Danach werden die Taschen 3 bei der Hauptprodukteinlage 4 an einem taktgleich angetriebenen Kettenförderer 53 vorbeigeführt, dessen Greifer 54 je einen Druckbogen 31 festhalten und an die Taschen 3 heranführen. Mittels eines Leitbleches 55 werden die in den Greifern hängenden Druckbogen 31 mit dem Falz voraus in die nach aussen offenen Taschen 3 gelenkt. Sind die Druckbogen 31 hinreichend weit in die Taschen 3 eingeschoben, werden sie von den Greifern 54 freigegeben, und fallen mit ihrem Falz voraus auf den Grund der Taschen 3. Erreichen die mit einem Druckbogen gefüllten Taschen 3 danach den höchsten Punkt des Zwillingskettenrades 8, laufen die Nockenrollen 26 und 39 in diesem Bereich auf die ihnen zugeordneten Steuerschienen 27 bzw. 40, wodurch der Anschlagkopf 29 gegen den in der Tasche 3 liegenden Druckbogen 31 und der Gegenhalter 23 mit seiner Gegenhalterfläche 37 gegen den Anschlagkopf 29 geschwenkt wird. Der in der Tasche 3 liegende Druckbogen 31 ist somit an seiner oberen Ecke zwischen dem Anschlagkopf 29 einerseits und der Gegenhalterfläche 37 anderseits eingeklemmt. Anschliessend wird das Öffnungsschwert 41 frei und schnellt unter der Wirkung der Feder 44 in die Arbeitslage. Dabei trennt es mittig die beiden Hälften des in der Tasche 3 befindlichen Druckbogens 31. Kurz nach der Öffnungsstation 5 führen die Steuerschienen 27 und 40 den Anschlag 22 und den Gegenhalter 23 in die Ruhestellung zurück. Nach der Rückkehr des Anschlags 22 und des Gegenhalters 23 verschwenkt die nicht dargestellte Steuerschiene den Niederhalter 18 gegen den oberen Rand der vorangehenden Bogenhälfte des durch das Öffnungsschwert 41 offen gehaltenen Druckbogens 31 und die Feder 21 drückt ihn gegen den oberen, abgewinkelten Taschenrand. Der freie Teil des Druckbogens 31 klappt nun nach hinten und der Druckbogen ist offen für die Aufnahme einer Beilage.The inserting machine described works as follows. Zudem ragen die Hülsen 43 durch Öffnungen 59 im rechten Kettenrad hindurch, deren Durchmesser wesentlich grösser als der Aussendurchmesser der Hülse 43 ist. Wird die Ringscheibe 58 gelöst, kann sie im Rahmen dieser Durchmesserdifferenz um die Drehachse des Zwillingskettenrades 8 relativ zu diesem verdreht und wieder festgestellt werden. Damit ändern sämtliche Öffnungsschwerte 41 ihre relative Lage zu der ihr zugeordneten Tasche 3. Sind nun die Öffnungsschwerte 41 auf die Mitte eines neuen Hauptproduktes zu justieren, genügt es, die Ringscheibe 58 zu lösen, ein einziges Schwert zu zentrieren und die Ringscheibe 58 wieder festzustellen. Claims (9)

1. Insertion machine comprising pockets (3) which are movable along a continuous path and are arranged at regular intervals, along which path there are arranged successively a main product insert (4), at least one supplement insertion station (6) and a removal station (7), means (22, 23, 41, 42) being present for opening printed products (31), situated in the pockets (3), before the supplement insertion station (6), characterised in that such means (22, 23, 41, 42) are arranged, running synchronously in cycles with the pockets (3), before the first supplement insertion station (6) along a portion of the continuous path (1).
2. Insertion machine according to Claim 1 comprising a plurality of supplement insertion stations (6), characterised in that such means (22, 23, 41, 42) are present before at least one of the further supplement insertion stations (6) along a portion of the continuous path (1) and are arranged running synchronously in cycles with the pockets (3).
3. Insertion machine according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the means have a spreading member (41, 42), and in that the position of this spreading member (41, 42) is adjustable in the direction of movement of the pockets (3), all the spreading members (41, 42) preferably being connected to one another and being movable on a closed path.
4. Insertion machine according to Claim 3 or 4, characterised in that the mentioned portion of the continuous path (1) is of arcuate shape.
5. Insertion machine according to Claim 4, characterised in that a wheel (8), also rotating in the same direction, follows the pockets in the region of the portion.
6. Insertion machine according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that centring members (22, 23) are assigned to each pocket on the wheel (8) in the region of the portion.
7. Insertion machine according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that means (47, 48) are present before and/or in the region of the mentioned portion for laterally aligning printed products (31) situated in the pockets (3).
8. Insertion machine according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the pockets (3) are mounted on two parallel, continuous sections (1), and in that the wheel (8) is a drivable twin wheel, over which the sections (1) are guided with positive and/or frictional engagement.
9. Insertion machine according to one of Claims 1 to 8, characterised in that a plurality of pockets (3) is always situated in the region of the portion.
