Description

The invention is directed to a set for combing rollers, in particular for wool and cotton combing machines, comprising a plurality of sawtooth stampings arranged axially next to one another in the form of bars.

Combing rollers are garnished either with needles or, alternatively, more recently with sawtooth wires or punched parts.

In the case of the needle sets that used to be common in the past, the loose needles were soldered onto so-called barrettes. The needles were set in so-called engravings, matched tip to tip and then attached to the barrels with solder. The needles of each Barrette were set to a certain density. The density is the distance in the longitudinal direction between to understand the needle tips. In general, the first row of needles was set with four needles per cm, ie the axial distance between the needle tips was 2.5 mm. In the second Barrett seen in the combing direction, the needles were arranged in the longitudinal direction with six needles per cm. The tip spacing of the needles decreased accordingly from Barrett to Barrett. In the last row of needles, for example, the needles were already set with a density of 32 needles per cm. With this arrangement, gentle combing of the wool or cotton fibers was achieved. It was also achieved by this technique that the fiber fleece was cleaned of the impurities.

With an improvement in the combing machines in terms of combing play per minute and with an increase in the amount of combed material, the susceptible needle tips became too stressed, so that more and more sawtooth sets were used. These trimmings were usually made from an endless so-called scratch wire. The individual teeth on this scratch wire were identical to one another due to the manufacturing process. Certain lengths were cut from this scraping wire and bent with a radius corresponding to the combing roller and applied lengthwise alongside one another to the combing rollers. The tip spacing in the longitudinal direction, ie in the direction parallel to the axis of rotation of the combing roller, was determined by the thickness of the scraping wire used. This type of garnishing had the advantage over needle garnishing that the service life was increased considerably. The disadvantage of such a garnish is however, in that from the first row of tips to the last row of tips, the tip spacing was radially the same, so that it had to be accepted that the penetration of the first row of tips was not gentle enough because the density of the axial tip spacing had to be designed in this way, that in any case a good combing was achieved. This leads to fiber tears and not optimal combing of the fiber beard.

In order to achieve an improvement here, it is also known to divide the garnish into sub-segments, with the tip spacing in the longitudinal direction of the bar decreasing from the sub-segment to the sub-segment towards the rear in the combing direction. However, this did not achieve the peak density of needle sets with four needles per cm because the scratch wire could not be made sufficiently thin.

From DE-GM 84 3o 562 a generic set is known, in which the sawtooth set is formed by individual sawtooth punched parts, which are arranged next to one another and combined in the form of bars. In order to improve the penetration behavior of the teeth of these sawtooth punched parts into the fiber beard, it is already known from this publication to design the individual teeth of a punched part differently from one another in such a way that the tip height, the tip spacing within the punched part and the flank pressure angle decrease in relation to the combing direction. This has already achieved a significant improvement in the intervention behavior, However, it has not yet been possible to optimally reconcile the long service lives of such sets with the advantageous engagement behavior known from needle sets.

Proceeding from this, the object of the invention is to design a clothing of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that the behavior of the clothing in the fiber beard is improved as much as possible with a high quality of combing.

This object is achieved in that saw tooth punched parts are arranged with a different number of tips per stamped part within a bar. This makes it possible to increase the tip density from the front row of tips as seen in the combing direction, so that in this way a gentle and gentle intervention while avoiding fiber tears can be combined with a tip density sufficient to achieve an excellent combing effect.

This is advantageously realized in such a way that the stamped parts of a bolt have the same basic geometry, with a different number of teeth being provided starting from the front end viewed in the combing direction. In other words, the envisaged different number of teeth is not realized by distributing the teeth evenly over the length of each stamped part, but by a certain number of the front ones Leaves teeth so that only the smooth, continuous foot part remains in this area.

It is advantageously provided that the peak distribution within a bar is repeated periodically after every m stamped parts. This means that the foremost tips together with the following tips have an even, e.g. Form a V-shaped, periodic structure.

In particular, it can be provided that saw tooth punched parts with n-1, adjacent to these saw tooth punched parts with n-2 teeth, etc. are arranged within a period adjacent to a punched part with a maximum number of n teeth. It is hereby achieved that the tip density increases from the rows of teeth lying at the front in the combing direction to the rear. Of course, the difference in the number of teeth of adjacent stamped parts can also be greater than 1 or change progressively from front to back.

Advantageously, known spacer disks can be arranged between the individual sawtooth punched parts in order in this way to set a tip distance adapted to a specific combing task.

The above-mentioned basic geometry of each individual sawtooth stamped part is advantageously designed in a manner known per se such that the tip height, the tip spacing and the flank pressure angle of the teeth of this stamped part decrease in the combing direction as seen to the rear. The connection of these for seen very favorable basic geometry with an arrangement according to the invention brings particularly excellent combing results.

  • 2 shows a section along the line AA in FIG. 1 of a stamped part,
  • 3 is a perspective view of the stamped parts shown in FIG. 1 strung together as a section of a bolt,

  • 5 shows a section along the line BB in FIG. 4,

The sawtooth stamped parts 1 shown in FIG. 1 all have the same basic shape, ie they are provided with a foot part 2 and a plurality of teeth 3, the teeth 3 being designed such that, when viewed in the combing direction (arrow 4), the teeth at the front end 5 of the stamped part 1 have a larger tip height H and a larger tip distance D.

Accordingly, the different stamped parts 1 differ only in that, by omitting the foremost tooth 3 starting from the stamped part 1A with n teeth, the stamped part 1B n-1, the stamped part 1C n-2, the stamped part 1D n-3 and the stamped part 1E has n-4 teeth.

In the exemplary embodiment, these five different stamped parts are drawn up side by side to form a bar 6, shown in detail in FIG. 3, parallel to the axis of rotation of the combing roller to be garnished, so that, starting from a stamped part 1A with a maximum number of teeth, stamped parts 1 with a decreasing number of teeth follow until the stamped part 1E with minimum number of teeth is reached, with a stamped part with one more tooth etc. then being lined up until a stamped part 1A with a maximum number of teeth is reached again. In this way, there is a periodic repetition after every m-th stamped part, m = 8 in the exemplary embodiment.

A stamped part 1 shown in cross section in FIG. 2 has a width S. In the first row of laces (first column) there are two in a row adjacent teeth 3 a distance of Sx16, in the second row (second column) a distance of Sx8, in the third row (third column) a distance of Sx4, in the fourth row (fourth column) a distance of Sx2 and in the fifth row (fifth column) and in all subsequent rows there is a distance S corresponding to the width of a stamped part 1. This creates a configuration in which, at the front end 5 of the latch 6, individual teeth 3 initially project in a V-shape, the tip density increasing further to the rear. In this way, a gentle immersion of the garnish of the bars, which are preferably attached to circular comb segments, can be achieved in the fiber beard. The percentage rate of combing is significantly increased by this gentle combing, as tests show. Above all, however, it is important that the following comb segments can be made finer again by this configuration, so that a more effective, clean combing of the beard is possible.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 7, the basic structure is similar, but there are spacers 7 with a cross-sectional width S 1, as shown in FIG. 5, inserted between the individual saw tooth punched parts 1.

For the sawtooth stamped parts 1, e.g. enables a cross-sectional width of 0.3 mm. This dimension is dimensioned depending on the use for wool or cotton, whereby further variations are possible due to the spacers.
