Definitions

  • the invention relates to a plate grinding machine designed as a hand-held device, with a grinding plate driven by a drive shaft for a rotational movement, a handle projecting laterally in the direction away from the machine housing, and a dust extraction device which has a suction space that covers the upper side of the grinding plate by a distance and spans the circumference of the grinding plate and the suction hood fixed to the machine housing with a bristle ring or the like seated on a workpiece. has on the underside, wherein the bristle ring extends only a part of the circumference of the suction hood while leaving a visible area to the workpiece, and wherein the grinding dust or the like between the grinding plate circumference and the bristle ring. through to the suction chamber.
  • the present invention is therefore based on the object to provide a disc grinder of the type mentioned, in which a bristle ring or the like. unhindered machining of workpieces with any sanding pad area is possible, without the dust extraction suffering as a result.
  • the measures required for this should be as simple as possible and easy to use.
  • suction hood rotatably arranged on the connecting part to the machine housing of the suction hood independently of the grinding plate and the like or the bristle ring. contains supporting lower part and that the handle is a twist grip which is drivingly connected to the lower part of the suction hood via a gear.
  • the grinding plate circumference is only partially or the like through the bristle ring. covered. Since this can be rotated around the sanding plate together with the lower part of the hood, it can be rotated into the circumferential position where the dust is generated, so that the sanding plate can be attached to the workpiece in any position and always has good dust extraction.
  • the processing point is visible and you get the further advantage that you can use the grinding plate or the like in workpiece joints. can get to practically with any peripheral area of the grinding plate, without the bristle ring or the like. is a hindrance.
  • the plate grinder is held on the handle, which protrudes sideways as usual, so that, since the handle is designed as a rotary handle in driving connection with the lower part of the hood, the bristle ring position can be adjusted while holding and guiding the machine during workpiece machining without releasing the handle . You can thus keep the grinding machine different from the workpiece without interrupting the grinding and the bristle ring or the like. so that it always starts next to the current processing point. Without this measure, the machine would have to be lifted off the workpiece to turn the lower part of the hood and one would have to reach down to the lower part of the hood in the area of the grinding plate with the other hand, which would be dangerous and cumbersome. In addition, such machines are held regularly with both hands, so that the second hand would not be available for this.

  • the disc body 14 of the lower part 9 is rotatably mounted.
  • the retaining ring 21 is connected to the disk body 14 by means of screws 22 accessible from the grinding plate 5.
  • the retaining ring 21 resting on the bearing shoulder 20 secures the disk body 14 at the same time in the axial direction towards the grinding plate 5. Since the retaining ring 18 projects freely radially inwards, the inlet opening 17 is divided into opening segments 17a-17d which are separated from one another by ribs 23 and are successive in the circumferential direction. The ribs 23 serve to hold the inner circumferential area of the bearing ring 18. When the above and in the following are referred to as the annular opening 17, the division into the opening segments 17a-17d is of course also recorded.

At the two ends of the circumferential edge of the lower part 9, which is angled downwards and forms an outer boundary of the gap 10, sealing body pieces 29, 30 adjoining the sealing body 28 can be attached, which seal against the circumference of the grinding plate.
  • the sealing body 28 can also extend in an arc around the central disk body region and thus also around the drive shaft 4. Such dust particles, which are not captured by the passage opening 15, are thrown against this arcuate sealing body at the rear end of the bristle ring region in the direction of rotation 16 and are guided from this to the front end of the passage opening 17. As shown, the sealing body can run in a spiral-like manner with a radius that becomes smaller in the direction of rotation 16. So that any dust particles that may escape to the outside can be caught again, the sealing body 28 can form a passage 31 which is open in the direction of rotation at the front end as seen in the direction of rotation 16. The sealing body 28 is interrupted accordingly at this point. The invention relates to a plate grinding machine designed as a hand-held device, with a grinding plate driven by a drive shaft for a rotational movement, a handle projecting laterally in the direction away from the machine housing, and a dust extraction device which has a suction space that covers the upper side of the grinding plate by a distance and spans the circumference of the grinding plate and the suction hood fixed to the machine housing with a bristle ring or the like seated on a workpiece. has on the underside, wherein the bristle ring extends only a part of the circumference of the suction hood while leaving a visible area to the workpiece, and wherein the grinding dust or the like between the grinding plate circumference and the bristle ring. through to the suction chamber.

