Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung von Polyaralkylaminen als Korrosionsinhibitoren für metallische Werkstoffe.
- Es ist bekannt, langkettige Polyamine, besonders solche, die sich von längeren Fettsäuren ableiten, als schutzfilmbildende Korrosionsinhibitoren einzusetzen (vgl. z.B. T. Szauer, A. Brandt, Corrosion Science, Vol. 23, No, 5, 473-480 (1983); M. Duprat et al., Corrosion, Vol. 36, 262-266 (1981); US-PS 3 718 604, 3 717 433 und 3 687 859). In der Wirkung zeichnen sich besonders solche aus, die sich von cyclischen oder polycyclischen höheren Carbonsäuren, beispielsweise Naphthensäuren oder Harzäuren, herleiten. Die Naphthensäuren oder Harzsäuren sind als Naturprodukte jedoch nicht unbeschränkt zugänglich. Außerdem variiert deren Qualität stark mit der jeweiligen Herkunft.
- Andererseits zeigen Amine mit einer niedrigen Kettenlänge oder unsubstituierte Polyalkylenamine in der Regel keine oder keine ausreichende korrosionsinhibierende Wirkung bei metallischen Werkstoffen.

- Als Alkylreste der Formel (I) kommen solche mit 1 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatomen, bevorzugt 1 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen, besonders bevorzugt 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen in Frage. Genannt seien: Methyl, Ethyl, Propyl, n-Butyl, Isobutyl, Hexyl, Ethylhexyl, Decyl und Stearyl, bevorzugt Methyl, Ethyl, n-Butyl und Ethylhexyl, besonders bevorzugt Methyl, Ethyl und n-Butyl.
- Als Cycloalkylreste kommen solche mit 5 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen, bevorzugt 5 bis 7 Kohlenstoffatomen in Frage. Genannte seinen: Cyclohexyl und Methylcyclohexyl.
- Als Aralkylreste kommen in Frage solche mit 7 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatomen, bevorzugt mit 7 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen, besonders bevorzugt solche mit 7 bis 9 Kohlenstoffatomen. Genannt seien: Benzyl, α-Methylbenzyl, α,α-Dimethylbenzyl, 4-Methylbenzyl, tert.-Butylbenzyl, Methoxybenzyl und 3-Chlorbenzyl, bevorzugt Benzyl.
- Als Polyaralkylreste kommen solche mit 7 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatomen je Aralkylen-Einheit in Frage, bevorzugt solche mit 7 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen, besonders bevorzugt solche mit 7 bis 9 Kohlenstoffatomen. Die Polyaralkylreste besitzen im allgemeinen 2 bis 50 Aralkyleneinheiten, bevorzugt 2 bis 30 Aralkyleneinheiten, besonders bevorzugt 2 bis 12 Aralkyleneinheiten.
- Als Arylreste kommen solche mit 6 bis 15 Kohlenstoffatomen, bevorzugt solche mit 6 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen, besonders bevorzugt solche mit 6 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen in Frage. Genannt seien: Phenyl, Tolyl und Chlorphenyl, bevorzugt Phenyl.

- Bevorzugt ist die Verwendung von Polyaralkylaminen der Formel (I), in der m für eine ganze Zahl von 2 bis 6, besonders bevorzugt 2 und 3 steht und n 1 bis 20, besonders bevorzugt 2 bis 10 bedeutet.

