Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a water outlet fitting with one or more outlet mouthpieces, at least one outlet mouthpiece being connected to the fitting body via a hose which can be pulled out of a guide, and means are provided by which the hose is withdrawn into the guide when the outlet mouthpiece is returned.
In the known fittings of this type, the shower hose is weighted down for return. The weight is arranged below the washbasin and takes up a relatively large amount of space. Here it can also not be completely ruled out that the shower hose with the weight before it is completely returned to the supply lines for the outlet fitting or to objects that have been placed under the wash basin, comes to rest, so that there is then only a defective return . In addition, considerable costs are incurred for the production of the weight and its installation on the shower hose.
The invention has for its object to improve the handling of the shower hose in a water outlet fitting according to the preamble of
This object is achieved by the features specified in the characterizing part of
Further refinements of the invention are specified in
The advantages achieved by the invention are, in particular, that when the shower hose is pulled out, a spring element is tensioned, which ensures that the shower hose is correctly returned in any position. A weight and the required free space are no longer required and can be omitted.
The spring element can expediently be designed as a helical compression spring, the windings of which enclose the shower hose and thus guide it. The compression spring can advantageously be supported on the end face at the connection point on the outlet fitting and the removal guide for the shower hose, so that in the returned position the spring is deflected into a bent loop. When the shower hose is pulled out, the compression spring is then increasingly tensioned. An undesirable kinking of the shower hose at the connection point and the guidance through the windings of the compression spring is largely precluded here.
The length of the compression spring can expediently be dimensioned such that the spring coils lie one on top of the other as a block with the maximum extension length of the shower hose.
Stainless steel wire can be used to make the compression spring. However, other corrosion-resistant materials or materials provided with a corrosion-resistant coating can also be used.
- Figure 1 shows an outlet fitting in side view with two separate outlet mouthpieces;
- Figure 2 shows an outlet fitting with mixer tap and an outlet mouthpiece in side view.
For the sake of simplicity, the same or corresponding elements are provided with the same reference numerals in the two exemplary embodiments in the drawing. The water outlet fitting shown in FIG. 1 is arranged on a
The
In the exemplary embodiment described above, the so-called four-hole mixer (four openings in the sanitary object are required for the installation of the fitting) is shown installed on a washstand. Of course, these fittings can also be installed on a tub bead or a tiled bench on bathtubs.
Wird dagegen die Handbrause 4 in den Schwenkarm 51 zurückgelegt, so entspannt sich die Druckfeder 2 und zieht dabei den Schlauch 1 durch den Schwenkarm 51 und die Führung 22 unter den Waschtisch 3 zurück.FIG. 2 shows another exemplary embodiment of a water outlet fitting in the form of a single-hole mixer tap (A breakthrough in the sanitary object needed to install the battery is shown).