With the help of a plate grinding machine equipped in this way, the respective processing point can be viewed. However, this only if the plate grinder is held so that the bristle ring or the like. free grinding plate area attacks the workpiece. However, this is often not possible depending on the local conditions or the shape of the workpiece. Even if the workpiece with the bristle ring or the like is not. can edit enclosed grinding plate area, there is the disadvantage that often between the local processing point and the beginning of the bristle ring or the like. there is a distance so that the tangentially flung dust is not caught by the bristle ring, but flies past it on the outside and is therefore not extracted.

The present invention is therefore based on the object to provide a disc grinder of the type mentioned, in which a bristle ring or the like. unhindered machining of workpieces with any sanding pad area is possible, without the dust extraction suffering as a result. The measures required for this should be as simple as possible and easy to use.

This object is achieved in that the suction hood rotatably arranged on the connecting part to the machine housing of the suction hood independently of the grinding plate and the like or the bristle ring. contains supporting lower part and that the handle is a twist grip which is drivingly connected to the lower part of the suction hood via a gear.

As before, the grinding plate circumference is only partially or the like through the bristle ring. covered. Since this can be rotated around the sanding plate together with the lower part of the hood, it can be rotated into the circumferential position where the dust is generated, so that the sanding plate can be attached to the workpiece in any position and always has good dust extraction. You can use the bristle ring or the like. turn in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation of the grinding plate so close to the respective processing point that the grinding dust or the like is thrown substantially tangentially away from the workpiece between the bristle ring or the like. and reaches the suction chamber through the grinding plate circumference. Here, the processing point is visible and you get the further advantage that you can use the grinding plate or the like in workpiece joints. can get to practically with any peripheral area of the grinding plate, without the bristle ring or the like. is a hindrance.

The plate grinder is held on the handle, which protrudes sideways as usual, so that, since the handle is designed as a rotary handle in driving connection with the lower part of the hood, the bristle ring position can be adjusted while holding and guiding the machine during workpiece machining without releasing the handle .

The plate grinding machine, which is designed as a hand-held device, is a so-called angle grinder. The elongated machine housing 1; 1 a comprises a motor part 2; 2a containing the drive motor and a machine head 3; 3a, in which a deflection gear is arranged and from whose underside the drive shaft 4; 4a, which extends at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the housing, projects, which has a grinding plate 5 ; 5a drives to a rotational movement. The grinding plate 5; 5a consists of grinding material or is provided with a grinding covering and is regularly held obliquely against the workpiece to be machined, so that it only engages the workpiece over a relatively small circumferential angle.

Dieser Winkelschleifer wird beidhändig gehalten. Zum Halten mit der einen Hand ist ein seitlich in Richtung vom Maschinengehäuse 1;1a abstehender Handgriff 6;6a vorhanden, der etwa oberhalb des Schleiftellers 5;5a angebracht ist. Mittels dieses Handgriffs 6;6a kann der Schleifteller 5;5a gegen das Werkstück gedrückt werden. Die andere Hand kann beispielsweise das längliche Maschinengehäuse 1;1 a umfaßen, wozu dieses griffgünstig ausgebildet sein kann.This angle grinder is held with both hands. For holding with one hand there is a handle 6; 6a which projects laterally in the direction from the machine housing 1; 1a and is attached approximately above the grinding plate 5; 5a. The grinding plate 5; 5a can be pressed against the workpiece by means of this handle 6; 6a. The other hand can, for example, encompass the elongated machine housing 1;

In order to avoid that the grinding dust occurring during grinding gets into the environment, a dust extraction device is provided which has a suction hood 7; 7a with a distance covering the upper side of the grinding plate and over the circumference of the grinding plate with a bristle ring 8; 8a or the like sitting on the workpiece . has at the bottom. Between the grinding plate circumference and the cross-over downwards, the bristle ring 8 or the like. supporting section there is an annular gap 10; 10a through which the grinding dust reaches a circumferential suction chamber 11; 11a in the suction hood 7; 7a. A dust extraction nozzle 12; 12a is attached to the circumference of the suction hood 7; 7a and is in open connection with the suction chamber 11; 11a. A vacuum cleaner or a dust bag can be connected to the suction nozzle 12; 12a. A blower, not shown, is used to generate the suction flow and can be arranged externally or also inside the machine, for example in the form of a blower wheel located on the drive shaft 4; 4a and located in the suction path.

