Abstract

In the case of such a reticle for optical sighting devices, a cross-wire part (FT1) inside a frame part (R1) is connected to frame segments (RS). Said frame segments (RS) have perforations (P) which are in alignment with a contact surface (A1) on a web (S1) of an annular carrier part (T1). The contact surface (A1) of the carrier part (T1) is provided with an adhesive (K), which in the event of an increased temperature penetrates through capillary action into the perforations (P), so that the frame segments (RS) bear in a planar fashion on the contact surface (A1). Due to different coefficients of thermal expansion of the carrier part (T1) and of the reticle, the inner cross-wire part (FT1) receives a pretension sufficient to achieve an unchanged flatness in the operating temperature range. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a self-supporting target mark according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such target marks are used for example in riflescopes of firearms.

In the case of an optical target device, the target point of this target device is formed by said target mark, which is arranged in one of the optical focal planes within the target device. This target mark can have a variety of shapes, such as that of a point, a bar or, in the most common form, a crosshair.

From DE-C1-34 43 322 a self-supporting target for optical aiming devices is known, which consists of a frame part and a crosshair part arranged within this frame part; the frame part is attached to a support part by gluing. During this gluing process, however, the frame part must be pressed onto the carrier part in order to ensure that the frame part lies flat on the carrier part. During this pressing process, however, the adhesive can escape via the inner edge of the carrier part, as a result of which the aperture determined by the inner edge of the carrier part can be impaired.

The object of the invention is to simplify the fastening process of the frame part on the carrier part in the case of a self-supporting target mark of the type mentioned in such a way that a flat support on the carrier part is possible without a pressing process.

This object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.

The advantages achieved by the invention are, in particular, that the design of the frame part in the form of separate frame segments enables the frame part to be fastened to the carrier part by means of an adhesive with a flat support without a pressing process.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention can be found in the dependent claims.

Embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail with reference to the drawing.

In Figure 1, a cantilevered target is shown in a plan view, in which a crosshair part FT1 is arranged inside a circular frame part R1, which consists of four separate frame segments RS, each connected to the free ends of the crosshair part FT1. The four frame segments RS are each connected to an external auxiliary frame H1 via tabs L1.

In Figur 2 ist in einem Querschnitt und in Figur 3 in einer Draufsicht ein Trägerteil T1 mit einem umlaufenden Steg S1 dargestellt, der auf seiner Oberfläche eine Auflagefläche A1 für die Auflage der vier Rahmensegmente RS aufweist.FIG. 2 shows in cross section and in FIG. 3 a top view of a carrier part T1 with a circumferential web S1, which has on its surface a support surface A1 for supporting the four frame segments RS.

The frame part R1 is fastened with the four frame segments RS of the target mark in the following way: The bearing surface A1 of the web S1 of the carrier part T1 is pressed onto a thin adhesive layer, not shown, and then into a layer that is not shown centering device clamped. The target mark also placed in this centering device is lowered concentrically onto the adhesive K on the support surface A1 of the carrier part T1. Then the carrier part T1 is removed together with the target from the centering device and brought to an elevated temperature (for example 140 ° C.). At this elevated temperature, the adhesive K becomes so fluid that it penetrates into the perforations P through its surface tension and capillary action, so that the frame segments RS lie flat on the support surface A1 of the carrier part T1. After the adhesive K has hardened, the carrier part T1, together with the target mark attached to the support surface A1, are cooled again to normal temperature. Since the carrier part T1 has a smaller coefficient of thermal expansion than that of the target mark, the target mark experiences sufficient pre-tension in a predetermined operating temperature range in order to hold the self-supporting crosshair part FT1 in one plane. In the perforations P there is a lattice structure, not shown, to increase the capillary action.

After the target has been attached to the carrier part T1, the auxiliary frame H1 with the tabs L1 is removed; For easier removal of this subframe H1, predetermined breaking points B1 are tapered at the connection points between the tabs L1 and the frame segments RS.

In order to rule out breakage of the prestressed crosshair part FT1 due to vibrations during a shooting process, FT1 is between the crosshair part and the frame segments RS are provided with at least one spring element F1, which is verified by a longitudinal slot LS1. The crosshair part FT1 and the frame segments RS are integrally formed together with the spring elements F1.

Instead of an adhesive, a metallic solder can also be used as the fixing agent.
