Description

According to the preamble of claim 1, the invention relates to a tool container consisting of an outer receiving container with a removal opening on one side and at least one tool compartment, which is guided in particular in a displaceable manner.

A generic tool container is known for example from US-A-3 148 923.

A wide variety of tool containers are already known, which are used for storage and for easy storage of tools, especially in the workshop area.

For example, a known, generic tool container is designed in a cabinet-like manner, the receiving container having a front removal opening and a plurality of tool compartments which are arranged one above the other and which can be pulled out of the removal opening and are designed as drawers. On the one hand, it is of decisive disadvantage that, in particular in the event that heavy objects are in the compartments, the entire container is pulled out Subjects can tip over, in particular when the tool container is designed as a tool trolley. In this case, a wall fastening that is possible with stationary tool cabinets is ruled out. On the other hand, access to the individual compartments is also cumbersome, since the respective compartment must first be pulled out of the container. Experience has shown, however, that it often happens that the wrong compartment is pulled out, in which the item you are looking for is not at all. This means that the subjects are usually pulled out briefly one after the other until the correct subject or the desired item is found. This disadvantage could be substantially eliminated by suitable labeling of the tool compartments, but this means that the objects are actually stored correctly according to the labeling or the labeling is always kept up to date. Furthermore, it is also difficult to see, particularly in the front area of the respective tool compartment, since the viewing direction is usually not exactly vertical or perpendicular to the tool compartment. All of this contributes to the fact that the handling of the known tool container is cumbersome.

The invention is therefore based on the object, starting from the described prior art, to provide a tool container which is distinguished by an absolutely secure stability and, in particular with regard to the possibility of accessing and viewing the tool compartment or the compartments, being particularly easy to handle.

According to the invention, this is achieved in that the removal opening of the receptacle is inclined at an angle to the receptacle standing area, and is formed so as to be open at an angle and that the tool compartment is arranged within the receptacle in a plane parallel to the removal opening and has at least one access opening lying in a plane parallel to the removal opening.

According to the invention, the tool compartment consequently always remains within the receptacle, as a result of which the center of gravity of the container also remains within it and consequently the tool container has the desired stability. In addition, viewing and access to the tool compartment and the objects located therein can be taken very well through the inclined removal opening in a direction inclined downwards.

In a particularly advantageous development of the invention, each tool compartment is subdivided into several compartments, preferably in five staggered staggered and successively sub-compartments, the access openings of which are preferably on the same plane parallel to the removal opening. This feature contributes significantly to a particularly clear arrangement of tools within the tool container according to the invention. It is also advantageous if each compartment has a base parallel to the base of the tool container, so that any objects can be stored safely and securely.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, several, preferably three, tool compartments are arranged in different planes one above the other in the receptacle and are individually displaceably guided. It points each tool compartment, preferably viewed in the direction of displacement, has a width which is approximately equal to half the inner width of the receptacle. With this design according to the invention, at least two of the tool compartments can be viewed and accessed at the same time by being moved so that they are arranged side by side. In addition, this allows access to the area underneath the tool compartments, in which, for example, a stationary, further tool compartment is arranged or a storage space is formed, by pushing the displaceable tool compartments into a position that overlaps in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the removal opening .

Due to the good stability of the tool container according to the invention, it is also particularly well suited for training as a tool trolley, in which case wheels are fastened to the receiving container.

Further advantageous design features of the invention are contained in the subclaims and the following description.

Dabei zeigen:

  • Fig. 1 eine Perspektivdarstellung eines erfindungsgemäßen Werkzeugbehältnisses,
The invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing. Show:
  • 1 is a perspective view of a tool container according to the invention,
  • Fig. 2 is a vertical cross section through the tool container according to Fig. 1 and
  • Fig. 3 is a side view of an alternative embodiment of the tool container according to the invention.

In the different figures, the same parts are always designated with the same reference numerals.

In the drawing, a tool container 2 according to the invention is shown by way of example as a tool trolley with wheels 3, but the invention is in no way limited to this, but also comprises a stationary container to be set up in a stationary manner. The tool container 2 has an outer receiving container 4 with a removal opening 6 on one side and at least one tool compartment 8.