The bristle ring 8; 8a or the like (there could also be a ring of plastic knobs or a sealing lip made of resilient material) seals the hood interior on the workpiece from the outside, so that the grinding dust cannot get out here. However, outside air can be drawn in through the bristles to maintain the suction flow.

The suction hood 7; 7a is fixed to the machine head 3; 3a concentrically to the drive shaft 4; 4a and is penetrated by the drive shaft 4; 4a. The grinding plate 5; 5a is fastened to the free end of the drive shaft 4; 4a, expediently screwed on.

The suction hood 7; 7a has an upper part 13; 13a facing the machine head 3; 3a, which is fastened to the machine head 3; 3a and contains the suction chamber 11; 11a. This suction chamber 11; 11 a is closed at the top and the circumference. Down, i.e. to the grinding plate 5; 5a, the suction chamber 11; 11a is open.

The suction hood 7; 7a also contains a hood lower part 9; 9a which is rotatably arranged on the upper part 13; 13a of the suction hood producing the connection to the machine housing 1; 1a, independently of the grinding plate 5; 5a. The bristle ring 8, 8a or the like. extends only over part of the circumference of the hood lower part 9; 9a, and expediently over an angular range of approximately 180 ° or less. The bristle ring 8; 8a free peripheral area of the lower hood part 9; 9a represents a viewing area in which the bristles can look unobstructedly at the grinding plate 5; 5a and the workpiece.

The rotatable on the upper part 13; 13a lower part 9; 9a is rotated when using the machine in such a rotational position that the bristle ring 8; 8a or the like. in the area of the workpiece processing point and lying next to it. Since the sanding dust enters the gap 10; 10a essentially tangentially to the direction of rotation 16; 16a of the sanding plate 5; 5a, the bristle ring 8; 8a seen in the direction of rotation 16; 16a is offset somewhat to the rear with respect to the processing point, so that it is in Direction of the dust thrown away at the processing point.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1-6, the hood lower part 9 has a disc body 14 which is opposite the upper side of the grinding plate and which covers the open underside of the upper part 13 located above it to the grinding plate 5, which is rotatably mounted and the bristle ring 8 or the like on the circumference . wearing. In the angular range of the bristle ring 8 or the like. the disc body 14 has a passage opening 15 through which the grinding dust can reach the upper part 13 and thus the suction chamber 11. The passage opening 15 in the disk body 14 expediently extends over a substantially the angular region of the bristle ring or the like. corresponding angular range, as shown in Fig. 6. The passage opening 15 may also have the shape of a partial ring, or the like, the bristle ring 8. or the angled towards the grinding plate and the bristle ring 8 or the like. supporting lower edge 9 runs along. The suction chamber 11 is open towards the disc body 14 via an annular opening 17. The radius of the partial ring forming the passage opening 15 essentially corresponds to the radius of the ring-shaped circumferential entry opening 17. Thus, in each rotational position of the disk body 14, the passage opening 15 is located opposite a corresponding circumferential area of the entry opening 17, while the remaining part of the entry opening 17 is covered.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1-6, the underside of the upper part 13 is formed by a bearing ring 18 screwed onto the end face, which protrudes radially inward from the circumference of the upper part below the suction chamber 11 and contains the annular inlet opening 17. On the inner circumference of the La gerrings 18, the disc body 14 of the lower part 9 is rotatably mounted. For this purpose, there is a radially inwardly projecting bearing shoulder 20 on the inner circumference of the bearing ring 18, which is engaged behind by a retaining ring 21 which is firmly connected to the disk body 14. The retaining ring 21 is connected to the disk body 14 by means of screws 22 accessible from the grinding plate 5. The retaining ring 21 resting on the bearing shoulder 20 secures the disk body 14 at the same time in the axial direction towards the grinding plate 5.

