Auf diese Weise läßt sich eine kurz bauende, kompakte Anordnung erzielen, und da die aus Steuereinrichtung 22 und Sensoreinrichtung 31 bestehende Untereinheit der Arbeitseinheit in Längsrichtung des Linearmotors 2 von der Arbeitsseite 18 aus gesehen vom Motorgehäuse 3 praktisch vollständig abgedeckt ist, liegt gleichzeitig eine schlanke, nach außen hin unzerklüftete Anordnung vor. Dies erleichtert die Montage erheblich. Sie stehen über die Kabel 23 bzw. Zuleitungen 24 in dauernder Verbindung mit den entsprechenden Stellen der beiden Einrichtungen 22, 31 und erlauben von außen her der Anschluß externer Leitungen 49, die zur Druckmittelquelle 25, Druckmittelsenke 26 oder z.B. einer elektronischen Steuereinheit 48 (gestrichelt angedeutet) führen können. Die Ausbildung als Anschlußeinheit gestattet es, die Leitungen 49 im Rahmen zentraler Steckverbindungen schnell lösbar anzukuppeln, wobei z.B. sogenannte pneumatische und/oder elektrische Multipolsteckereinrichtungen Verwendung finden können. Der Anschluß an einen Bus ist somit problemlos möglich. Gemäß Fig. 1, 2 und 4 sind drei Ebenen vorhanden, wobei die erste Ebene vom Linearmotor 2, dem Aktor, repräsentiert wird, die zweite Ebene durch die aus Steuereinrichtung (Prozessor) und Sensoreinrichtung bestehende Untereinheit und die dritte Ebene von der Ebene der Anschlußmöglichkeiten 47, der Busebene. Claims (12)

  1.   5. Linear drive assembly according to any of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that sub-unit containing the control element (22) and sensor device (31) is completely covered by the motor housing (3), viewed in the longitudinal direction (5) of the linear motor (2) from the operating side (18).
  6. Linear drive assembly according to any of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the control element (22) and the sensor device (31) are accommodated in a common equipment housing (37, 37').
  7. Linear drive assembly according to claim 6, characterized in that the equipment housing is formed at least partially by the motor housing.
  8. Linear drive assembly according to claim 6, characterized in that the equipment housing (37) is firmly but releasably secured to the motor housing (3) on the control side (28) of the linear motor (2), e.g. by a bolted connection (38) in the form of a flanged connection.
  9. Linear drive assembly according to any of claims 6 to 8, characterized in that the motor housing (3) and the control element (22) together with the sensor device (31) are accommodated in a common encasing housing (40), whereby the two elements (22, 31) can also be mounted in an equipment housing located inside the encasing housing (40).
  10. Linear drive assembly according to any of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the sensor device (31) has one or more sensors (32), expediently adjustable in the direction of movement of the switch rod (34), in particular in the form of a non-contacting proximity sensor responding to the switch section (33).
