Abstract

The cupboard or wall unit consists of front and rear posts in the form of a profile made of a lightweight metal alloy, vertical cupboard sides, bearing construction shelves, a rear wall and doors attached to the front and, if appropriate also the rear posts, strips which connect the posts fixedly to one another and to the construction shelves being attached at the front and at the rear edges of the cupboard sides and the construction shelves. The profile of the posts and the strips is identical and has, in total, a rectangular outer contour, two adjacent closed chambers, two opposite grooves, which are open towards the longer rectangular side, on the outsides of the one chamber, and a projecting web on the outside of the second chamber along the narrow rectangular side. The first chamber in the strips serves for receiving and for guiding screw tensioning rods with threaded portions at both ends which are screwed into sleeve nuts, the sleeve length of which is equal to the thickness of the profile and which are inserted from the side of the head of the nuts in each case into a bore-hole of a row of grid bore-holes, passing centrally through the first chamber, of the profile of the posts, whereas the second chamber in the posts serves for receiving height-adjusting screws on the lower ends of the posts. The webs of the profile of the posts serve for connecting said posts to the correspondingly grooved cupboard sides and the webs on the strips serve for connection to the correspondingly grooved construction shelves. The grooves of the rear posts and of the rear strips of the bottom-most and topmost construction shelves serve for the all-round attachment of the rear wall of the cupboard by inserting said rear wall into these grooves. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a cabinet or a wall unit, or the in order to achieve a high stability of front and rear posts in the form of a profile made of a light metal alloy, vertical cabinet sides, load-bearing construction floors (in contrast to loosely inserted shelves), a rear wall and the front, if necessary (in the case of cupboards or cupboard walls accessible from two sides) also hinged rear posts, whereby strips are attached to the front and rear edges of the cabinet sides and the construction floors, which firmly connect the posts to one another and to the construction floors .

A variety of such closet or wall designs are known. Most of these constructions have the defect that the production of their individual parts is complex and therefore expensive and that the number of different, required construction parts is large. In addition, with most cabinets or cabinet walls of this basic concept, cabinet assembly is time-consuming and therefore also expensive.

The object of the invention is to provide a cupboard or wall unit construction which, with simple and therefore correspondingly inexpensive training and production options for the individual components, relatively few different components and with simple, quick and therefore also inexpensive mounting options, offers the greatest flexibility with regard to the dimensions, including Subject number, while maintaining all basic Has design features and components.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the profile of the posts and the strips is identical and an overall rectangular outer contour, two adjacent closed chambers, on the outside of one chamber two opposite, open to the longer side of the rectangle and on the Outside of the second chamber, along the narrow side of the rectangle, has a projecting web, the first chamber in the strips being used for receiving and guiding screw-type tension rods with threaded sections at both ends, which are screwed into sleeve nuts, preferably with internal hexagon, whose sleeve length is equal to the profile thickness and which are inserted from the nut head side into a hole in a row of grid holes of the profile of the posts passing through the middle of the first chamber, while the second chamber in the posts serves to accommodate height adjustment screws at the lower ends of the posts, and where in the case of the webs of the profile of the posts for their connection to the correspondingly grooved cabinet sides and the grooves of the rear posts and the rear strips of the bottom and the top construction floor for all-round fastening of the cabinet back wall by pushing them into these grooves.

Schrankwände von beiden Seiten her zusätzliche Fächer anbauen. As a result of this training, only a single profile is required for the cupboard or for the cupboard wall, pieces of which different lengths have to be cut off, depending on the cupboard height and compartment width. This alone simplifies and reduces the cost of warehousing and the production process. The individual screw tie rods only need to be cut to the width of the desired cabinet compartment and then on both Threads are provided at the ends. As a result of the row of grid holes in the posts, two or more construction shelves can be provided in any position, determined solely by the grid dimension, within the cabinet or the cabinet wall without having to drill in each individual case. A cabinet can be made in any width and number of compartments and of course also single compartment width. Of course, you are completely free to choose the cabinet depth; then only the cabinet sides, the construction shelves and possibly the shelves have to be manufactured to the appropriate depth. The construction shelf and shelf width must of course, as always, be the same as the desired shelf width. You can also change the individual compartments in a different order with existing cabinets or wall units, and you can also add additional compartments to existing cabinets or wall units from both sides. The assembly is very easy and quick to do with the sleeve nuts and with the screw tension rods with their threaded sections at both ends. Since neither parts can be damaged during assembly or disassembly, with reasonably proper work, the cupboard or the cupboard wall can be dismantled and reassembled practically as often as required without any loss of stability for the cupboard or cupboard wall .

