― means for turning the elastic edge (40) of the tights orientated in this way around a horizontal axis through about 90° with a fixed cam (6) on the support structure (1), a lever (7) with a roller sliding on the said cam (6) a toothed sector (8) solidly connected to the said lever (7), a toothed crown (9) engaged with the said sector (8) and solidly connected to the above-mentioned squeezing device (3), a return spring and to enable one to orientate the tights in such a way as to lay the elastic edge (40) to one side of a plate situated below (12) belonging to the transporter (BG) of the tights in packets (P), and to lay the disconnected legs on the other side of the said plate and in such a manner as to form part of a packet (P) of several superimposed tights.

Arrangement according to claim 1) characterized in that the said carriage (2) is controlled by a direct current electric motor and in co-operation with an endless thread (21) to permit reversal of the movement and to execute the return movement empty at a speed greater than that of the forward movement.
3. Arrangement according to claim 1) characterized in that the vertical alternating movement of the said point (31) of the squeezing device (3) is controlled by a pneumatic cylinder (33) and in such a way that the two points (30, 31) are spaced from one another outside the tights, they then approach after penetration by one of the points into the opening of the tights and holding the elastic edge, they are successively spaced from one another to unload the tights and finally approach, before or during the empty return movement of the carriage (2).
4. Arrangement according to claim 1) characterized in that the said finger (5) is solidly connected with a movable foot under the squeezing device (3) and in such a manner that in the close position relative to the squeezing device (3), it is subject to vertical movement of the movable point (31), a return spring providing the return of the finger (5) to the rest position.
5. Arrangement according to claim 1) characterized in that the said finger (5) is subservient to a pneumatic cylinder (33) and in such a way as to be removed from the squeezing device (3) immediately after the respective spacing of the points (30, 31) and respectively approached after unloading of the tights and the previous approach of points (30, 31) of the squeezing device (3) to one another.
6. Arrangement according to claim 1) characterized in that the said finger (5) has the point in the form of an arrow point to prevent the elastic edge (40) of the tights spontaneously leaving the said bar (5) during its transfer.
