Abstract
Der Splittermantel (15) eines Geschosses (1) soll durch eine Sprengladung (18), die sich im Innern des Splittermantels (15) befindet, in eine Anzahl Bruchstücke von gewünschter Grösse zerlegt werden, wobei die Sprengladung (18) durch einen Zünder (10) im gewünschten Zeitpunkt gezündet wird. Dieser Splittermantel (15) weist eine Anzahl Ringe (14) auf, welche mit Sollbruchstellen (22-24) versehen sind. Entlang dieser Sollbruchstellen (22-24) zersplittert der Splittermantel (15) in die Bruchstücke gewünschter Grösse.
Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft ein Geschoss mit Splittermantel, gemäss dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruches.
- Solche Geschosse mit Splittermantel sind bekannt; es wird insbesondere auf folgende Patentschriften hingewiesen:
- a) In der britischen Patentschrift Nr. 778 900 ist ein Geschoss beschrieben, das auch als Bombe oder Granate bezeichnet wird und eine explosive Ladung enthält. Die Oberfläche dieser Ladung, welche am Splittermantel anliegt, ist mit einer Anzahl sich in Längsrichtung des Geschosses erstreckenden Nuten versehen, welche ein geeignetes Muster bilden, durch das die Grösse und Form der Bruchstücke bestimmt ist. Insbesondere wird die Sprengladung in eine Papier- oder Blechhülse eingefüllt, welche diese Nuten aufweist. Der Splittermantel kann aus einzelnen Ringen zusammengesetzt sein, welche an ihrer Innenseite eine glatte Oberfläche aufweisen.
- b) In der schweizerischen Patentschrift Nr. 485 194 ist ein Geschoss mit einem Splittermantel beschrieben, in dem sich eine von einer Folie umgebene Sprengladung befindet. Die Folie weist eine Anzahl längliche, sich in Längsrichtung des Geschosses erstreckende, in Reihen angeordnete Einbuchtungen auf. Die Einbuchtungen benachbarter Reihen sind in Richtung der Reihen zueinander versetzt. Zwischen je zwei Reihen von Einbuchtungen ist ein Abstand angeordnet, in welchem die Folie flach ist.
- Es hat sich nun gezeigt, dass sich bei Schwermetall der Splittermantel auf diese Art nicht in Bruchstücke von gewünschter Grösse zerlegen lässt.
- Die Aufgabe, welche mit der vorliegenden Erfindung gelöst werden soll, besteht in der Schaffung eines Splittermantels, der sich durch die Sprengladung zuverlässig in Bruchstücke von gewünschter Grösse zerlegen lässt.
- Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäss dadurch gelöst, dass das Geschoss ausser den Merkmalen des Oberbegriffes auch die Merkmale im Kennzeichen des Anspruches 1 aufweist.
- Vorzugsweise weist der Ring zylindrische Aussparungen auf, welche sich in Längsrichtung des Geschosses erstrecken und welche gegen das Ringinnere offen sind. Oder der Ring weist sich in Längsrichtung erstreckende, einen dreieckigen Querschnitt aufweisende, gegen das Ringinnere offene Aussparung auf. Oder der Ring ist in eine Anzahl Segmente unterteilt, welche durch Sintern zusammengefügt sind.
- Diese Ausbildung von Sollbruchstellen am Splittermantel hat den Vorteil, dass sie sich relativ einfach herstellen lassen und eine Zerlegung des Splittermantels in Bruchstücke von gewünschter Grösse gewährleisten.
- Verschiedene Ausführungsbeispiele des erfindungsgemässen Geschosses mit Splittermantel sind im folgenden anhand der beigefügten Zeichnung ausführlich beschrieben. Es zeigt:
- Fig.1 einen Längsschnitt durch das Geschoss mit Splittermantel;
- Fig.2 einen Querschnitt nach Linie II-II in Fig.1 gemäss einem ersten Ausführungsbeispiel;
- Fig.3 einen Querschnitt nach Linie III-III in Fig.1 gemäss einem zweiten Ausführungsbeispiel;
- Fig.4 einen Querschnitt nach Linie IV-IV in Fig.1 gemäss einem dritten Ausführungsbeispiel.