The profile for the posts and for the strips is relatively easy to manufacture and not very space-consuming. A particularly easy manufacture results if, in a further embodiment of the invention, the first chamber has a round cross section and the second chamber has an approximately rectangular cross section. This applies to both in particular when the partition between the first and the second chamber protrudes into the second, approximately rectangular chamber in the shape of a part of a circle.

Of course, the screw tensioning rods do not have to be guided over their entire length in the first chambers of the strips. Rather, it is sufficient and is also much cheaper if, according to the invention, elastic end disks with a central opening are firmly inserted into the two ends of the first chambers of the strips for guiding the screw clamping rods, the diameter of this opening being equal to the diameter of the screw clamping rods is. - The head protruding from the profile on the side of the sleeve nut is taken up by the round chamber in the bar of the next construction floor.

For larger cell widths, about 800, 1000 or 1200 mm, in addition to the height adjustment screws in the neighboring posts, a U-shaped central height adjustment angle with a height adjustment screw is provided in the middle of the cell on the front bar of the construction floor, which is used to determine the position two lugs are inserted into one of the grooves of the last profile. This prevents the construction floor from bending more.

To form a clean end of the cabinet or the wall of the cabinet downwards, concealing the height adjustment screws, according to the invention on the profile or, in the case of a cabinet or wall of the cabinet, on the two profiles of each bottom construction floor in the outer, on at least one side with an undercut groove of the profile a base-clip profile by means of two mutually parallel vertical webs with a barb-shaped upper edge clipped onto a web, and on the outside of the posts and, if applicable, the middle height adjustment angle, an angle profile with a longer vertical leg is made as the inner base profile, on the outside of which an outer base profile with an undercut to a third, outer web of the base clip profile with barb-shaped upper edge is clipped in from above.

In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown.
  • Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a post with the two construction floors lying on both sides of this.
  • Fig. 2 shows a horizontal cross section through two adjacent posts with the two associated cabinet sides and the connection of these two posts with each other.
Posts 3 are attached to the front and rear edges of the cabinet sides 1 and strips 4 are attached to the front and rear edges of the construction floors 2. The posts 3 and the strips 4 consist of a light metal alloy, such as an alloy of aluminum, magnesium and silicon. Certain surface parts of these profiles are corrugated for purely optical reasons. The profile shape of the posts 3 and 4 strips is identical and has an overall rectangular outer contour. Each profile has two adjacent closed chambers, namely a first, round chamber 5 and a second, approximately rectangular chamber 6. The partition 7 between the first chamber 5 and the second chamber 6 protrudes in a partial arc shaped into the second, approximately rectangular chamber. On the outer sides of the one, round chamber 5, two mutually opposite grooves 8 and 9 are provided which are open towards the longer rectangular side and have undercuts 10 on one side. On the outside of the second chamber 6, along the rectangular narrow side, a projecting web 11 with a pine cone profile is attached, which is used to fasten the associated cupboard side 1 or the associated structural floor 2, which are grooved accordingly. The spaces between the grooves 8, 9 and the webs 11 are hollow to save weight.

In the strips 4, the first, round chambers 5 serve to receive screw-type tension rods 12 with threaded sections 13 at both ends. With these threaded sections 13, the tie rods 12 are screwed into sleeve nuts, the head 14a of which has an internal hexagon socket and the sleeve 14b of which has a length which is exactly the same as the width of the profile of the posts 3. These sleeve nuts 14 are inserted with their sleeve 14b into a hole in a row of grid holes 15 passing through the middle of the first chamber 5 into the post 3.

9.The second chambers 6 in the posts 3 serve to receive height adjustment screws 16. The grooves 8 and 9 open towards the longer rectangle side in the rear posts 3 and in the rear strips 4 of the bottom and the top construction floor 2 serve for all-round attachment of the ( not shown) cabinet rear wall by inserting the same into these grooves 8 and 9 respectively.