It goes without saying that the disk body 14 and thus the hood lower part 9 are non-displaceably pivoted in both axial directions, which also applies to the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 7-9, to which we will come back later. In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1-6, the lower hood part 9 is held downwards by the bearing shoulder 20. Since it or its disk body 14 rests on the upper part 13 or its bearing ring 18 from below, it cannot move upwards either.

The disk body 14 has a central passage recess 25, through which the drive shaft 4 is screwed to the grinding plate 5. The inner circumferential region 26 of the disk body 14 delimiting the passage recess 25 projects toward the upper part 13 and forms a centering for the retaining ring 21.

The disc body 14 is arranged at an axial distance from the top of the grinding plate 5 so that the grinding dust can reach the passage opening 15. In order to avoid the space 27 formed by this distance from the bristle ring 8 or the like. free circumferential area forth false air is sucked in to the passage opening 15, it is expediently provided that on the underside of the disk body 14 a protruding toward the grinding plate 5, the area of the passage opening 15 on the bristle ring 8 or the like. opposite side is arranged in the plane parallel to the disk body to the outside sealing body 28. This is expediently formed by a sealing web. Instead of this, it could also be formed by a bristle strip. The sealing web shown is integrally formed on the disc body 14. Thus, the space 27 between the grinding plate 5 and the wheel body 14 is laterally closed in the area where the passage opening 15 is located, so that air and only the grinding dust is sucked in through the peripheral gap 10 on the grinding plate.

The sealing body 28 expediently runs from the region of one end to the region of the other end of the bristle ring 8 or the angled peripheral lower edge of the bristle, which extends around the passage opening 15. At the two ends of the circumferential edge of the lower part 9, which is angled downwards and forms an outer boundary of the gap 10, sealing body pieces 29, 30 adjoining the sealing body 28 can be attached, which seal against the circumference of the grinding plate.

The sealing body 28 can also extend in an arc around the central disk body region and thus also around the drive shaft 4. The passage 31 is adjacent to the front end of the passage opening 17, so that the dust particles are sucked off practically directly through it.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 7-9, the lower hood part 9a does not extend, or only slightly, radially inwards into the space between the grinding plate 5a and the upper hood part 13a. Viewed in cross section, the wall of the upper part 13a merges essentially continuously into the wall of the hood lower part 9a. The hood lower part 9a is rotatably mounted on the underside of the upper part 13a in the region of its outer circumference. For this purpose, in this exemplary embodiment, the disk body is shortened, so to speak, to a retaining ring 21a, with which the hood lower part 9a bears against the underside of the upper part 13a. For rotatably fixing the integrally formed retaining ring 21 a of the lower part 9a, which protrudes radially inwards, there is a bearing ring 18a with an L-shaped cross section, which is screwed to the upper part 13a with screws 22a accessible from the grinding plate 5a and the retaining ring 21a reaches under. The bearing ring 18a engages somewhat in the upper part 13a and lies against the circumferential wall from the inside. The screws 22a engage through thickenings 50 formed on the inner circumference of the bearing ring 18a and are screwed into corresponding formations 51 on the inside of the upper part 13a.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 7-9, the lower hood part 9a has a peripheral edge that surrounds the grinding plate. In contrast, in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1-6, this edge, which is angled downward, extends only over the circumferential angle of the bristle ring. In both embodiments, however, both variants are possible, the variant with a peripheral edge having the advantage that dust particles can be trapped all around. The peripheral edge replaces, so to speak Sealing body 28 of the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1-6. It goes without saying that the peripheral edge ends somewhat above the underside of the grinding plate 5a, so that its lower peripheral edge is exposed. The bristle ring 8a or the like. bearing edge portion 52 is radially offset with respect to the remaining edge area, as can be seen from FIGS. 7 and 8, so that here the gap 10a is formed, while the remaining edge area is closer to the periphery of the grinding plate.

