Abstract

The invention relates to a seal for segments which are assembled to form a tubular tunnel, each segment having an encircling double- sealing frame of elastomeric material, the double-sealing frame lying on the outside, concentrically or on the inside. The essential feature of this invention consists in the fact that a transverse sealing profile (23) is located as a transverse connection between the two sealing frames (24a, 24b) running in parallel. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a sealing arrangement consisting of segments which are assembled to form a tubular tunnel, each segment having a circumferential double sealing frame made of elastomeric material, the double sealing frame being on the outside, in the middle or on the inside, and a sealing cross profile as a cross connection between the two parallel sealing frames located.

Besonders wirksam hinsichtlich ihrer Dichtfunktion sind Profilbänder, die in Längsrichtung parallel verlaufende Rillennuten und Kanäle besitzen (DE-C-28 33 345, DE-A-35 02 620, EP-A-0 210 326, EP-A-0 222 968, EP-A-0 255 600, EP-A-0 306 796).The sealing frames of a tunnel segment (tubbing) made of concrete, steel, reinforced concrete or cast iron consist of four composite profile strips, the four frame corners preferably being produced by the injection molding process. The profile strips themselves have groove grooves running parallel at least in the longitudinal direction (DE-U-72 03 419, DE-U-72 29 665, DE-U-74 32 945, DE-C-25 13 365). Profile strips which have groove grooves and channels running parallel in the longitudinal direction are particularly effective with regard to their sealing function (DE-C-28 33 345, DE-A-35 02 620, EP-A-0 210 326, EP-A-0 222 968, EP-A-0 255 600, EP-A-0 306 796).

It is often sufficient if each tunnel segment has a sealing frame (variant A). In special circumstances, however, it may be necessary to provide the segments with a double sealing frame (variant B).

Der Querverbindung selbst kommt im wesentlichen keine Dichtfunktion zu.A generic sealing arrangement is known from EP-A-0 103 494, reference being made in particular to FIGS. 10 to 14. The cross-connection is arranged so that the two sealing frames to be connected protrude on both sides (in relation to the cross-connection) in the form of uniform sealing lips, the sealing frames having notches. The cross connection itself has essentially no sealing function.

The object of the invention is now to further develop variant B. In addition to increasing the sealing effect, in particular the faster localization of any leakage that may occur and thus a more cost-effective refurbishment are to be achieved. This task is solved by the characteristic of the only claim.

Fig. 1 shows a segment (1) (e.g. made of concrete) with two circumferential recesses (2, 3) that run parallel. A sealing frame is now inserted into each of these recesses. The sealing cross profile according to the invention is arranged in the transverse joints (4, 5) itself.

Fig. 2 zeigt einen schematischen Lageplan der Querfugen.
Fig. 2 shows a schematic map of the transverse joints. With regard to the segment (1) with the side (6) (width B) and the side (7) (length L), the transverse joints (4, 5) have the following dimensions, the segment corner (8) being the reference point:
Transverse joint (4): 1/2 B
Transverse joint (5): 1/4 L
With regard to the tunnel segments (9, 10, 11, 12, 13) along the ring joint (14), the corresponding transverse joints are arranged analogously.

Fig. 3a now shows the double sealing frame and the sealing cross section along the section line A-A (Fig. 1). Here, the two sealing frames (15a, b) have three uniform groove grooves (16) and two channels (17) and a central elevation (18) in the profile back (EP-A-0 255 600). Between these two sealing frames, the sealing cross profile (19), which consists of a central part (19a) and an outer part (19b), is arranged as a gapless cross connection which adapts to the outer contour of the sealing frame. The elevation (18) and the sealing cross profile (19) merge into one another at the same height. In this way, a broad overall profile back (20) is created. Sealing frame (15a, b) and sealing cross profile (19) are glued, welded or connected to one another in some other way.

(22) aufweisen.Fig. 3b (section BB) and Fig. 3c (section CC) show the sealing cross profile (19) seen in the longitudinal direction, both the central part (19a) and the outer part (19b) having a plurality of groove grooves (21) and (22) .

According to Fig. 4, the sealing cross profile (23) also connects the two sealing frames (24a, b) without gaps, which have three groove grooves and four channels in cross section (DE-A-35 02 620). The sealing cross profile (23) is of the same height as the flat back (25a, b) of the sealing frame. Seen in cross section, the sealing cross profile can have a structure according to FIG. 3b.

Fig. 5 now shows a tunnel tube (26), the smallest unit being the tunnel segment (27) with a width (28) (in the longitudinal direction of the tunnel) and a length (29) (in the transverse direction of the tunnel). The next larger unit is the tunnel ring , being here three tunnel rings (30, 31, 32) are shown. With regard to repair measures, it is sufficient if not every segment, but e.g. B. only the elements of every fifth tunnel ring within the segment width have the sealing cross profile according to the invention. In this way, when moisture penetrates at any point in the tunnel tube, an effective isolation is achieved and the leakage location is thus found more quickly.