- Die korrosionsinhibierenden Polyaralkylamine können sowohl einzeln als auch in beliebigen Gemischen untereinander sowie im Gemisch mit anderen Inhibitoren zum Schutz vor Korrosion bei metallischen Werkstoffen eingesetzt werden. Als zusätzliche, bekannte Korrosionsinhibitoren seien genannt: Fettamine, quartäre Ammoniumsalze, N-Heterocyclen, wie Imidazoline, Imidazole, Thiazole, Triazole und Alkinole, wie Propargylalkohol, und Phosphonsäuren.
- Die Polyaralkylamine der Formel (I) und die genannten Korrosionsinhibitoren können im beliebigen Mischungsverhältnis untereinander eingesetzt werden. Bevorzugte Mischungsverhältnisse können leicht durch entsprechende Vorversuche ermittelt werden.
- Die erfindugsgemäß zu verwendenden Polyaralkylamine der Formel (I) können zum Schutz gegen Korrosion bei metallischen Werkstoffen allen korrosiv auf diese Werkstoffe wirkenden Medien zugesetzt werden. Als korrosiv wirkende Medien seien beispielsweise genannt: Wärmeübertragungsmedien (Kühl- und Heizflüssigkeiten), Hydraulikflüssigkeiten, Erdöl(fraktionen), Treib- und Brennstoffe, Metallbearbeitungsflüssigkeiten oder -emulsionen, Säuren für Reinigung, Beizen und für die Bohrlochsäuerung bei der Erdölförderung "Acidizing", Metallbeschichtungsmittel sowie Kunststoffe, z.B. als Isolationsmittel oder bei der Verarbeitung bei höheren Temperaturen, beispielsweise bei der Extrusion.
- Als metallische Werkstoffe, die vor Korrosion geschützt werden können, werden z.B. genannt: Eisenmetalle (Guß oder Stahl), Kupfer, Messing, Zink, Blei sowie Aluminium, bevorzugt Eisenmetalle und Kupfer, ganz besonders bevorzugt Eisenmetalle.
- Die Einsatzmenge der zu verwendenden Polyaralkylamine der Formel (I) kann in weiten Bereichen variiert werden und hängt insbesondere ab von der Art des korrosiv wirkenden Mediums. In der Regel setzt man die Polyaralkylamine in einer Menge von etwa 0,001 bis 3 Gew.-%, bevorzugt 0,05 bis 1 Gew.-%, bezogen auf das korrosiv wirkende Medium, ein.
- Vorzugsweise werden die Polyaralkylamine der Formel (I) eingesetzt in Kombination mit üblichen Formulierungsmitteln, wie Lösungs- und Dispergiermittel. Als Lösungs- und Dispergiermittel seien genannt: aliphatische oder araliphatische Alkohole, wie Isooctanol und Benzylalkohol, Amide, wie Dimethylformamid, oxethylierte Derivate von Alkoholen oder Aminen, wie 2-Ethylhexanol, Laurylalkohol, Cetylalkohol, Dodecylamin, Talgfettamin und Nonylphenol.
- Die jeweils günstige Menge an Lösungs- und/oder Dispergiermittel kann leicht durch Vorversuche ermittelt werden.

- Als Poly-C₇-C₁₈-Aralkylhalogenide mit 2 bis 50 Aralkyleneinheiten der Formel IV (p > 1) seien solche genannt, die sich von Benzylchlorid, Benzylbromid, den o-, m- und p-Isomeren von Methyl-, Ethyl-, Butyl-, Chlor-, Methoxy-benzylchlorid herleiten sowie von α-Methyl- und von α,α-Dimethylbenzylchlorid, bevorzugt von Benzylchlorid.
- Die Amine der Formel (III) werden im allgemeinen im stöchiometrischen Verhältnis mit den Aralkylhalogeniden der Formel (IV) umgesetzt. Vorteilhaft kann es jedoch auch sein, einen Überschuß an Aminen der Formel (III) zu verwenden (2 bis 10 Mol Amin pro Mol Aralkylhalogenid) und überschüssiges Amin nach beendeter Reaktion wieder zu entfernen. Bevorzugt geschieht dies durch Destillation im Vakuum.
- Die Umsetzung der Amine mit den Aralkylhalogeniden kann ohne Mitverwendung von besonderen Halogenwasserstoffakzeptoren durchgeführt werden. In diesem Fall erhält man die Hydrohalogenide der Verfahrensprodukte gemäß Formel (II). Im allgemeinen kondensiert man jedoch in Gegenwart üblicher Halogenwasserstoffakzeptoren, beispielsweise in Gegenwart von tertiären Aminen, vorzugsweise in Gegenwart von Alkalihydroxiden und/oder -carbonaten.
- Die Umsetzung der Amine kann in Substanz ohne Gegenwart spezieller Lösungsmittel erfolgen. Selbstverständlich können aber auch Lösungsmittel oder deren Gemische mitverwendet werden. Als solche eignen sich z.B. Wasser, Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Petrolether, Cyclohexan, Ligroin, Benzol, Toluol, Xylol, Chlorkohlenwasserstoffe, wie Methylenchlorid, Chloroform, Tri- und Tetrachlorethan, Chlorbenzol, Dichlorbenzol, Ester, wie Ethyl- oder Butylacetat. Alkohole, wie Methanol, Ethanol, Isopropanol und Methylglykol.
- Die Reaktionstemperaturen können in weiten Grenzen variierten werden. Sie liegen im allgemeinen bei -20 bis 200°C, vorzugsweise bei 20 bis 120°C.
- Die Isolierung der Polyaralkylamine der Formel (II) richtet sich danach, ob die Hydrohalogenide oder die freien Basen der Amine der Formel (II) gewünscht werden, Werden die Hydrohalogenide gewünscht, so trennt man gegebenenfalls überschüssiges Amin durch Vakuumdestillation ab. Die verbleibenden Rückstände sind im allgemeinen harzartig; in vielen Fällen lassen sie sich zu wäßrigen und/oder alkoholischen, d.h. kolloidalen Lösungen verarbeiten.
- Werden die freien Aminbasen angestrebt, so fallen diese bei Verwendung von Alkalihydroxiden als Halogenwasserstoff-Akzeptoren in der Regel gelöst in einem organischen Lösungsmittel an. Sie können als solche weiterverarbeitet oder durch Abdestillieren des Lösungsmittels isoliert werden.

