Description

The invention relates to gloves with an air-impermeable or only slightly air-permeable outer skin
Frequently, you come into direct or indirect contact with breathable or weak breathable materials, which leads to the formation of sweat moisture at the corresponding part of the body.

This also applies to gloves with a waterproof and airtight outer layer. Such gloves are usually lined with a textile lining. From the document US-A-4,156,753, which shows the generic state of the art, a work glove is known, which is made of a material that consists of a PVC film, on the inside of which a fabric is applied, which consists of a with a water-repellent layer of coated yarn.

If the outer layer of the glove is not permeable to air and water, the moisture cannot escape to the outside, but is absorbed by the lining. As the lining is not ventilated due to the air impermeability of the outer layer of the glove, the lining cannot dry but becomes sweaty, which leads to an uncomfortable feeling and causes a feeling of cold.

More recently, water-impermeable and water-vapor-permeable microporous functional layers have been increasingly used in the textile industry waterproof, yet breathable garments are used. In recent times, there has also been a move toward lining gloves with an essentially water-permeable and air-permeable outer skin with such a functional layer. Such a functional layer opens up the possibility that hand moisture can be dissipated through the functional layer.

However, if there is only air-impermeable outer skin material beyond the functional layer, this moisture can no longer be carried forward and thus builds up, which can lead to the hand moisture not being carried away from the hand.

The object of the invention is to provide a glove with an air-impermeable or only slightly air-permeable outer skin which does not have the disadvantages which occur in the prior art or only has them to a significantly reduced extent.

The object is achieved by a glove with the features specified in claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention can be found in subclaims 2 to 10.

If, according to the invention, the glove is lined with a microporous functional layer, and if ventilation layer material is arranged between the side of the functional layer facing away from the hand and the air-impermeable or weakly air-permeable outer material, then the air supply becomes the outside of the functional layer allows and due to the ventilation effect, the hand moisture dissipated.

Because this ventilation layer material, which has become known from GB-A-102632, has air ducts which are conductive in the longitudinal direction and associated air ducts which reach in the transverse direction up to at least one of its surfaces, air can reach all areas lined with the ventilation layer material. This can evaporate and dissipate sweat moisture. The ventilation effect is generally increased by the fact that the glove provided with the ventilation layer material is moved frequently during its use, which results in a pumping effect in the ventilation layer material leads, through which the ventilation behavior is increased.

The orientation of the ventilation layer material is such that the longitudinal air guide channels are directed towards the open end of the glove.

The ventilation layer material can be structured completely differently, for example open-pore (claim 4), rib-like (claim 5), nubbed (claim 7), provided with webs (claim 6), mesh-like three-dimensional (claim 8) or the like. It is only important that longitudinal air guiding channels and transverse air guiding channels connected to them are formed up to at least one surface.

Possible uses of the ventilation layer material according to the invention are in particular ski, work, motorcycle and similar gloves.

In the case of gloves, it can already lead to a considerable improvement in the load-bearing capacity if they are only partially lined with the ventilation layer material, for example and preferably in the area of the fingers.

In addition to the ventilation effect, the ventilation layer material has other advantages. One such advantage is the cushioning effect, which can be very pleasant, for example in the case of ski gloves. Another advantage is the achievement of flexible stiffening to prevent lumpiness.

To a certain extent, the ventilation layer material should be pressure-stable. That means it should be with the The pressure load that occurs during normal use of the glove provided with the ventilation layer material does not lose its ventilation function. This means that at such a normal loading pressure the air ducts should retain their shape to such an extent that they can still conduct sufficient ventilation air.

The ventilation layer material can be made of a suitable plastic. Examples include polyamide, polypropylene and polyester, in monofilament or multifilament form, woven or knitted, or in the form of reticulated foam made from such a material.

The invention will now be explained in more detail using an embodiment of a ventilation layer material.

In the figure, an exemplary embodiment of a ventilation layer material is shown in a schematic, greatly enlarged manner. In this case, three delta-shaped bundled longitudinal webs 13 each form a spacer 11. A plurality of spacers 11, which are arranged essentially parallel and at a distance from one another, are on their underside by means of a number of cattle of transverse webs which run transversely with respect to the spacers 11, are spaced apart and essentially parallel to one another 17 connected. The intermediate spaces between each two adjacent spacers 11 form longitudinal air guiding channels 19. Connected therewith are transverse air guiding channels 21, 23, whereby the transverse air guiding channels 23 are likewise formed by the gaps between the spacers 11 and air flowing through the longitudinal air guiding channels 19 to the air in the figure above the Guide spacer 11 located level. The transverse flow guide channels 21 are formed by the spaces between the transverse webs 17 and flow through the longitudinal air guide channels 19 Air to the lower side of the ventilation layer material in the figure. Moisture that forms below or above the ventilation layer material can be removed via the transverse air guide channels 21 or 23 and the longitudinal air guide channels 19.
