Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a multi-part propellant charge sleeve consisting of a sleeve shaft and a sleeve stub, the sleeve bottom of the sleeve stub being provided with an ejector shoulder arranged on its circumference, and wherein a circumferential elastic sealing lip is attached to the tubular piece of the sleeve stub.
Weitere Komponenten der Treibladungshülse, wie der verbrennbare Hülsenschaft oder das Zündschraubenlager, zeigt die OS 26 41 665.OS 23 03 790 discloses a propellant charge sleeve with a reusable metallic sleeve stub and an elastic sealing lip connected in the manner of a push button in the extension of the sleeve stub. OS 26 41 665 shows other components of the propellant charge sleeve, such as the combustible sleeve shaft or the ignition screw bearing.
When shooting, the sleeve stub expands due to the high pressure splashes that occur in the barrel. The resulting cracks can be seen mainly in the sharp transitions of the ejector heel, as well as in the push-button-like sealing lip seat.
The expensive, machining of the sleeve stub takes place by turning off the surface which is at risk from the cracks. The cracks on the notched ejector heel prove critical. Due to the necessary machining in the form of a recess provided with radii, the sleeve base is weakened. This means that a maximum of only two treatments are possible. In addition to cracking, there is also damage to the ejector heel when the sleeve stub is ejected from the barrel.
The invention has for its object to enable frequent reuse of the expensive sleeve stub with little reprocessing.
This object is achieved according to the invention by the following features:
a rotationally symmetrical molded part is attached to the sleeve stub, the molded part at least partially forms the ejector shoulder,
- The surface of the sleeve stub connected to the molded part is rounded and smooth, at least on highly stressed surfaces.
The advantages achieved by the invention are, in particular, that no cracks occur on the ejector shoulder of the sleeve stub, since the rotationally symmetrical molded part forms the notched, crack-sensitive ejector heel and the sleeve stub is rounded and smooth in this area and is therefore insensitive to cracking. This eliminates the need for expensive machining in the form of a recess and consequently the weakening of the sleeve base, which increases the number of treatments. Damage when the sleeve stub is ejected from the weapon barrel only occurs in the molded part, which is no longer reused.
According to various configurations of the inventions
additionally at least partially line the molded part of the outer circumferential surface of the pipe section,
the molded part additionally lines the outer lateral surface of the pipe section and at least partially the circular end face of the pipe section and the inner lateral surface of the pipe section,
- The molded part additionally line the outer surface of the pipe section and be extended as a sleeve shaft.
The lining initially protects the stub sleeve from damage and furthermore, when the inner lateral surface of the pipe section is lined, from thermal stress.
An advantageous development of the above-mentioned configurations is shown when the elastic sealing lip is attached to the molded part. This eliminates the expensive machining on the push-button-like sealing lip seat of the stub sleeve. Furthermore, the assembly of the sealing lip during vulcanization on the molded part is simplified, since it is easy, handy and quick to heat.
Dimensioning the sleeve stub against plastic deformation further simplifies the reworking of the stub sleeve, since there is no machining and only cleaning and checking before re-use is necessary.

A multi-part propellant charge sleeve consisting of a sleeve shaft and a sleeve stub, the sleeve base of the sleeve stub being provided with an ejector shoulder arranged all around on its circumference, and wherein a circumferential elastic sealing lip is attached to the tubular piece of the sleeve stub is described below:
According to FIGS. 1-7, a rotationally symmetrical molded
The exemplary embodiments shown in FIG. 1 and in FIG. 2 are well suited to increasing the number of reprocessing of the
Fig. 1 to Fig. 4 show variations of the
The sealing between molded