in Gegeawart von Kondensationsmitteln bis zu einem Umsatz von 5 bis 70 Mol-% der abzuspaltenden Menge an Halogenwasserstoff kondensiert und gegebenenfalls die nicht umgesetzte Menge an Ausgangsprodukt abtrennt. - Als Kondensationsmittel können z.B, eingesetzt werden: Eisen, Zink, Eisen-III-chlorid, Eisen-II- und -III-oxid, Zinkchlorid, Zinkacetat, Zinkstearat, Aluminiumchlorid, Aluminiumoxid, Siliciumdioxid, Tonerden, wie Montmoril-lonit und/oder Zeolither Bevorzugt werden eingesetzt Zinkchlorid und/oder Zinkstearat.
- Die Kondensationsmittel werden üblicherweise in katalytischen Mengen eingesetzt, beispielsweise in Mengen von 0,01 bis 1, vorzugsweise 0,1 bis 0,5 Gew.-%, bezogen auf das eingesetzte C₇-C₁₈-Monoaralkylhalogenid (V).
- Bevorzugt kondensiert man die Aralkylhalogenide bis zu einem Umsatz von 10 bis 50 Mol-%, besonders bevorzugt bis zu einem Umsatz von 15 bis 40 Mol-% der abzuspaltenden Menge an Halogenwasserstoff.
- Der Umsatz der Kondensationsreaktion wird beispielsweise durch Bestimmung der Menge des abgespaltenen Halogenwasserstoffs gesteuert. Dies kann z.B, mittels Rotameter oder durch Titration vorgenommen werden. Zur Steuerung der Kondensation durch Abbruch der Halogenwasserstoffabspaltung setzt man üblicherweise Inhibitoren oder Desaktivatoren der Kondensationsreaktion zu. Beispielsweise seien als Inhibitoren oder Desaktivatoren genannt: quartäre Ammoniumsalze, Amine und/oder Amide, wie Caprolactam und/oder Phosphine, wie Triphenylphosphin.
- Die Kondensationsreaktion wird in der Regel in Substanz ausgeführt; kann aber auch unter Mitwirkung geeigneter Lösungsmittel, beispielsweise chlorierter Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Methylenchlorid und/oder Chloroform erfolgen. Sie kann sowohl kontinuierlich wie diskontinuierlich durchgeführt werden.
- Die Reaktionstemperatur kann je nach Art und/oder der Menge des Kondensationsmittels sowie im Hinblick auf den gewünschten Kondensationsgrad in weiten Grenzen variiert werden. Sie liegt im allgemeinen bei etwa -50 bis 200°C, vorzugsweise bei 0 bis 180°C, besonders bevorzugt bei 50 bis 150°C.
- Die Abtrennung des nicht umgesetzten Monoaralkylhalogenids der Formel (V) aus dem Kondensationsgemisch kann z.B. durch Vakuumdestillation erfolgen.
- 126,6 g (1 Mol) Benzylchlorid und 0,2 g Zn-Stearat werden auf 80-110°C erwärmt, wobei eine kräftige HCl-Entwicklung einsetzt. Nach Abspaltung von 0,25 Mol HCl (Titration gegen Natronlauge) wird die Reaktion durch Zugabe von 0,2 g Triphenylphosphin abgestoppt. Man destilliert überschüssiges Benzylchlorid i.Vak. ab (80 g/0,63 Mol), nimmt das Harz in 100 ml Toluol auf und tropft die Lösung bei 25-35°C zu 103 g (1 Mol) Diethylentriamin. Das Lösungsmittel wird nun bei Normaldruck bis zu einer Sumpftemperatur von 200°C, dann überschüssiges Diethylentriamin im Vakuum abdestilliert. Man erhält auf diese Weise 44 g (∼ 100% d. Th) eines gelborange wasserlöslichen Harzes. C₃₉H₄₄ClN₃ (590.3)
- Zur Gewinnung der freien Base nimmt man das Hydrochlorid in ca. 300 ml Toluol auf und schüttelt mit verdünnter Natronlauge (∼ 0,2 Mol) aus. Nach Trocknen und Einengen der Toluolphase im Vakuum erhält man 37 g eines leicht trüben bräunlichen viskosen Öls.