From Fig. 8 also shows that the bristle ring 8a or the like. runs spirally, so that the gap 10a narrows in the direction of rotation 16a. Accordingly, the edge portion 52 carrying the bristle ring also runs spirally. The dust particles are thrown into the gap 10a at the wider end thereof. This can also be provided in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1-6.

The bristle ring 8a can be formed by a bristle strip 53 which has a strip body 54 which is inserted into an annular groove 54 of the lower part 9a and from which the bristles protrude. If the bristles are worn out, the bristle strip 53 can be replaced very easily. This can also be provided in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1-6.

Furthermore, it is pointed out in this connection that in the arrangement according to FIGS. 7-9, a disc body corresponding to the disc body 14 of the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1-6 can also be provided on the lower part of the hood, just as in the arrangement according to FIGS 1 - 6 could store the lower part of the hood on the outer circumference of the underside of the upper part.

In both embodiments, the upper part 13; 13a essentially the shape of a flat, to the grinding plate 5; 5a open can, which is covered by the disc body 14 in the embodiment of FIGS. 1-6.

Furthermore, in both exemplary embodiments, the suction hood 7; 7a is an additional part which is arranged between the grinding plate 5; 5a and the machine housing 1; 1a and is detachably fastened to the latter. In this way, the suction hood can also be completely removed, especially if you are working on those workpiece points where it is a hindrance due to space constraints or where the sanding plate should be visible all around. In addition, you can retrofit a machine that is not equipped with a suction hood from scratch.

On the underside of the housing head 3; 3a is a drive shaft 4; 4a coaxial cylindrical housing projection 40; 40a. The upper part 13; 13a of the suction hood can be plugged onto this housing projection 40; 40a by the upper part 13; 13a having a corresponding cylindrical push-on sleeve 41; 41a owns. The hood upper part 13; 13a and with it the entire suction hood can be clamped to the housing projection 40; 40a.

For this purpose, an eccentric lever 42 is present in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1-6, which is operated by hand. The eccentric lever 42 is pivotably attached to the upper part 13 about a pivot axis 43 running parallel to the drive shaft 4 and engages with its clamping end through the plug sleeve 41 which is interrupted here. The clamping end is designed as an eccentric so that its pivoting part 42 is clamped against the housing projection 40 by pivoting the eccentric lever 42 is, so that the upper part 13 and with it the entire suction hood 7 is held. The eccentric lever 42 sits in front of the machine head 3 on the top of the upper part 13 and is therefore easily accessible. His lever arm, which can be gripped by hand, protrudes to the side.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 7-9, on the other hand, there is a clamping screw 55 which is screwed radially through the hood upper part 13a and which carries an actuating lever 56 on the outside for easier turning and presses with its end face against the housing projection 40a. To receive the clamping screw 55, the hood upper part 13a has an elevation 57 on its upper side.

Entsprechendes gilt bei Verwendung des Exzenterhebels 42.In any case, the of the push-on sleeve 41; 41 a formed plug-in opening of the hood upper part 13; 13a to adapt to the diameter of the housing projection 40; 40a a slotted insert ring 58 can be assigned, which can be clamped against the housing projection 40, 40a. This is only shown in the variant according to FIGS. 7-9. In this way, the same suction hood can be used for machines with different housing projections 40; 40a by inserting the appropriate insert ring 58 into the push-on sleeve 41. The clamping screw 55 then presses against the slotted insert ring 58 so that it is clamped against the housing projection 40a. The same applies accordingly when using the eccentric lever 42.

So that one does not have to reach for rotating the lower hood part 9; 9a, a drive device is assigned to it. For this purpose, the already mentioned handle 6, 6a is designed as a rotary handle, which is connected in a driving manner to the hood lower part 9; 9a stands. The handle 6, which has an elongated shape and is oriented transversely to the drive shaft 4; 4a of the grinding plate 5; 5a, can thus be rotated about its own axis, the hood lower part 9; 9a and with it the bristle ring 8; 8a or the like turns with. In this way, the handle 6; 6a holding hand during the grinding process, the bristle ring is brought to the most favorable location for dust extraction.

