Claims (10)

1. Chair with detachable elements, of the type comprising two sides (3), attached in a removable manner to a seat (2, 22) and to a back (1, 21), characterized in that the front part of the seat and the me- dian part of the back are fixed to the sides by means of opposed lateral buttons (4) formed with an irregu- lar profile and adapted, by means of a reciprocal orientation different from that in use, momentarily imparted to the elements concerned, to be inserted into "buttonholes" (5) with a corresponding profile and of then being retained therein through pivoting by lowering said elements to the position of use, while the rear part of the seat is united with the sides by the engagement, at the end of lowering, of two projecting lateral lugs (6) in mating supporting gussets (7).

Chair according to claim 1, characterized in that, at the end of pivoting, the lower part of the back (1) comes up against stops (3b) provided on each of the sides (3) and is held in place by a locking mechanism (9-10), while the rear part of the seat (2) itself rests against a horizontal lip (1a) provided at the bottom of said back.
3. Chair according to claim 2, characterized in that the retaining lock (9-10) is of the elastic snapfitting type.

Chair according to claim 1, characterized in that the lower part of the back (21) has two lateral cylindrical trunnions (19) engaged by rotation in a bearing (17) in two parts (15-16) carried by each of the sides (3), while the latter are united to the medi- an part of said back (21) by the pivoting arms of an oscillating operating bar (24), which enabies the back to adopt at least two different angular orientations in use.
5. Chair according to claim 4, characterized in that each arm is articulated to one of the sides (3) and its inner wall has a housing (24a) shaped to take a boss (23) provided on the outer wall of the back.
6. Chair according to one or other of claims 4 and 5, characterized in that the part of the seat (22) is assembled with the sides (3) by means of two elastic snapfitting systems (18).

Chair according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the inner wall of the sides (3) has brackets (13) shaped to take the ends of two horizontal reinforcing bars (11), the length of which is equivalent to a multiple of the width of an elementary chair and along which is inserted at least one intermediate support (12, 14) fitted after the manner of a side (3), so as to cooperate with the lateral as- sembly means (4, 6) of two backs (1) and two seats (2) arranged side by side.
8. Chair according to claim 7, characterized in that each intermediate support (12) has seatings (12a) shaped opening downwardly to rest on the horizontal bars (11).
9. Chair according to claim 7, characterized in that each intermediate support (14), provided with legs suitable for resting on the ground, has seatings (14a) shaped opening upwardly to support the horizontal bars (11).
10. Chair according to any one of claims 7 to 9, characterized in that at least one of the elementary chairs is devoid of a back (1) and has a seat (2) formed by a horizontal tray arranged to form a work surface or the like.