- 4431 g (35 Mol) Benzylchlorid werden nach Zugabe von 5,25 g Zn-Stearat unter Rühren auf 80 - 100°C aufgeheizt, wobei kräftige HCl-Abspaltung einsetzt. Nach Abspaltung von 7 Mol (20%) HCl (Titration mit vorgelegter Natronlauge) stoppt man die Reaktion durch Zugabe von 7 g Caprolactam ab und destilliert überschüssiges Benzylchlorid im Vakuum bis zu einer Sumpftemperatur von ca. 100°C ab. Man erhält 3080 g (24,3 Mol) an Benzylchlorid und 1076,5 g eines bräunlichen, geblich fluoreszierenden Öls mit einem Gehalt an reaktivem Cl von 9,05%.
- Analog Beispiel 3 erhält man bei Abspaltung von 10,5 Mol (30%) HCl 2668 g (21 Mol) an Benzylchlorid neben 1370 g eines bräunlichen Öls mit einem Gehalt an reaktivem Cl von 7,25%.
- Analog Beispiel 3 erhält man bei Abspaltung von 14 Mol (40%) HCl 2288 g (18 Mol) an Benzylchlorid und 1630 g eines grün-gelblich fluoreszierenden viskosen Öls mit einem Gehalt an reaktivem Cl von 5,6%.

- 126,6 g (1 Mol) Benzylchlorid und 0,2 g Zn-Stearat werden auf 80-110°C erwärmt. Die kräftige Entwicklung von HCl wird nach Erreichen von 50% (0,5 Mol) Abspaltung durch Zugabe von 0,2 g Caprolactam abgestoppt. Man destilliert überschüssiges Benzylchlorid im Vakuum ab (ca. 46 g), nimmt das hinterbleibende Harz in 150 ml Toluol auf und läßt die Lösung unter Rühren in 116 g (0,5 Mol) Pentaethylenhexamin bei ∼ 25-30°C einlaufen. Unter Aufheizen zum Sieden wird Lösungsmittel im Normaldruck und überschüssiges Amin im Ölpumpenvakuum bis zu einer Sumpftemperatur von 250°C entfernt. Man erhält 80,9 g (99% d. Th.) eines bräunlichen, viskosen, wasserlöslichen Harzes. C₆₆H₇₇ClN₆ (989.85)
- Die Überführung in die freie Base analog Beispiel 1 liefert 72,2 g eines gelbgrün fluoreszierenden Öls.

- 253,2 g (2 Mol) Benzylchlorid werden zusammen mit 0,4 g Zn-Stearat so lange bei 105-115°C gehalten, bis 0,5 Mol (25%) HCl abgespalten sind. Man stoppt die Reaktion durch Zugabe von 0,4 g Triphenylphosphin ab, destilliert überschüssiges Benzylchlorid im Vakuum bis zu einer Sumpftemperatur von ca. 110°C ab, nimmt den harzartigen Rückstand in 150 ml Toluol auf und läßt die Lösung bei 20-30°C unter Rühren in 146,2 g (1 Mol) Triethylentetramin einlaufen. Nach Aufheizen zum Rückfluß destilliert man das Lösungsmittel im Normaldruck bis zu einer Sumpftemperatur von ca. 200°C, dann das überschüssige Triethylentetramin im Hochvakuum bis zur gleichen Temperatur ab. Man erhält 98,8 g (96.4% d. Th.) eines klebrigen wasserlöslichen Harzes, das nach Ausschütteln mit 500 ml Toluol und 150 ml in Natronlauge 77,8 g der entsprechenden freien Aminbase als orangebräunliches Harz liefert.