The transmission can be a rope or belt transmission. In the cable gearing of the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1-6, the lower hood part 9 is in a driving connection with the rotary handle 6 via a cable pull 32. This cable pull 32 is formed by a cable which runs similarly to an eight-shaped double loop, the individual cables 33, 34 of which are at right angles to one another. Here, a single loop 33 is guided on the circumference of the hood upper part 13 and fastened to the hood lower part 9, while the other single loop 34 loops around and is fastened to the rotary handle 6, the two individual loops 33, 34 on one deflecting device 35 arranged on the hood upper part 13, for example a roller or a deflecting bolt, merge into one another. The handle 6 carries at its end facing the machine head a drive pulley 36 with a larger diameter than the handle 6, on the circumference of which the cable is attached at 37, the single loop 34 of which runs in a circumferential groove of the drive pulley 36. The deflection device 35 is located below the handle 6 on the upper part 13, in such a way that the cable deflected at the deflection device 35 is arranged on both sides of the deflection device 35 at the level of a circumferential groove provided on the lower part 9 of the hood, in which the single loop 33 is guided. To attach the cable to the lower part 9 of the hood, a cable holder 38 stands on its outside up to the height of the circumferential groove of the upper part 13 which guides the single cable loop 33. If you turn the handle 6 in one direction or the other, the rope attached to the handle at 37 is taken along. The lower individual loop 33 slips in the circumferential groove of the hood part and takes the pulley body 14 with it via the cable holder 38.

In contrast, in the embodiment according to FIGS. 7 and 9, the transmission is a gear transmission. The rotary handle 6a carries at its end region opposite the free handle end a coaxial gear wheel 60 which is in engagement with a toothed ring 61 arranged on the lower hood part 9a. Similar to the rotary handle 6, the rotary handle 6a has a radially projecting drive disk 36a, on the opposite side of the free handle end of which the toothed wheel 60 is arranged, the teeth of which are located on the circumference of the drive disk 36a, which in the exemplary embodiment is a bevel gear. The hood lower part 9a protrudes in the radial direction above the hood upper part 13a and carries the ring gear 61 on the projecting area. The ring gear 61 is located on the top of the projecting area of the hood lower part 9a. When the handle 6a is rotated, the hood lower part 9a rotates under the gear 60. In the exemplary embodiment, the gear wheel 60 and the ring gear 61 are integrally formed on the rotary handle 6a or on the hood lower part 9a, but in principle it could also be separate and correspondingly fastened parts.

Another option for the rotary drive would be a flexible shaft between the rotary handle and the lower part of the hood.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1-6, the rotary handle 6 is located on the machine housing 1 and thereby on the machine head 3. However, as is shown in the embodiment according to FIGS. 7-9, it is more practical that the rotary handle 6a on Hood upper part 13a is arranged. The suction hood can then be completely prefabricated, including the rotary drive of the hood lower part and the rotary handle, and can then be attached to the machine head as a whole.

If, as in the exemplary embodiment, it is a relatively flat hood upper part 13a, a lever-supporting element 62, on which the axis of rotation is seated, can stand up from the top of the hood upper part 13a in the region of the circumference thereof for the rotary mounting of the rotary handle 6a. There is then enough space for gripping the rotary handle 6a by hand.

In Fig. 7, the rotary handle 6a with the gear 60 is below the plane of the drawing and is therefore covered by the machine housing 1 a.

