Abstract
Description
FR-A-2 598027).The present invention relates to a protected reversing contactor using a multifunctional transmission system for controlling confirmation switches (see for example FR-A-2 598027).
In general, it is known that this type of reversing contactor usually comprises, inside a general housing, two identical contactor systems comprising two electromagnets, the armatures of which actuate two sets of respective phase switches, the inputs and outputs of which are respectively interconnected by means of two interconnection circuits.
The general principle of such a reversing contactor is well known and will therefore not be explained in detail, it being understood that in service only one of the two electromagnets is excited, the reversal being obtained by interrupting the supply of the electromagnet who was excited and feeding the other who was previously at rest.
The protection of these reversing contactors against overcurrents and prolonged overloads is ensured using a general protection circuit including a magnetic protection device using, for each phase switch, a magnetic trip device whose coil passes through the current passing through this switch, and a thermal protection device using bimetallic strips mounted in the phase circuits located downstream of the output interconnection circuit. Generally, these two protection devices act in such a way as to cause a sudden opening of all the phase switches by means of a triggering mechanism at potential energy, following one of the two anomalies of the current previously. mentioned.
Furthermore, these reversing contactors are fitted with a mechanical interlocking system preventing the simultaneous closing of the phase switches which would lead, due to the interconnection circuits, to a general short circuit in the sector.
This protection is also supplemented, in certain cases, by the use of confirmation switches mounted in series in the supply circuit of the coils of the two electromagnets and which are actuated so as to cut off the supply circuit. of the electromagnet which is not excited, and thus prohibit any possibility of simultaneous excitation of the two electromagnets, for example following an erroneous command.
The invention relates more particularly to a reversing contactor of this kind in which the actuation of the confirmation switches is effected by means of a multifunctional transmission system which can provide, in addition to the confirmation function, other safety functions having for effect of opening one or both confirmation switches.
- d'un bras radial conçu de manière à pouvoir être entraîné en rotation, dans un sens, par l'armature d'un électroaimant correspondant ;
- a radial arm designed so that it can be rotated in one direction by the armature of a corresponding electromagnet;
- a first finger or the like which extends radially projecting so as to cooperate with the confirmation switch of the other electromagnet, to open this confirmation switch, at the end of the rotation stroke in said direction; and
- at least one second finger or the like which extends radially projecting so as to be able to be driven in said direction by an actuating member of a protection device.
According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, the two electromagnets are arranged side by side and have two respective armatures movable in translation parallel to a determined direction.
In this case, the two rotary shafts are oriented perpendicular to said direction and are arranged opposite these two frames. The confirmation switch associated with each of these electromagnets is located in a region adjacent to this electromagnet and to a corresponding rotary shaft, so that it can be actuated by a finger of this shaft.
For this purpose, one of the rotary shafts comprises an axial extension which overlaps the second rotary shaft as far as an area located beyond the arm carried by this second shaft. The arm associated with the first rotary shaft is then carried by the free end of the above-mentioned extension. This arrangement makes it possible for the arm secured to a rotary shaft situated on the side of one of the electromagnets to cooperate with the armature of the other electromagnet.
Advantageously, each confirmation switch may comprise a fixed contact element carried by the carcass of the coil of the electromagnet which is associated with it, and a movable contact element constituted by a flexible blade whose first end cooperates with the element of fixed contact and the second end of which is fixedly mounted on a cover of the housing, so that the extraction of said cover involves opening the supply circuit of said coil. The first end of this flexible blade extends slightly beyond the fixed contact element, so as to be able to cooperate with one of the above first fingers.
In addition, the aforesaid second fingers may be arranged in the vicinity of one another so as to be urged by a common actuating member provided to effect the simultaneous opening of the two confirmation switches.

According to the block diagram shown in FIG. 1, the protected reversing contactor comprises, inside a
On the upstream side of the RST network, these
This general protection circuit comprises, in series between each
These triggers, both thermal 34, 35, 36, and magnetic 30a, 30b, 30c, act (links L₁, L₂) on the triggering member 37 'of a spring-loaded
Finally, it will be noted that the
Of course, like conventional reversing contactors, a mechanical locking device 41 acting on the armatures 6, 7 of the
This locking is also doubled by an electromechanical locking involving two mechanical connections 42, 43 each connecting the armature 6, 7 of one of the

The direct switching control device M₂ is housed in a box of parallelepiped shape having an open side situated opposite the
Advantageously, the
As can be seen in FIGS. 4 and 5, each of these
The free end of the horizontal bar of the
It is clear that in the de-energized state of an
On the other hand, when this electromagnet is excited, it causes the
As previously mentioned, this excitation can be produced by a remote control circuit which is connected to the supply terminals of the coils of the two electromagnets provided on the cover (at the rate of two terminals B₁, B'₁ - B₂, B ' ₂ by
The two confirmation switches I₁, I₂ associated with the two coils, are arranged laterally with respect to the
It should be noted that in FIG. 2, the confirmation switch I₂ shown is mounted in the power supply circuit of the
- a transmission part T₁, T₂ fixedly mounted on one of the
69, 70 provided on the armature of this electromagnet, this part T₁, T₂ having at least onepins 107, 108 radially projecting from the pin, which moves with the armature in a plane perpendicular to the axis of thearm 69, 70, andpins - a

The
When one, 4, of the two electromagnets is in the de-energized state and the pole switches 9 to 11 which it actuates are therefore open (position shown in FIG. 2) the
In this position, the yoke 72 occupies an inclined position, against the action of the
It is clear that, from the state of the inverter, illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3, the de-excitation of the

- a retracted position which corresponds to the armed state of the trigger module and to the "Stop" and "Auto" positions of the button, position in which this

The second actuator 134 (movable in translation along the double arrow) can also take a rest position (corresponding to the "Auto" position of the button) in which it does not stress the
The triggering

They comprise an actuating member 144 (represented by a pusher) arranged so as to urge the triggering
The electrical connections between the current lines passing through these
