Abstract

To provide for weapons with at least two barrels a single lock having only one striking piece (1) assigned to the striking pin (5 or 8) of one barrel or the other directly by means of the respective trigger (3 or 6), the striking piece (1) is connected rotatably to an articulated piece (2) in the manner of a toggle joint. In the folded position of the striking piece (1) and articulated piece (2), the striking piece (1) is aligned with the striking pin (5) of the lower barrel, whereas in the extended position of the striking piece (1) and articulated piece (2) the striking piece (1) is assigned to the striking pin (8) of the upper barrel. A catch device (1a, 2a, 9, 10) is provided for the striking piece (1) and articulated piece (2). When one trigger (6) is actuated, this catch device releases the striking piece (1) and articulated piece (2) together in the extended position, so that the striking piece (1) butts against the striking pin (8) of the upper barrel. When the other trigger (3) is actuated, the catch device releases only the striking piece (1) in the folded position relative to the articulated piece (2) which remains locked. In this case, the striking piece (1) butts against the striking pin (5) of the lower barrel. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a lock for weapons with at least two barrels, in particular drop barrel weapons, with only one striker which can be actuated by a striker and two triggers, each of which is assigned to a barrel, the striker depending on the actuation of one or the other trigger Firing pin of one or the other barrel is aligned.

Various locks for multi-barrel weapons with only one striking piece and only one striking spring are known as so-called lock weapons. The main advantage of lock-in weapons is, on the one hand, that they are cheaper to manufacture, since fewer individual parts are required, and on the other hand, they are safer than multi-locks Weapons, since the use of only one hammer prevents a "double" of the weapon when firing a shot. A major disadvantage of these inclusion weapons, however, is that the striking piece must be assigned to the barrel from which the shot is to be fired before a shot is fired.

For the respective assignment of the striking piece to the desired barrel, it is known to provide a switching device to be actuated on the outside of the weapon via a slide, which switches the striking piece against the respective firing pin according to its setting (DE-OS 2315951). The main disadvantage of this construction is that before the trigger is actuated, the selection of the respective barrel must be made via the switching slide to be set by the shooter. However, it often happens that this switch is not made in a hurry or is forgotten and thus a shot is fired from a run that was not intended.

It is also already known (DE-PS 1128787) to effect the assignment of the striking piece to the desired barrel of a multi-barrel weapon by means of a switching device which is actuated by one of the two deductions. When pulling the trigger, the switching device is moved from the trigger to the associated firing pin in a first phase and only then is the shot triggered. This has the disadvantage that a high trigger resistance has to be overcome and the trigger a relatively large one Has way, because it must first be operated the switching device before the shot is triggered.

Finally, it is also known (DE-PS 3640606) to control the assignment of the striking piece to a barrel of a multi-barrel weapon directly through the trigger and for this purpose to provide spring-loaded, pivotable support flaps to the side of the striking piece, the front part of which is on both sides of the supporting flaps is stored evasively. Each support flap is assigned to a trigger. However, this solution is structurally complex.

The invention has for its object to provide a structurally simple lock for weapons with at least two barrels, in which the assignment of the striking piece to the firing pin of the desired barrel takes place in a simple manner directly via the respective trigger.

According to the invention the above object is achieved in that
  • a) the striking piece is rotatably mounted on a joint piece such that the striking piece and joint piece form a knee joint,
  • b) when the striking piece and joint piece are in a bent position, the striking piece is aligned with the firing pin of the one barrel and when the striking piece and joint piece is stretched out, the striking piece is aligned with the firing pin of the other barrel and
  • c) the striker and joint piece is assigned a latching device which, when the one trigger is actuated, triggers the striker and joint piece together in the extended position and, when the other trigger is actuated, only the striker in the bent position to the latched joint piece.

This allows the striker to move around one of two different pivot points, depending on the trigger that is actuated. These two fulcrums are arranged so that, when moving about the one fulcrum, the striking piece hits the firing pin of the lower barrel, but when moving about the other fulcrum it hits the firing pin of the upper barrel of the weapon in question. The movement of the striking piece around the respective pivot point is inevitably and directly triggered by the trigger selected in each case. The solution according to the invention is structurally simple and robust.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention emerge from the subclaims.

Figure 1 shows the lock of a double-barreled weapon in the cocked state. A tensioning slide 12 mounted on a box disk 11 of the lock engages in a tensioning jack 14 rotatably mounted in the lock plate 13 and prestresses an impact spring 15 in the pre-pressed position shown in FIG. 1. The impact spring 15 wraps around a guide rod 16 with some radial play, which is rotatably connected at one end to an impact piece 1 and is displaceably mounted in the tensioning lever 14 at the other end. A joint piece 2 is rotatably mounted in the lock plate 13 by means of a bearing bolt 7 and it has a central recess (not shown) transverse to its axis of rotation for receiving a part of the striking piece 1. The striking piece 1 is rotatably mounted in the mentioned recess in the joint piece 2 by means of a bearing pin 4. Striking piece 1 and joint piece 2 form a knee joint, which is in the extended position in FIG. 1. The striking piece 1 and joint piece 2 assume a retracted position distant from the striking pins 5 and 8 of the weapon.

