which a side wall is articulated via a fold line, which in turn is articulated to an upper wall, which carries a further side wall via a fold line, and if at the free end edges flaps of different sizes are hinged, which form the end walls of the lower part, and if a further bottom wall section is hinged to the side wall, which is glued or sealed to the first bottom wall section when the lower part is erected.
This creates a very stable lower part which retains its inherent rigidity even after the upper part has been removed and gives the containers good stability.
A further advantageous embodiment of the invention is that the upper part has a top wall with which it rests on the containers, wherein a side wall is articulated on both sides of this top wall, each of which is provided with at least one extension, which corresponds to the corresponding side wall of the lower part overlaps at least partially.
This upper part holds the lower part very well, but can be easily removed from the lower part due to the simple attachment to the lower part.
A further advantageous embodiment of the invention is that the one side wall of the upper part is provided with two arcuate sections arranged at a distance from one another and the other side wall is provided with an undulating section which provides a two-point system, while the lower part has corresponding punched-out areas for receiving these sections.
This gives the top part an even better hold on the bottom part and can also transfer this to the container.
A very particularly stable connection between the upper and lower part is achieved according to the invention in that at least one of the two side walls of the upper part is provided with two spaced apart approaches.
A very simple configuration of the packaging for a two-row arrangement of the containers is achieved according to the invention in that two lower parts are arranged side by side, the adjacent side walls of which are glued to one another, and in that the top wall of the upper part resting on the containers corresponds to the width of two rows of containers.

10, in deren Verlauf im Bereich der T-förmigen Einschnitte ebenfalls Einschnitte vorgesehen sind, die eine einwandfreie Faltung ohne Beeinträchtigung der T-förmigen Einschnitte ermöglichen.1 in FIG. 1 denotes a flat cardboard blank which has a bottom wall section 2 to which a
The upper part of the packaging is also made from a flat cardboard blank 20 which has a
