Diese Verwendung eines Differentialgetriebes ermöglicht die Bewerkstelligung einer praktisch unbegrenzten gegenseitigen Verdrehung der Ritzel 42, 43. Hierbei ist es daher möglich, den Abstand der Scherenschnittmesser 15 von den Falzklappen 13 so zu vergrößern, daß die Scherenschnittmesser 15 und die infolge des Zahneingriffs zwischen den Antriebsrädern 35 und 37 automatisch mitverstellten Gegenscherenschnittmesser 16 erst hinterhalb der Hinterkante des in den vorauslaufenden Falzklappen 13 aufgenommenen Falzprodukts in gegenseitigen Eingriff kommen, was praktisch einer Passivierung der Glattschnitteinrichtung 17 entspricht. Zur Bildung des HD-Getriebes ist die die Ritzel 42, 43 aufnehmende Achse 41 im Bereich zwischen den beiden Ritzeln mit einem eliptischen Bund 48 versehen, auf dem ein elastischer, außen verzahnter Ring 49 gelagert ist, der mit zwei nebeneinander angeordneten, innen verzahnten, steifen Ringen 50 bzw. 51 im Eingriff ist, die an den einander zugewandten Stirnseiten der nebeneinander angeordneten Ritzel 42 bzw. 43 befestigt sind. Durch Drehen der Achse und damit des eliptischen Bunds 48 ergibt sich eine gegenseitige Verdrehung der steifen Ringe 50, 51 und damit der fest hiermit verbundenen Ritzel 42, 43 und der mit diesen kämmenden Antriebsräder 34, 35. Die Achse 41 ist zur Bewerkstelligung einer derartigen Drehbewegung drehbar in der Seitenwand 1 bzw. der hierzu parallelen Kastenwand gelagert und mit einem aus dem Getriebekasten 31 herausgeführten Antriebsstutzen 44 versehen, der, wie in Figur 2 angedeutet ist, mit einem Handrad 45 versehen sein kann, wobei zur Bewerkstelligung einer Fixierung ebenfalls eine Knebelschraube 46 vorgesehen sein kann. Bei dem der Figur 3 zugrundeliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel ist dagegen zur Bewerkstelligung einer Verdrehung der Achse 41 ein Stellmotor 52 vorgesehen. Dieser ist zur Erzielung einer kompakten Anordnung mit zur Mittellängsachse der Achse 41 lotrechter Mittellängsachse angeordnet. Auf den Antriebsstutzen 44 ist dementsprechend ein Kegelrad aufgekeilt, das mit einem auf die Motorwelle aufgekeilten Kegelrad im Eingriff ist. Der Stellmotor 52 kann von einem Bedienungspult aus fernbedient werden. Zur weiteren Bedienungsvereinfachung ist bei dem der Figur 3 zugrundeliegenden Beispiel eine Anzeigeeinrichtung 53 vorgesehen, die den eingestellten Abstand der Scherenschnittmesser 15 von der jeweils vorauslaufenden Falzklappe 13 anzeigt. Im dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel besitzt die Anzeigeeinrichtung 53 ein mit einem auf dem Antriebsstutzen 44 angeordneten Ritzel kämmendes Antriebsrad, durch das sich entweder ein einer Skala zugeordneter Zeiger oder etwa ein elektrischer Meßwertaufnehmer in Form eines Drehkondensators etc. verstellen läßt.In order to achieve a compact design, the differential gear 47, as already indicated above, is designed as an HD gear, which can best be seen from FIG. 3. Der dem Antriebsrad 35 benachbarte, den größeren Durchmesser aufweisende Zahnkranz 34a, der im Bereich des Überbrückungsgetriebes mit Spiel zwischen die entsprechenden Abstand aufweisenden Ritzel 42, 43 eingreift, kämmt dabei mit dem Antriebsrad 33 des Falzmesser-Armaturenträgers des Sammelzylinders 3. Der als auf der Innenseite angesetzter Ring ausgebildete, den kleineren Durchmesser aufweisende Zahnkranz 34b kämmt dabei mit dem zugeordneten Ritzel 42. Der Durchmesser des Zahnkranzes 34b entspricht dementsprechend dem Durchmesser des mit dem anderen Ritzel 43 kämmenden Antriebsrads 35. Der Unterschied der Zähnezahl zwischen den Zahnkränzen 34a und 34b entspricht dem doppelten Unterschied zwischen den Zähnezahlen des elastischen Rings 49 und der steifen Ringe 50, 51, womit sich ein voller Ausgleich ergibt, d.h. womit eine synchrone Drehbewegung der Armaturenträger 21 und 22 des Falzzylinders gewährleistet ist.The externally toothed, elastic ring 49 and the internally toothed, rigid rings 50, 51 of the HD transmission have different numbers of teeth. Claims (10)

