Definitions

  • the continuous auger is generally driven in a combined movement of rotation-translation by means of a rotary motor which can itself move parallel to the axis of the pile being produced all along a slide mounted on a frame constituting the general framework of the pile machine.
  • a first phase (drilling phase) the downward translation-translation of the drilling motor is maintained, in general, substantially less than the value corresponding to the direct screwing of the auger, taking account of the pitch of the latter, thus causing shearing from the ground along the auger envelope surface and some upward circulation of the material loading the turns.
  • the continuous auger is extracted without rotation by an upward translational movement of the drilling head, at the same time as concrete is pressurized by means of '' a pump so as to concrete the drilled hole as the auger is removed.
  • the concrete is brought into the conduit formed by the hollow barrel of the auger, through an injection head mounted, via a rotary connector, either directly on the hollow hollow spindle of the drilling motor, or in the case of a full spindle, laterally under the motor nose, at the head of the tool line.
  • the fundamental condition for the correct realization of a pile by the hollow auger process is that of the absolute maintenance of the concreting continuity and as a result of the general pipe formed by the hollow barrel of the continuous auger.
  • This fundamental subjection therefore requires the use of a continuous auger of length at least equal to that of the pile to be produced, implemented in a single piece and requiring, consequently, a guide slide of the drilling motor of corresponding useful length. .
  • the present invention aims to put an end to the evolution towards gigantism of the material necessary for the realization of piles molded in the ground of great length and provides for this purpose, a device allowing the use of a continuous auger comprising of joinable elements during work and to avoid breaking the continuity of the concreting line.
  • the device comprises a tool line which can be rotated by a motor 6 with a hollow shaft which can be slid on a slide 16 mounted on a vehicle 17 to impart a movement of translation to the tool line.
  • the hollow internal element (FIGS. 4 and 5) or driving element, is a hollow tube 4 of polygonal external section (square for example) which can be secured to the upper part of the hollow barrel 2 of the lower auger section.
  • the lower part of the inner element 4 and the upper part of the hollow barrel 2 may have a frustoconical assembly profile, as shown.
  • This internal element has a length L / 2 increased by the length necessary for the crossing of the hollow shaft 5 of the rotation and translation motor 6 and for the mounting at its upper end of the rotary connector 7 for the concrete supply 8 .
  • the external element (FIGS. 6 and 7) is a hollow auger section 10 of length L / 2, the hollow shaft 11 of which has an internal section which closely follows the polygonal external section of the hollow internal driving element and whose the propeller is identical to that of the lower auger section.
  • the barrel 11 and the propeller of the upper hollow auger section 10 are interrupted vertically over a width allowing just the passage of the hollow internal drive element 4.
  • the device which has just been described has a discontinuity at the level of each turn of the upper continuous auger section, so as to allow passage for the hollow internal drive element.
  • This continuity solution is, geometrically, only of relatively small importance (8% of the arc for an auger of 60 cm in diameter and a square internal element of 15 cm side) and has no influence in the general case on drilling and concreting operations on the pile.
  • element 19 any other equivalent means could be used (movable flaps, articulated or not, etc. ).
  • the slide 16 of the pile machine 17 is dimensioned so as to be able to absorb the maximum torque of the motor. It is extended over a certain length by an auxiliary dart 18 whose role is to limit the deflections of the hollow internal drive element during drilling and concreting operations.
  • FIGS. 20 to 26 illustrate a variant of the device of the invention according to which the hollow internal element of the upper part of the tool is mounted telescopically inside the hollow barrel of the lower auger section.
  • references identical to those of Figures 1 to 7 are used to designate similar component parts.
  • the inner hollow element of the upper part is a hollow tube 4 of polygonal outer section (square for example) matching the shape of the inner section of the hollow barrel 2 of the lower auger section so as to allow it to slide freely inside the latter.
  • An O-ring 21 mounted on the hollow inner member ensures sealing with the auger barrel at the time of concrete delivery.
  • the inner member has a length l2 of the increased length is necessary for the recovery hollow barrel inner member of the lower auger section, and the length required for connection with the supply of concrete 9.
  • the external element is a hollow auger section 10 identical to that of the previous embodiment and of length l2, except that it includes, at its top, a flange 22.
  • the motor 6 is integral with the upper end of the hollow telescopic inner element 4 of the upper part and is lockable on the head of the lower auger section.
  • the drilling motor is at the top of the slide 16 of useful length l1.
  • the tool line is formed, under the drilling motor 6 by the continuous auger section and by the hollow internal drive element engaged inside the barrel of the auger section over the entire height of the latter.
  • the base of the drilling motor is equipped with a mandrel 15 with hydraulic or mechanical tightening allowing, by locking on the flange 13 of the barrel of the lower auger section, to exert an axial tensile, retaining or pushing force on the line. of tool.
  • the lower auger section having been introduced into rotation in the ground, the motor chuck is unlocked and the drilling motor reassembled at the head of the slide, deploying the hollow internal element over the entire its useful length l2 by the sliding of the latter in the barrel of the auger.
  • the upper auger section is then fitted onto the hollow internal element deployed and locked in position by the flange 13 and the mandrel 15 of the drilling motor is locked on a flange 22 provided at the top of the barrel of the upper auger section.
  • the pile drilling is completed.
  • the above variant of the device of the invention overcomes the presence of the dart 18 as an extension of the drilling slide.