- Analog Beispiel 11 werden 2 Mol Benzylchlorid zu 25% HCl-Abspaltung kondensiert und überschüssiges Benzylchlorid im Vakuum abgezogen. In den harzig viskosen Rückstand rührt man dann in einem Guß bei Raumtemperatur 206 g (2 Mol) Diethylentriamin ein. Die allmählich einsetzende exotherme Reaktion wird durch Erwärmen auf 110°C vervollständigt. Nach 2 h bei dieser Temperatur destilliert man überschüssiges Amin im Vakuum bis zu einer Sumpftemperatur um 100°C ab und erhält 105 g (99.2% d. Th.) eines honigfarbenen, viskosen Harzes (Hydrochlorid), das in Wasser mit seifiger Konsistenz löslich ist.

- In 47,5 g (0,075 Mol) des Polybenzylchloridharzes gemäß Beispiel 5 rührt man bei Raumtemperatur 189,3 g (1 Mol) Tetraethylenpentamin ein, bringt auf 110°C und hält 2 h bei dieser Temperatur. Nach Entfernung des Aminüberschusses im Vakuum erhält man 65 g (∼ 100% d.Th.) eines bräunlichen, klebrigen Harzes (HCl-Form), das sich zu einer wäßrigen Lösung verarbeiten läßt.

- Analog Beispiel 11 werden 126,6 g (1 Mol) Benzylchlorid, 26,3 g (0,15 Mol) o-Xylylenchlorid und 0,15 g Zn-Stearat unter 25%iger Abspaltung von HCl cokondensiert und nach Abziehen von überschüssigen Monomeren im Vakuum der harzige Rückstand (59,0 g; 15% verseifbares Cl) mit 73,1 g (0,5 Mol) Triethylentetramin umgesetzt. Man erhält 93,5 g (∼ 100% d. Th.) eines klebrigen, viskosen Harzes, das sich zu einer 50%igen wäßrigen Lösung compoundieren läßt (idealisierte Formel):
- 126,6 g (1 Mol) Benzylchlorid und 0,1 g Zn-Stearat werden analog Beispiel 8 mit 50%iger Abspaltung von HCl kondensiert, die Reaktion durch Zugabe von 2-3 Tropfen Triethylentetramin abgebrochen, dann _ ohne Entfernung des überschüssigen Benzylchlorids _ 14,6 g (0,1 Mol) Triethylentetramin innerhalb von 30 Min. bei 100°C eingetropft. Man rührt 30 Min. bei dieser Temperatur nach, gibt 100 ml Toluol und eine Lösung von 20 g (0,5 Mol) NaOH in 50 ml Wasser hinzu und hält noch 3 h bei Rückfluß. Nach Erkalten trennt man die organische Phase ab, wäscht mit Wasser und engt im Vakuum bis zu einer Sumpftemperatur von ca. 150°C ein: 99,8 g (95,3% d. Th.) bräunliches, viskoses, nicht wasserlösliches Harz.

- 253,2 g (2 Mol) Benzylchlorid und 0,3 g Zn-Stearat werden analog Beispiel 11 unter 30% Abspaltung HCl kondensiert, die Reaktion mit 2-3 Tropfen Diethylentriamin abgestoppt, dann das Benzylchloridgemisch unter Rühren in eine Mischung von 62 g (0,6 Mol) Diethylentriamin, 64 g (1,6 Mol) Ätznatron, 150 ml H₂O und 100 ml Toluol binnen 1 h bei 60-95°C eingetropft. Man hält noch 3 h bei Rückflußtemperatur, trennt die organische Phase ab und engt im Vakuum bis zu einer Sumpftemperatur von 150°C ein: 235 g (97% d.Th.) orange-bräunliches, viskoses Öl.

- Die Versuche wurden unter folgenden Bedingungen durchgeführt: Der Korrosionsinhibitor wird, gegebenenfalls in Kombination mit einem Acetylenalkohol, in Salzsäure gelöst bzw. dispergiert. Dabei ist es empfehlenswert, zuvor eine Formulierung aus einem mit Wasser bzw. Salzsäure mischbaren Lösungsmittel und einem Tensid herzustellen. Bevorzugte Lösungsmittel sind niedere Alkohole, Ketone oder Glykole sowie Dimethylformamid, Formamid, Acetonitril, N-Methylpyrrolidon. In die Salzsäure wird ein entfetteter Stahlcoupon gegeben. Nach 6 Stunden wird der Gewichtsverlust des Coupons bestimmt und in eine Oberflächenabtragsgeschwindigkeit umgerechnet.

