Claims (9)

  1. Integrated ignition-transformer assembly for the cylinder of a heat engine having controlled ignition, the assembly being of the type comprising a tubular body (11) delimiting, an internal shoulder (12), mounting means (13) on one side of said shoulder for mounting on the stem of a spark plug (15) and a housing (14) on the other side of said shoulder (15) containing an axially fixed transformer coil which is encapsulated in a dielectric coating and which includes a terminal for making contact with the spark plug;
       characterized in that:
       the means (13) is constituted by disconnectable fixing means for cooperating with the base (17) of an adapted spark plug,
       and said tubular body (11) contains an internal sleeve (32) of dielectric material which extends the transformer coil to the shoulder (12), defining a bore (33) intended to receive, in sealed manner, the stem (16) of the spark plug and in which projects the terminal (30).
  2. Assembly according to claim 1, characterized in that the means (13) and the housing (14) are coaxial on either side of the internal shoulder (12) which constitutes an axial abutment for cooperating with the threaded base of a spark plug.
  3. Assembly according to claim 1, characterized in that the transformer coil (24) and the sleeve (32) constitute an assembly which is put into place inside the tubular body (11) via an open end situated at the opposite end to the means (13) and closed by a sealed stopper (28), thereby axially fixing the coil and providing sealing for the assembly.
  4. Assembly according to claim 3, characterized in that the dielectric coating (25) of the coil and the sleeve (32) in said coil and sleeve assembly (24, 32) are constituted as a single piece.
  5. Assembly according to claim 3, characterized in that the coil and sleeve assembly (24, 32) is made in two pieces, and in that the sleeve (32) is immobilized in abutment against the shoulder (12).
  6. Assembly according to claim 1, 3, 4 or 5, characterized in that in order to make contact with the spark plug, the coil (24) includes a contact terminal (30) which is encapsulated in the dielectric coating (25) which constitutes an end fitting (31) for adapting the sleeve (32).
  7. Assembly according to claim 6, characterized in that the terminal (30) is constituted by a stud (34) which is at least in part resiliently retractable.
  8. Assembly according to claim 1, characterized in that the tubular body (11) is associated with a ring (37) for closing and centering a well in a cylinder head in which the body is mounted.
  9. Assembly according to claims 1 and 3, characterized in that the tubular body (11) and said stopper (28) are made of a material suitable for providing electromagnetic screening.