According to the invention, the removal opening 6 of the receptacle 4 is inclined to a container standing surface 10 (indicated by a dash-dot line in FIG. 1) and is designed to be open at an angle upwards. It is particularly advantageous if, as can be seen from FIG. 1, the removal opening 6 lies in a plane 12 which, with the standing surface 10, forms an acute angle of preferably approximately 45 °. Furthermore, according to the invention the tool compartment 8, in the exemplary embodiment shown each of three tool compartments 8 arranged one above the other in different levels, is arranged within the receiving container 4 in a plane parallel to the removal opening 6 or to the level 12 and has at least one in one to the removal opening 6 or access level 16 lying parallel to level 12, level 14 (see in particular FIG. 2).

The receptacle 4 preferably consists of a bottom wall 18 parallel to the standing surface 10, a rear wall 20 perpendicular to this and two side walls 22 perpendicular to the bottom and rear walls 18, 20. One adjoins the bottom wall 18 and the two side walls 22 to the plane 12 the removal opening 6 essentially perpendicular and therefore from the removal opening 6 from obliquely downward, lower guide wall 24 on. Analogously to this, the rear wall 20 and the two side walls 22 are adjoined by an upper wall 26 which is opposite the lower guide wall 24 and likewise essentially perpendicular to the plane 12 of the removal opening 6 and runs obliquely downwards from the removal opening 6. Thus, the removal opening 6 is practically delimited by oblique edges 28 of the side walls 22 and by edges of the lower guide wall 24 and the upper wall 26. As can be seen in FIG. 1, handles 30 can be fastened to the side walls 22.

In the particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention shown, the or each tool compartment 8 is designed in a step-like manner and for this purpose is divided into several, preferably five, staggered partial compartments 34 via intermediate walls 32, the access openings 16 of which preferably lie together on the same level 14 . Each compartment 34 advantageously has, at least in some areas, a base 36 which is parallel to the base 10. As can be seen particularly from FIG. 2, the base 36 of each compartment 34 is connected on the one hand to the base 36, but preferably somewhat in the direction of the removal opening 6 forward inclined intermediate wall 32 and on the other hand an inclined wall 38 running parallel to the plane 14 of the access openings 16, which merges again into the next intermediate wall 32 via a wall section 40 arranged perpendicular to the plane 14. Instead of the “intermediate” wall, the lowermost compartment 34 has an end wall 32a adjacent to the bottom 36 and, according to the invention, arranged perpendicular to the plane 12 of the removal opening 6. The purpose of this configuration is explained in more detail below.

As mentioned above, are particularly advantageous Embodiment of the invention in the receptacle 4, preferably three tool compartments 8 arranged in different planes one above the other or one behind the other and individually displaceably guided in a lateral direction parallel to the base 10, ie in the direction of the double arrow 42 in FIG. 1. For this purpose, each of the displaceable tool compartments 8, viewed in the displacement direction, is designed to be considerably narrower than the inside width of the receptacle 4, ie the clear distance between the side walls 22. It is particularly advantageous if the width of the tool compartment 8 is <half the inside width of the receptacle 4. This configuration allows the tool compartments 8 to be shifted in such a way that two tool compartments 8 are arranged side by side. In addition, it is also possible to push all tool compartments 8 one above the other in alignment in a direction perpendicular to the removal opening 6 (see FIG. 2), so that the area of the receptacle 4 below the compartments 8 is laterally next to the compartments 8 or on the compartments 8 past is also accessible.

In Fig. 2 it can be seen that each tool compartment 8 is guided according to the invention in its upper and lower edge region via roller bearing guides 44 in the receiving container 4. For this purpose, there is an upper guide wall 46 within the receptacle 4 in the area of the upper wall 26. This upper guide wall 46, like the lower guide wall 24, is designed in a step-like manner, the roller bearing guides 44 each being fastened to steps of the guide walls 24, 46. The roller bearing guides 44, on the other hand, are also fastened to the tool compartment 8, specifically via retaining tabs 47a in the region of the wall section 40 of the upper partial compartment 34 and via retaining tabs 47b in the angular region between the bottom 36 and the end wall 32a of the lower partial compartment 34 Already described arrangement of the end wall 32a of the lower compartment 34 approximately perpendicular to the removal opening 6, the lower bearing guide 44 is advantageously covered so that no objects can get into the area of the bearing guide 44.

