- the fan 4 is thus mounted in rotation along an axis perpendicular to the wall 2 provided with the openings 6, 7, 8.
- the fan 4 has blades generating a radial air flow and the heating resistor 5 surrounds the fan 4.
- this heating resistor 5 comprises two turns which surround the fan 4. This resistor 5 is fixed to the bottom of the box 3 by means of the tabs 11, 12.
- the wall 2 of the cooking enclosure adjacent to the fan 4 comprises a series of openings 6 arranged facing the central part of the fan and lateral openings 7, 8 arranged facing the periphery of this last.
- lateral openings 7, 8 in the form of slots each have on their outer bond a flap 7a, 8a inclined towards the resistor 5 (see FIG. 4).

All the heating, ventilating, regulating and lighting components of the oven are thus grouped outside the cooking enclosure 1. The interior of this cooking enclosure 1 is therefore devoid of all these organs and is thus very simple and easily cleaned.
- the air is then propelled radially by the fan 4 towards the turns of the heating resistor 5 which thus have the effect of heating this air.
- the hot air thus formed is propelled by the fan inside the cooking chamber 1 by the side slots 7, 8.
- the flaps 7a, 8a thereof act as deflectors to facilitate the entry of the hot air inside the cooking chamber 1 (see arrows F1).
- the manufacturer of a conventional oven can use the cooking enclosure surrounded by the body of this conventional oven, to transform it into a ventilated oven by replacing the bottom wall with the aforementioned ventilation sub-assembly, without having to equipping the interior of the cooking chamber with heating resistors which add to the cost of manufacturing conventional ovens.