A variant of the rotary handle arranged on the hood upper part is shown schematically in FIG. 10. This rotary handle 6b is arranged above the hood upper part 13b, for which purpose a rotary handle support element 45 stands up from the upper part 13b, between which and the rotary handle 6b there is a rotary bearing. On the rotary handle 6b there is a drive pulley 36b, for example for a cable drive or with a gear wheel. For the sake of understanding, the hood lower part 9b, the bristle ring 8b and the machine head 3b are also given a reference number in FIG. 10. In the two exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 1-9, as already mentioned, a dust extraction connection 12; 12a connected to the hood upper part 13; 13a is attached to the extraction chamber 11; 11a. This can protrude essentially tangentially from the circumference of the upper hood part 13; 13a, it being expediently arranged on the side of the upper hood part 13; 13a opposite the rotary handle 6; 6a so that it faces away from the hand holding the rotary handle 6; 6a. So that the suction nozzle 12; 12a does not hinder the attachment of the suction hood to the machine, the arrangement can also be such that the suction nozzle 12; 12a does not protrude upwards over the hood upper part 13; 13a on the side opposite the hood lower part 9; 9a. In the hood upper part 13; 13a in the area of the mouth of the dust extraction nozzle 12; 12a or a corresponding suction channel a dust guide plate 63 or the like preventing the dust from being blown past the mouth. be arranged, which extends from the top of the hood upper part 13; 13a in the suction chamber 11; 11a to the grinding plate 5; 5a. The dust deflector plate 63 or the like. is indicated by dashed lines in Fig. 8, it is molded onto the underside of the upper part, which is not visible here.

The dust extraction from the extraction chamber to the outside could take place instead of through the nozzle 12; 12a also through a suction channel 11b penetrating the rotary handle 6b (FIG. 10). In the variant according to FIG. 10, the suction channel 11b thus runs in the rotary handle 6b, then in the support element 45 and then through the upper side of the hood upper part 13b into the suction space contained therein.

In order to facilitate the attachment or removal of the grinding plate 5; 5a to or from the drive shaft 4; 4a, this can be determined. For this purpose, a spring-loaded locking plate 46; 46a, which can be actuated from the outside and can be moved back and forth transversely to the drive shaft 4; 4a and which, in its active position, engages around the drive shaft 4; 4a in a fork-like manner and thereby holds it in a rotationally fixed manner. The illustrated locking plate 46; 46a has a fork slot 47 (see FIG. 5) which has an area 48 with a larger one Diameter than the drive shaft 4 and a region 49 with a diameter holding the drive shaft. During normal operation of the machine, this locking plate 46; 46a is in the position in which the drive shaft 4, 4a penetrates the fork slot area 48 of larger diameter. If you want to determine the drive shaft to replace the grinding plate, you move the locking plate so that the area 49 of the fork slot 47 reaches the drive shaft 4, 4a and this is held. The fork legs 46 ', 46 ";46'a, 46 " b running on both sides of the drive shaft can also be seen from FIGS. 2 and 7. Since the locking plate 46a of the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 7-9 can correspond to the locking plate 46, no reference numbers have been entered in FIG. 8 for its details.

At the level of the locking plate, the drive shaft is provided with flats for the attack of the fork legs, in Fig. 7 this drive shaft section is shown at 65.

Zum Feststellen der Antriebswelle zieht man aussen an einer mit der Arretierplatte 46; 46a verbundenen Handhabe 51;51a entgegen der Kraft der Feder 50.The locking plate 46; 46a is or the like on suitably arranged in the upper part 13; 13a. slidable back and forth. 7 two bearing webs 66, 67 are indicated. It is also spring-loaded, for which purpose a spring 50, which is connected on the one hand to the locking plate 46; 46a and on the other hand to the hood upper part, is used, which is only shown in FIGS. 5 and 6. This spring 50 holds the locking plate in the position in which the drive shaft 4; 4a penetrates the slot area 48 of larger diameter. To lock the drive shaft, pull on the outside with the locking plate 46; 46a connected handle 51; 51a against the force of the spring 50.

It is also expedient that the hood lower part 9; 9a has an opening 68 (see FIG. 9) on the circumference for the passage of a tool engaging with the grinding plate 5; 5a, with which the grinding plate screwed onto the drive shaft is held while the drive shaft is held in place can detach from this. In Fig. 9, this interruption 68, which has the shape of a slot, is located on the circumferential edge of the lower part of the hood projecting downwards and in the region of the bristle strip 53, which is partially visible here through the opening 68.

At the level of the opening 68, there is a fixed nut 70 on the upper side of the grinding plate, into which the drive shaft is screwed and with which the tool comes into engagement.

In principle, the suction hood could also be a machine-fixed part, for example in that the hood top part is attached to the housing in one piece or by a fixed connection. However, it can be seen that a detachably attached suction hood is more appropriate.
