Durch Wahl der Bandbreite eines solchen Gewebes kann die Zugfestigkeit und damit die resultierende Biegesteifigkeit in weiten Grenzen gesteuert werden, ohne das Gewicht des Schuhbodens merklich zu beeinflussen.