Due to the illustrated and described design of the tool container 2 according to the invention, a storage space 48 results in the area lying obliquely below the tool compartments 8, from the bottom wall 18, the rear wall 20, the two side walls 22 and the tool compartments 8 or the respective lower tool compartment 8 is limited. In addition to the accessibility already described above through the removal opening 6 and past the stacked tool compartments 8, it may additionally be expedient if this storage space 48 is accessible through an opening (not shown) formed in one of the side walls 22.

Zweckmäßigerweise besitzt der Rolladen 52 hierfür einen Griff 56.It is furthermore advantageous if the removal opening 6 of the receptacle 4 can be closed by a roller shutter 52 which is displaceably guided in lateral guides 50 (FIGS. 1 and 2). The guides 50 are preferably designed as lateral, mutually facing guide grooves which run along the edge regions of the side walls 22 which adjoin the removal opening 6, the upper wall 26 and the rear wall 20 (see FIG. 2). As a result, the roller shutter 52 can be moved in the direction of the double arrow 54 to close or open the removal opening 6. The roller shutter 52 expediently has a handle 56 for this.

In the exemplary embodiment shown, the receptacle 4 is fastened to a lower storage plate 60 via lateral supports 58. When running as a tool trolley, the wheels 3 are on the underside 62 of the lower shelf 60 attached.

It is also advantageous if - see FIGS. 1 and 2 - the receptacle 4 carries in its upper region an upper storage plate 64 which is pivotably mounted about an axis parallel to the standing surface 10. This upper storage plate can be trough-shaped with a peripheral edge to form at least one storage compartment that is open at the top. The upper storage plate 64 is preferably mounted between two projections 66 of the side walls 22 formed in the corner region between the removal opening 6 and the upper wall 26, so that it can be pivoted in the direction of the arrows 68. In a storage position, it can be arranged approximately parallel to the standing surface 10, and in a transport position, the storage plate 64 can at least partially rest approximately parallel on the upper wall 26 of the receptacle 4, which is advantageous for the purpose of transport. In addition, the upper storage plate 64 can have, on its underside facing the receiving container 4, hinged supports 70 which fold down in the storage position of the storage plate 64 and come to the task on the upper wall 26, whereby the storage plate 64 is supported. This means that even heavy objects can be stored safely.

In an alternative embodiment of the tool container 2 according to the invention shown in FIG. 3, the receptacle has, instead of the upper storage plate 64 and instead of the roller shutter 52, an upper storage plate 64a, which according to the invention is mounted on two pivotable side brackets 72 in such a way that it is shown in one in FIG Storage position is arranged approximately parallel to the standing surface 10, rests in its front area on the receptacle 4 and is supported in its rear area via the side bracket 72, and that it is in a closed position closes the removal opening 6 by moving or pivoting in the direction of the double arrows 74 shown in FIG. 3, forming a cover. This closed position is shown in dashed lines in Fig. 3. The side brackets 72 are each pivotably mounted in the lower region, in particular in the region of the side walls 22 in or on the receptacle 4. The side brackets 72 are also each pivotally connected to the storage plate 64a in their upper region, in each case in the rear region of their side walls. It is advantageous if the storage plate 64a can be locked in both positions and preferably locked in the closed position by means of a lock 76 indicated by dashed lines. The locking can take place in that the storage plate 64a has on its underside two locking pins 78 (shown in dashed lines) which releasably engage in corresponding locking openings of the receptacle 4. The side brackets 72 which run in the form of a side view in the illustrated embodiment advantageously form handles by means of which the tool container 2 according to the invention can be handled, in particular in the form of a tool trolley. In their lower region, which is mounted in or on the receiving container 4, the side brackets 72 can be connected to one another in one piece via a cross connection, in which case this cross connection (not shown) extends in particular through the receiving container 4. The storage plate 64a preferably has a non-slip layer on its flat upper side, in particular a corrugated rubber mat, on which objects can be placed securely.