The screw tensioning rods 12 are guided in the chambers 5 of the strips 4 by means of the two ends thereof Chambers tightly inserted elastic end plates 17. These end plates have a central opening, the diameter of which is equal to that of the screw-tensioning rods 12.

The height adjustment screw 16 provided on each post 3 is rotatably connected to a floor support foot 18 supported on the floor and has an internal polygon (Allen) 19 at its upper end. The height adjustment screw 16 is screwed into a thread in the horizontal leg 20a of a height adjustment angle 20, which leg lies under the lower end of the post 3. The vertical leg 20b of this height adjustment angle 20 protrudes beyond the inner end of the post 3 and is by means of DG screws (self-tapping aluminum quick screws) 21 in the area of the first chamber 5 on the post 3 and by means of at least one chipboard screw 22 with a round head on the cabinet side 1 attached. The rotation of the height adjustment screw 16 and thus the height adjustment and the associated post 3 takes place via the internal polygon (Allen) provided at the upper end of the height adjustment screw 16 by means of a rod-shaped tool 23, which at its lower end has a spherical head hex fitting into the Allen 19 of the height adjustment screw 16 24, which enables an oblique insertion into the Allen 19. At the upper end, the rod-shaped tool 23 has an inner square, which is used for connection to a reversible ratchet 26.

As already mentioned, with larger cell widths in the middle of each cell on each ledge 4 of the lowest construction floor 2, a U-shaped central elevation angle with a height adjustment screw 39 can also be provided, which is expediently inserted into the groove 8 of the ledge profile by two lugs 40 is fixed and its height adjustment screw 39 has a short polygonal section 41 between the base support foot 18 and the threaded part of the height adjustment screw 39 for attaching an open-end wrench, the latter being used to adjust this height adjustment screw 39.

In the case of the height adjustment screws 16 engaging on the post 3, the rod-shaped tool 23 is inserted into the second chamber 6, in which the height adjustment screw 16 is located, through an elongated opening 27 provided above the lower end of the post 3 in the outer wall of the second chamber 6 through.

On the ledge 4 of each lowermost construction base 2, or also on both ledges, a base-clip profile 28 is in the outer groove 8 with its undercut 10 by means of two mutually parallel, vertical webs 29, one of which has a barbed upper edge 30 , clipped. On the outer sides of the posts 3 and, if present, the central elevation angle 38, there is an angle profile 31 with a longer vertical leg 32 as a base inner profile, on the outside of which a base outer profile with an undercut 34 on a third, outer web 35 of the base clip profile 28 is clipped with a barbed upper edge 36 from above.

On the outer sides of the door-side posts 3 and strips 4, elastic door seals 37 are fastened in correspondingly arranged, unspecified grooves of these profiles.

The assembly of a cabinet or wall unit according to the invention is carried out as follows: Assembly from right to left is described here, but assembly is of course also possible in the opposite direction, ie from left to right. First of all, sleeve nuts 14 are screwed onto two screw tensioning rods 12 on one end. These two screw tie rods 12 are inserted through the corresponding grid holes in the right side of the cabinet 1. Now the construction floor 2 with its round chambers 5 is pushed onto these two screw tie rods 12, and the two screw tie rods 12 are inserted through the grid hole of the next cabinet side 1. Now the two screw tie rods 12 are tightened from the left side of this second cabinet side 1, each with a sleeve nut 14 using a reversible ratchet with a hexagon fitting into the hex 14a on this second cabinet side 1. Then two screw tie rods 12 are then screwed into the last two sleeve nuts 14 in the second cabinet side 1, and the next construction base 2 is pushed onto these two screw tie rods 12, which are then pushed through the grid holes on the third cabinet side 1. Now these two screw tensioning rods 12 are again tightened with a sleeve nut 14 by means of a reversible ratchet with a hexagon fitting into the hex 14a on the third side 1 of the cabinet. This can be continued in any number of steps (number of compartments). After the assembly of a cabinet or a cabinet wall has been completed, the heads 14a of the sleeve nuts 14 of at least two construction floors 2 are exposed on the outer sides of the two outermost cabinet sides 1. If this is to be avoided, then 1 cover plates are screwed onto the outside of the two outside cabinet sides from the inside of the cabinet attached, the cover plates having recesses on the inside for receiving these nut heads 14a, the grid of these recesses corresponding to the grid of the holes in the cabinet sides 1.
