Description

Various analog measuring devices are known, comprising at least one needle moving opposite a dial and a rotating bezel.

Documents CH-486 728 are known; CH-339 887 and FR-2 112 012 watches comprising several concentric rotating glasses relative to one another. These glasses do not interpenetrate and therefore do not make it possible to define sectors of angular amplitude and angular position variable at will.

Document CH-880 00 describes a watch the display of which comprises several superimposed rotating discs, some of which are perforated to reveal the indications carried by the adjacent discs.

Nor does such a display make it possible to define sectors of variable angular amplitude and angular position.

Document DE-2015446 describes an instrument for the display of angles comprising interpenetrating slotted disks and allowing, by the modification of their rotary position, the indication of an angular value. This instrument is not integrated into a watch and the angular indication cannot therefore be related to time. Finally, the means making it possible to modify the angular position of the discs are complex.

Swiss patent CH 585 424, more particularly relating to a watch, describes an apparatus allowing program a series of time-dependent events at will; however, modifying the programs requires relatively complicated manipulation, which makes certain corrections or particular applications impossible during the program. Indeed, the crowns nested one inside the other forming this display cannot be actuated individually.

In order to overcome these drawbacks, the object of the invention is an analog measuring device comprising at least one needle moving opposite a dial constituted at least partially by at least two separate crowns, concentric to the 'switch and split radially, one passing through the slot of the other so that it is partially superimposed on it and determines two sectors of crowns constituting particular distinct zones of the dial, characterized in that each crown comprises a radial arm secured to a concentric control crown determining its angular position, at least one of the control crowns being able to be actuated by a member of a manual corrector to modify its angular position.

It is reserved as to the possibility of using certain characters of the description, individually or in combination, in order to elaborate any new claim likely to strengthen the protection.

In fig. 1, we notice under the glass of the box 1, the switch 3.1 moving above the dial 3.2 and opposite an inner rotating bezel whose visible face is constituted by particular zones determined by the three sectors 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3 of different colors, each including a specific identification mark 2.12 and a graduation 2.11. Each sector is integral with a control crown capable of being driven by the manipulation crown of the manual corrector 4.1 while the manipulation crown of the selection device 5.1 makes it possible to select at any time which sector should be kept stationary in the position that he keeps busy. The selection device allows a certain number of combinations ranging from the simultaneous movement, at the same speed, of all the sectors which makes it possible to modify their arrangement relative to the central dial without modifying the angular value of each of them, up to l '' total immobilization of all sectors, which constitutes security in the event of accidental manipulation of the manipulation crown of the manual corrector.

In fig. 2, note the crown 2.1. whose sector face 2.1 is colored and whose free end determined by the radial window includes the specific identification mark 2.12 as well as a retaining tab 2.16, projecting perpendicularly, while the other end is made integral, by a radial arm 2.13 close to the slot, a crown of command 2.14, concentric, comprising a toothing 2.15, the whole coming from a single piece and being able to be very thin (of the order of 0.05 mm) which allows an elastic deformation of the crown, in helical shape in order to allow the passage in the slot of the other complementary crowns so as to constitute the various desired sectors.

In fig. 3, we note the three crowns 2.1, 2.2. and 2.3 superimposed (nested helically) integral with the respective control crowns 2.11, 2.21 and 2.31 adjusted by the top of their teeth in a cylindrical housing of the middle located under the glass 1.1 and held internally by a flange 1.3 surrounding the switch 3.1 and the dial 3.2 supported by the movement 3. The manipulation crown 4.1 is integral with the corrector shaft 4, the upper end of which comprises a square around which are corrected, alternately, the corrector pinions 4.3 with cylindrical hole, separated and driven by friction with the corrector washers 4,21, 4,22 and 4,23 with square hole, under the elastic action of the spring washer 4.5, the said corrector washers exceeding the total diameter of the pinions in order to grip each respective teeth of the control crowns so that they always remain in engagement despite their small thickness. The bottom of the box 1.2 is fixed against the base of the middle part and includes the bearing bottom of the corrector shaft and is shaped so that it also constitutes a protective member for the handling crown. The handling crown extends beyond the circumference of the middle part in order to facilitate its manual control in order to drive all the crowns at the same speed, provided that none of them is held stationary by the selection device capable of immobilizing a corrector pinion by the penetration of a lock in its teeth. When the selection device keeps all the crowns stationary, it constitutes a safety device preventing any displacement of the crowns during an accidental action on the handling crown. On the other hand, it is possible to design the drive of at least one ring gear at a different speed, by modifying the gear ratio concerned, this in order to obtain a different angular displacement depending on a particular parameter.

In fig. 4, we note the selector 5.1 handling ring secured to the selection shaft 5, identical to the drive shaft, but whose upper square supports and drives three superimposed cams 5.21, 5.22 and 5.23 working respectively with the ends for controlling the selection locks 6.21, 6.22 and 6.23 also serving as a positioning spring, in order to control the release or the locking of the different crowns according to predetermined possibilities. The circumference of the handling crown of the selector includes a characteristic toothing, symbolic 5.11 and 5.12, giving an indication of the selected functions.

In this first embodiment, the angular displacement of each crown is limited in one direction until the moment when the arm bears on the arm of a contiguous crown, which it then causes or, in the other direction, when 'A retaining lug also bears against an element of an adjoining crown to prevent it from coming out of the slot.

In some cases, it may be necessary to ensure complete independence between the different crowns, this is why a second derivative embodiment is described below.

5 and 6, it is noted that three crowns 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3, each having come in one piece with a toothed control crown engaged with a pinion of the manual corrector secured to the manipulation crown 4.1, the selection functions being always defined by the selector handling crown 5.1.

The described embodiments can also be applied for instruments of various edges or counters, similarly the graduations can be replaced by inscriptions or symbols, the function then being more the reading of a given indication rather than the determination. angular of a given sector.

Finally, the crowns can constitute a rotating bezel, complementary and independent of a central dial, the said rotating bezel being able to be housed on the box or on a dashboard, concentrically with the box.

According to fig. 7 and 8, we note the case middle 1 on which pivots a control window 1.2 supporting the glass 1.1 and comprising at its base a cavity 1.21 in which is adjusted the arm 2.11 of the crown 2.1 whose slot 2.12 develops in arc of a circle from the center of the dial to its periphery so that a second crown, similar 2.2, profiled by the edge of the slot 2.22, of different color, determines a particular aesthetic of the face of the dial. This second crown comprises an arm comprising a jumper spring capable of engaging in one of the housings 1.01 of the middle part constituting a device for selecting and immobilizing the latter when the first crown moves relative to it and for as far as the two respective arms are not in contact, because then the two crowns are moved simultaneously. which allows to angularly adjust the position of the second crown relative to the box, then by actuating the control telescope in the opposite direction , then move only the first crown in order to obtain the desired aesthetic effect. It is possible to vary at will, the appearance of the dial, the crowns pivot around a central core secured to a dial plate 3.2 assembled on the movement 3
The crowns can be shaped to present openings through which the face of the lower crown appears. These crowns can be very thin (of the order of 0.05 mm) and produced by electro-forming or chemical attack which opens up very wide possibilities for their shaping (fine grooves, various wefts) as well as the coloring of the faces and the printing a pattern appearing in a window makes it possible to create a whimsical dial or memory aid (display of a selected symbol in a window), or a game using the possibility of controlling the variation of the dial graphics by the bezel.