Two latches 9, 10 are rotatably supported at a lateral distance from one another on an axis 17 which is fastened to the lock plate 13. In FIG. 1, the latch 10 engages over a latch 2a arranged on the joint piece 2. The locking pawl 10 has the function of a trigger rod and, with its actuating projection 10a projecting laterally, engages over a trigger blade 6a of the rear trigger 6 of the weapon (FIG. 4).

At the same time, the catch 9 in FIG. 1 engages via a catch 1a arranged on the striking element 1. The latch 9 also has the function of a trigger rod and, with its laterally protruding, relatively longer actuating projection 9a, it engages over a trigger blade 3a of the front trigger 3 and the trigger blade 6a of the rear trigger 6 of the weapon. In the tensioned position of the lock shown in FIG. 1, the striker 1, which is under the pressure of the striking spring 15, is held by the latch 9 via its catch 1a, and at the same time the joint piece 2, which is under the pressure of the striker spring 15, is held by its catch 2a the pawl 10 locked.

Es wird betont, daß dabei sichergestellt ist, daß der Schlagbolzen 8 für den oberen Lauf vom Schlagstück 1 nicht berührt wird.FIG. 2 shows the lock when the striking piece 1 strikes the firing pin 5 for the lower barrel, triggered by actuation of the front trigger 3. By pulling the front trigger 3, its trigger blade 3a is raised and this movement is transmitted via the actuating projection 9a projecting laterally the catch 9 on the catch 9, whereby this the catch 1 a Percussion piece 1 releases. The striking piece 1 is rotated counterclockwise by the pressure of the tensioned striking spring 15 around the bearing pin 4 according to FIG. 2, where it strikes the lower striking pin 5. Here, the joint piece 2 remains in its locked position shown in FIG. 2, in which it is held by the latch 10 via its latch 2a. The striker 1 and the joint piece 2 have a kinked position in this state (they form a kinked knee joint). It is emphasized that this ensures that the firing pin 8 is not touched by the striker 1 for the upper barrel.

Fig. 3 shows the lock when striking the striker 1 on the upper firing pin 8, triggered by actuation of the rear trigger 6 to fire a shot from the upper barrel of the weapon. By pulling the rear trigger 6, its trigger blade 6a is raised and this movement is simultaneously transmitted to the latch 9 via the actuating projection 9a projecting laterally and further to the latch 10 via the shorter actuating projection 10a projecting laterally. The catches 9, 10 thereby simultaneously release the catch 1a of the striking piece 1 and the catch 2a of the joint piece 2. By the pressure of the tensioned striking spring 15, the striking piece 1 and the joint piece 2 are then rotated together counterclockwise around the bearing pin 7 according to FIG. 3. The striking piece 1 hits the firing pin 8 for the upper barrel, contact with the firing pin 5 for the lower barrel being reliably excluded. During the rotation of the impact piece 1 and the joint piece 2 about the bearing pin 7 under the pressure of the striking spring 15, the striking piece 1 and the joint piece 2, which together form the knee joint, have an extended position. The striking piece 1 represents a two-armed lever, the lower lever arm ending in a finger-like extension 18, which bears against the bearing pin 7 counterclockwise during the joint rotation of the striking piece 1 and the joint piece 2. A rotation of the striking piece 1 around the bearing pin 4 under the action of the force of the striking spring 15 is avoided during this phase in that the moment of inertia of the upper lever arm of the striking piece 1 is substantially greater than that of the lower lever arm. As a result, the joint piece 2 and the impact piece 1 remain in an extended position during this rotation.

The partial top view of FIG. 4 in the area of the deductions 3, 6 or their deduction sheets 3a and 6a clearly shows the interaction of the deductions with the latches 9 and 10. If the front trigger 3 is pulled, its trigger blade 3a transmits the movement via the laterally protruding actuating projection 9a of the latch 9 to this latch, which thereby releases the latch 1a of the striker 1. If, on the other hand, the rear trigger 6 is pulled, its trigger blade 6a transmits this movement to the laterally protruding actuating projection 9a of the latching pawl 9 and at the same time to the laterally protruding actuating projection 10a of the latching pawl 10. Thereby, the latching pawl 9 simultaneously gives the latching 1a and the latching pawl 10 Rest 2a free.

A manual tensioner lock with the tensioning slide 12 on the box disc 11 was selected as an exemplary embodiment. However, the invention can also be used with other clamping types, e.g. Self-tightening. This also applies to weapons with e.g. three runs, in which case an additional switching device to be operated from the outside is to be provided.