- Gemäss Fig.1 setzt sich das erfindungsgemässe Geschoss 1 mit Splittermantel 15 aus folgenden Teilen zusammen:
- einem an sich bekannten Bodenzünder 10, der vor dem Ziel über eine
Verstärkerladung 11 eine Sprengladung 18 im Innern des Geschosses 1 zündet.
- einem Geschosskörper 12, an dessen hinterem Ende der genannte Bodenzünder 10 befestigt ist, der in seinem Innern die erwähnte Verstärkerladung 11 und die Sprengladung 18 enthält und an dessen vorderem Ende eine Haube 13 befestigt ist.
- einer Anzahl Ringe 14, welche zusammen den Splittermantel 15 bilden und die auf einem Dorn 16 des Geschosskörpers 12 aufgeschoben und durch die genannte Haube 13 zusammengehalten sind.
- einem Führungsband 17, das am Geschosskörper 12 verankert ist und den durch Drallnuten des Waffenrohres bewirkten Drall auf das Geschoss 1 überträgt. - Die Geschosshaube 13 wird z.B. aus Kunststoff oder Leichtmetall hergestellt. Als Leichtmetall eignet sich insbesondere Al-Zn-6MG-Cu 1,5. Diese Haube 13 ist auf den Geschosskörper 12 mit Hilfe eines Gewindes 19 aufgeschraubt oder auf andere Art am Geschosskörper 12 befestigt. Der Geschosskörper 12 wird ebenfalls aus Leichtmetall, insbesondere Al-Zn-6MG-Cu 1,5 hergestellt. Er weist an seinem vorderen Ende das erwähnte Gewinde 19 zur Befestigung der Geschosshaube 13 auf und an seinem hinteren Ende weist er ein zweites Gewinde 20 auf, zur Befestigung des Bodenzünders 10. Im Dorn 16 des Geschosskörpers 12 ist eine Bohrung 21 vorgesehen zur Aufnahme der Sprengladung 18.
- Die Sprengladung 18 setzt sich, in üblicher Weise, aus einer Anzahl zylindrischer Körper zusammen, welche insbesondere aus Hexal W15 hergestellt werden.
- Der Bodenzünder 10 und die Verstärkerladung 11 sind, wie gesagt, an sich bekannt und sind daher hier nicht näher beschrieben. Der Splittermantel 15 setzt sich z.B aus sechs Ringen 14 zusammen, wobei die Anzahl der Ringe 14 nicht von Bedeutung ist. Diese Ringe 14 werden vorzugsweise aus Sintermetall, insbesondere Schwermetall, hergestellt, z.B. aus W, NI 4,5 FE. Wesentlich ist, dass diese Ringe 14 des Splittermantels 15 Sollbruchstellen aufweisen, damit sie durch die Sprengladung 18 in Bruchstücke von gewünschter Grösse zerfallen. Diese Sollbruchstellen können verschiedene Formen aufweisen. Gemäss Fig.2 sind im Ring 14 zylindrische Aussparungen 22 vorhanden, welche gegen das Ringinnere offen sind und sich in Längsrichtung erstrecken. Gemäss Fig.3 sind im Ring 14 in Längsrichtung sich erstreckende einen dreieckigen Querschnitt aufweisende Aussparungen 23 vorhanden, die gegen das Ringinnere offen sind. Gemäss Fig.4 ist der Ring 14 in eine Anzahl Segmente 24 unterteilt, welche durch Sintern zusammengefügt sind.
- Die Erfindung ist selbstverständlich nicht auf diese drei Ausführungsformen gemäss den Fig.2 - 4 beschränkt.
Claims (1)
- Geschoss (1) mit Splittermantel (15), in dem sich eine Sprengladung (18) befindet, mit einem Zünder (10) zum Zünden der Sprengladung (18) und mit Mitteln (22-24), um den Splittermantel (15) in Bruchstücke von gewünschter Grösse zu zerlegen, wobei der Splittermantel (15) aus einzelnen Ringen (14) zusammengesetzt ist, welche Sollbruchstellen (22-24) aufweisen und entlang dieser Sollbruchstellen (22-24) in Bruchstücke von gewünschter Grösse zersplittern, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Ring (14) in eine Anzahl Segmente (24) unterteilt ist, welche durch Sintern zusammengefügt sind.