1. A folder for the production of products which are folded at least once transversely and are cut parallel to the transverse fold, comprising a transverse cutting device (8), at least one transverse folding device (14) and at least one smooth cutting device (17), which consists of shear cutting knives (15), which are arranged on a folding cylinder (4) which is provided with folding jaws (13), which cooperate with folding blades (12) of a collect cylinder (3), in the part between the folding jaws (13), and at least one counter cutting knife (16) mounted on the knife cylinder (5) in engagement with a circumferential section of the folding cylinder (4) leaving the collect cylinder (3), said knife (16) cooperating with the knives (15), characterized in that the folding cylinder (4) consists of at least two coaxial fixture support (21 and 22) which are able to be turned in relation to each other and to be driven at the same speed, and which are provided with folding jaws (13) and, respectively, shear cutting knives (15) and furthermore with coaxial drive wheels (34 and 35), which by means of an adjustable bridging drive (40) are drivingly connected together, the drive wheel (35) of the one fixture support (22) bearing the shear cutting knives (15) being in engagement with a drive wheel (37) of the knife cylinder (5) and the drive wheel of the fixture support (21) bearing the folding jaws (13) is in engagement with a drive wheel (33) associated with the folding blades (12) of the collect cylinder (3).

The folder as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the drive wheel (34 and 35) which are connected together by the bridging drive (40), which preferably comprises a differential drive (47), are drivingly connected together, are arranged adjacent to each other and are connected with a respective shaft (25) in the form of a hollow shaft having the other shaft (26) fitted in it, and in that the bridging drive (40) has an adjustable shaft (41), which is parallel to the shaft (25 and 26) of the drive wheels (34 and 35), on which shaft (41) two pinions (42 and 43) are rotatably arranged which are drivingly connected together and are in mesh with the drive wheels (34 and 35).

The folder as claimed in claim 2, characterized in that the pinions (42 and 43) are bearinged separately from each other on the shaft (41) and are drivingly connected with each other by a harmonic drive (47) in the form of a differential drive, said harmonic drive having two internally toothed gear rings (50 and 51) each connected with a pinion (42 and, respectively, 43), such rings being in engagement with a common, externally toothed elastic ring (49), into which there is fitted an elliptical collar (48), which is fixed to the shaft carrying the pinions (42 and 43) which shaft is able to be adjusted by means of an adjustment device in the direction of rotation.

The folder as claimed in claim 3, characterized in that one of the drive wheels, preferably the drive wheel (34) driving the fixture support (21) bearing the folding jaws (13), has two gear rings (34a and 34b), which have different diameters and of which one is in mesh with the associated drive wheel (33) of the collect cylinder and the other is in mesh with a pinion (42) of the bridging drive (40), the difference in speed caused by the difference between the diameters of the gear rings (41a, 41b) corresponding to the difference in speed caused between the two internally toothed rings (50 and 51) of the harmonic drive.

The folder as claimed in claim 4, characterized in that the gear ring (34b), which has the smaller diameter, which corresponds to the diameter of the other drive wheel (35), and which is preferably in the form of a laterally arranged ring, is in mesh with the pinion (42) and the gear ring (34a) having the larger diameter is in mesh with the drive wheel (33) on the collect cylinder side.

The folder as claimed in any one of the preceding claims 2 through 6, characterized in that the shaft (41) mounting the pinions (42 and 43) is bearinged on a side frame (1) of the machine and on a box wall, extending parallel to it, of a gear box (31) positioned thereon, and is provided with a drive tube (44) extending through the box wall, on which tube a setting wheel (45 and, respectively, 55) of the setting device is arranged, which is adapted to be driven preferably by a servo motor (52) and is in the form of a bevel wheel which cooperates with a bevel arranged on the shaft of the servo motor arranged perpendicularly to the shaft (41).
7. The folder as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that an adjustable indicating device (53) is associated with the bridging drive (40) and is able to be adjusted synchronously with it.

The folder as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the collect cylinder (3) also consists of at least two coaxially arranged and oppositely rotatable fixture supports (23 and 24) adapted to be driven at the same speed, which are provided with the folding blades (12) and, respectively, with pins (11) or grippers and knife bars (7) and also with coaxial drive wheels (32 and 33), which are connected by means of an adjustable bridging drive (39) drivingly, and the drive wheel (33) of the fixture support (24), bearing the folding blades (12), is in cooperation with the gear ring (34a), having the larger diameter, of the fixture support (21) associated with the folding jaws (13) and the other driving wheel (32) is in cooperation with a driven drive wheel (36) of a cutting cylinder (2) positioned in engagement with the collect cylinder (3).

The folder as claimed in any one of the preceding claims 2 through 8, characterized in that the bridging drive (39 and, respectively, 40) comprises two permanently connected helical pinions (42 and 43) which preferably rotate in opposite directions, which may be adjusted by means of the shaft (41) mounting them in the axial direction in relation to the helical drive wheels (32 and 33) which are in engagement with them and are also turned in opposite directions.
10. The folder as claimed in any one of the preceding claims 2 through 9, characterized in that the shaft (41) mounting the pinions is arrested by means of a clamping device (46).
