Abstract

A mounting (1) for accessory units such as bit stops or the like to be mounted on the side of a hand machine-tool has an opening (4) and a locking lever (12) which constricts the opening (4). The lever (12) has at its end opposite the opening a toothing (13) and in its middle lateral support pegs (14, 15) inserted in circular arc shaped guiding slots (21, 22) with sections (24) that deviate outwardly from the circular arc line. The lever (12) is automatically locked in the guiding slots (21, 22). A spring can be totally dispensed with. The lever (12) is easy and handy to use and needs not to be held in the hand in its unlocking position. The construction of the whole mounting exclusively of plastic is very economic.

Description

Stand der TechnikState of the art

The invention relates to a holding part for lateral attachment to a hand tool according to the preamble of the main claim. In EP-A-O 132 593, mounts arranged on additional handles with spring-loaded pressing elements for holding and releasing a depth stop have been described. The attachment of other additional devices such as suction devices, drilling angle meters, etc. is very cumbersome because the pressing elements are so unfavorably arranged that they cannot be easily operated. Another disadvantage is that the pressing elements have to be constantly pressed down by hand during the process of inserting or adjusting the depth stop, and this hand is therefore no longer free. In the embodiment with the lever, it is also unfavorable that the grooved pressing surface can disengage or the spring must be dimensioned very heavily in the case of heavy use (e.g. impact operation), which makes operation more difficult.

Vorteile der ErfindungAdvantages of the invention

The holding part according to the invention with the characterizing features of the main claim has the advantage that the handle end of the locking lever is freely accessible at all times, even if additional devices are inserted laterally into the holding part. Operation is very simple and convenient with one finger. After opening the lock, the lever remains in the open position due to the missing spring even when the finger or hand is removed. This gives the operator both hands free to insert, remove or adjust the additional device (e.g. depth stop). In the locked position, the lever remains self-locking in its position on the circular arc. The lock does not release even in hammer drill or hammer operation. The low gradient of the circular arc path offers additional security, so that even with small displacements of the lever, the toothing still remains in engagement with the additional device. The entire holding part including the lever can be produced entirely in plastic and is therefore inexpensive. In addition, the lever is very easy to assemble with a handle.

Zeichnungdrawing

Es zeigen Figur 1 einen Zusatzhandgriff mit Halteteil in Querschnitt und Figur 2 einen Schnitt gemäß Linie A-A in Figur 1.An embodiment of the holding part is shown in the drawing and explained in more detail in the following description. FIG. 1 shows an additional handle with a holding part in cross section and FIG. 2 shows a section along line A-A in FIG. 1.

Beschreibung des AusführungsbeispielesDescription of the embodiment

The holding part 1 is arranged laterally on the fastening head 2 of an additional handle 20 for hand machine tools. It is hollow and made of plastic. It has a continuous hexagonal opening 4 parallel to the axial direction of the receiving opening 3 of the fastening head 2, which penetrates through the side walls 5, 6. The holding part 1 has an opening 7 above the opening 4. The side walls 5, 6 have grooves 8, 9 in a vertical extension below the opening 4, in which pins 10, 11 of a lever are guided (see FIG. 2). This carries on its upper side facing the opening 4 a toothing 13 which is transverse to the axial direction of the opening 4 and which corresponds to a toothing in the holding part of an additional device (not shown) which can be inserted into the opening 4.

In the central region, the lever 12 has support pins 14, 15 with resilient extensions 16, 17 at the ends. Below the support pins 14, 15, the lever 12 is tapered to form a handle part 18. To guide the support pins 14, 15, control slots 21, 22 are formed in the side walls 5, 6 with an approximately circular-arc-shaped section 23 and an adjoining section 24 deviating from the circular-arc line to the outside. The section 23 is a circular-arc section with one opposite the axis the pin 10, 11 slightly to the right, ie Center point offset in the direction of receiving opening 3, approximately the center point 25. The grip part 18 is tapered so that the support pins 14, 15 in the control slots 21, 22 are given a wide support in order to be able to better derive the clamping force required in the teeth 13.

The assembly of the lever 12 is done simply from above through the opening 7 in the holding part 1. When pushing down the support pins 14, 15 along the grooves 8, 9, the elastic extensions 16, 17 move back inwards. In the slots 21, 22 they spread again, so that the lever 12 is captively held in the holding part 1.

The operation of the holding part 1 for loosening and tightening an additional device is very simple and convenient. The lever 12 is simply pressed on the handle part 18 with a finger in the direction of the additional handle 20 without the hand having to be released from the handle. The support pins 14, 15 reach the section 24 and the pins 10, 11 move along the grooves 8, 9 away from the opening 4, so that this is completely released. The lever 12 remains in the region of the section 24 of the slots 21, 22 even after the operating finger has been removed.

Now the additional device is inserted into the opening 4 or, in the case of a depth stop, moved into the correct position corresponding to the desired drilling depth. Then the lever 12 is also pushed back again with a single finger until the toothing 13 bears firmly on the additional device. So that this is clamped in place. The support pins 14, 15 remain in the circular arc due to self-locking Section 23 of the control slots 21, 22 at a specific point, which depends on the tolerances, especially of the hexagon socket of the additional device. The lever 12 is then more or less perpendicular, but is itself inhibited at every point due to the slight slope in section 23. Retensioning is also possible at any time.

Instead of an additional handle 20, the holding part 1 can also be arranged directly on the housing of the handheld power tool or connected in one piece to the housing.
