Claims (7)

1. Form zur Herstellung eines insbesondere aus expandiertem Polystyrol bestehenden Gießereimodells, eines Motorzylinderblocks (50) mit mehreren in einer Linie liegenden Zylindern (12) mit zueinander parallelen Achsen (X-X), mehreren Lagern (14) zur Montage einer Kurbelwelle, deren Achse (Y-Y) zur Achse der Zylinder senkrecht ist, um die Zylinder herum geformten Hohlräumen (16) und Ausnehmungen (18) zwischen den Lagern und den Zylindern, wobei die Form (3) in Richtung der Achse der Zylinder übereinander angeordnete Formabschnitte (20, 22, 24) besitzt, gekennzeichnet durch einen oberen Abschnitt (20), der die Verformung des oberen Teils (20') des Modells mit den Zylindern und mindestens einem Teil der Hohlräume gestattet, einen unteren Abschnitt (24), der die Vorformung des unteren Teils (24') des Modells mit den Lagern und mindestens einem Teil der Ausnehmungen gestattet, und einen mittleren Abschnitt (22), der die Formung des mittleren Teils (22') des Modells mit den die Teile der Hohlräume und Ausnehmungen ergänzenden Teilen zwischen dem oberen Teil (20') und dem unteren Teil (24') gestattet.
2. Form nach Anspruch 1, gekennzeichnet durch ein abnehmbares oberes Formelement (38), das mit dem oberen Abschnitt (20) bei der Vorformung des oberen Teils (20') des Modells zur Abgrenzung der Teile der Hohlräume und zur Verschließung der Öffnung (36) des Formenhohlraums (32) des oberen Abschnitts (20), der an dessen Unterseite (34) ausmündet, zusammenwirkt.

Form nach Anspruch 1, gekennzeichnet durch ein abnehmbares unteres Formelement (50), das mit dem unteren Abschnitt (24) bei der Vorformung des unteren Teils (24') des Modells zurAbgrenzung der Teile der Ausnehmungen und zum Verschließen der Öffnung (52) des Formenhohlraums (46) des unteren Abschnitts (24), der an dessen Oberseite (48) ausmündet, zusammenwirkt.
4. Form nach den Ansprüchen 2 und 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die untere Seite (34) und die obere Seite (48) ebene, zur Achse der Zylinder senkrechte Flächen sind, mit denen zwei einander entgegengesetzte, parallele und ebene Flächen (60, 62) des mittleren Abschnitts (22) zusammenwirken.
5. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Gießereimodells unter Verwendung einer Form nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 3, gekennzeichnet durch die folgenden Schritte:
a1) Vorformung des oberen Teils (20') des Modells mit Hilfe des mit dem abnehmbaren oberen Formelement (38) versehenen oberen Abschnitts (20) der Form,
a2) Vorformung des unteren Teils (24') des Modells mit Hilfe des mit dem abnehmbaren unteren Formelement (50) versehenen unteren Abschnitts (24) der Form,
b) Abnahme des oberen und des unteren abnehmbaren Formelements (38) und (50),
c) Herstellung der Form durch Einfügung des mittleren Abschnitts (22) zwischen die untere Fläche (34) des oberen Abschnitts (20) und die obere Fläche (48) des unteren Abschnitts (24) und Zusammenbau der drei Abschnitte, und
d) Formung des mittleren Teils (22') des Modells.
6. Verfahren nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die beiden Vorformungsschritte (a1) und (a2) gleichzeitig ausgeführt werden.