- Ein 2 l-Zweihalskolben wird mit einem 400 ml Soxhlet-Extraktor und einem Rückflußkühler versehen. Zwischen Extraktor und Rückflußkühler wird ein weiteres Glasrohr angebracht, in welches Zutropfhähne für die Inhibitorlösung hineingeführt werden. Je 2 Metallcoupons aus ST 37-Stahl werden so aufgehängt, daß sich zwei im Soxhlet-Extraktor, also in der Flüssigphase, und zwei im Gasraum unterhalb der Zutropfstellen für die Inhibitorlösung befinden. Das letztere Couponpaar wird so plaziert, daß die Inhibitorlösung direkt auf die Coupons tropft.
- In dem Kolben wird nun ca. 1 l eines Gemisches aus aromatischen und aliphatischen Kohlenwasserstoffen, z.B. Diesel, Kerosin, Benzin oder auch künstlich hergestellte Gemische, 100 ml H₂S-gesättigtes Wasser und 20 ml 30%ige Salzsäure vorgelegt. Es wird erhitzt und bei Siedebeginn wird nun die Inhibitorlösung mit einer Tropfgeschwindigkeit von ca. 0,4 ml pro Minute zugetropft. Bei der Inhibitorlösung handelt es sich um einen Kohlenwasserstoff, in welchem der Wirkstoff mit einer Konzentration von 50-1000 ppm gelöst ist. Nach etwa 4 Stunden ist der Testlauf beendet, die Coupons werden gravimetrisch ausgewertet und mit dem Blindwert verglichen.
- Blanke und entfettete Kupferproben wurden für den Korrosionstest verwendet. Als Testlösung diente künstliches Meerwasser nach ASTM D665-IP135, welchem die zu untersuchende Substanz zugegeben wurde. Während der Versuchsdauer von 7,5 Stunden befanden sich die Metallproben vollkommen eingetaucht in der 55°C warmen Testlösung, in die ca. 100 ml Luft/min eingeleitet wurde.
- Nach dem Test wurden die Proben 15 Sekunden lang in halbkonzentrierter Salzsäure gereinigt und mit Wasser und Aceton gewaschen. Vor und nach dem Test wurden die trockenen Metallproben gewogen. Aus dem Massenverlust wurde die protentiale Schutzwirkung S, bezogen auf eine Blindprobe, berechnet:

Die Ergebnisse der prozentialen Schutzwirkung sind in der Tabelle 3 angegeben. - Blanke und entfettete Metallproben aus unlegiertem Stahl RST 14-03 nach DIN 1623 wurden 24 Stunden lang in korrosivem Wasser nach ASTM D1384-70 belassen. Durch die Testlösung, die die zu untersuchende Substanz enthielt, wurde ca. 100 ml Luft/min geleitet. Die Versuchstemperatur betrug 20°C. Der pH-Wert der Testlösung war 7-8 und wurde, wenn nötig, mit verdünnter Natronlauge bzw. verdünnter Schwefelsäure eingestellt.
- Nach dem Test wurden die Metallproben 15 Sekunden in halbkonzentrierter Salzsäure gereinigt und mit Wasser und Aceton gewaschen. Vor und nach dem Test wurden die trockenen Metallproben gewogen. Aus dem Massenverlust wurde die prozentiale Schutzwirkung S, bezogen auf eine Blindprobe, berechnet. Die Ergebnisse sind in der Tabelle 4 angegeben.
- Es wurden die Massenverluste von Proben aus unlegiertem Stahl RST 14-03 in 10% iger Salzsäure und in 10%iger Schwefelsäure bestimmt. Die Temperatur der Säure betrug 50°C, die Versuchszeit 3 Stunden.

Neben Ammoniak kommen als primäre und sekundäre Amine der Formel (III) beispielsweise in Frage:
kann so erfolgen, daß man Mono-C₇- bis C₁₈-Aralkylhalogenide der Formel (V)

wobei mindestens einer der Reste R¹ bis R⁴ C₇-C₁₈-Aralkyl oder Poly-C₇-C₁₈-Aralkyl bedeutet, und
als Korrosionsinhibitoren für metallische Werkstoffe.
