Bspw. Einschweißflansche erfordern einen wesentlich geringeren Herstellungsaufwand als Einschraubflansche und oft auch Einstauchflansche, und das Entfallen eines Dichtungsringes erweist sich insbesondere bei das Material solcher Ringe angreifenden zu transportierenden Substanzen als vorteilhaft. Es hat sich jedoch gezeigt, daß auch die bekannten Einschweißdichtungen noch einen unerwünscht hohen Aufwand erfordern. So ist es nicht nur erforderlich, die entsprechenden Füllöffnungen in den Oberboden zu stanzen, oft ist noch der Rand dieser Öffnung aus der Ebene des Oberbodens herauszudrücken bzw. zu profilieren, und der Randbereich ist umzulegen. Relativ breite Auflageflächen solcher Flansche erfordern den Einsatz großer Materialmengen und benötigen eine aufwendige spanabhebende und/oder verformende Bearbeitung. Durch entsprechend geformte und bemessene Stützelemente werden der Oberboden und der Rohrstutzen bspw. vermittels von Niederhaltern zum Schweißen derart eingespannt, daß das freie Ende 16 des Rohrstutzens 6 mit der inneren Fläche des Oberbodens 3 praktisch bündig steht. Die verbindende und dichtende Schweißnaht 17 ist hier als V-Naht ausgebildet, bei der der Lichtbogen bzw. der Laserstrahl entlang der zwischen dem Oberboden und dem freien Ende gebildeten Fuge geführt ist. Er kann hierbei praktisch achsparallel verlaufen; infolge der ungleichen Wärmeableitung jedoch empfiehlt es sich, den Lichtbogen bzw. Claims (11)

  1. A container (1) having at least one bung and with a shell and, with its ends tightly and securely connected, a floor (2) and also a ceiling (3), in which the ceiling is provided with at least one filling hole (4), which is penetrated by the inner end, adapted in its diameter to the inner width of said hole, of a pipe length (6), which is provided as a stopper and is fitted with a thread (9, 10) to receive a sealing screw plug, and said pipe length is connected with the ceiling by welding,
    characterised in that the inner end of the pipe length (6) is substantially flush with the inside of the ceiling (3),
    in that the pipe length (6) and the ceiling (3) are tightly connected by just one weld (12, 15, 17),
    and in that the outer free end (11) of the pipe length (6) is outwardly bent at an angle, rolled over, flanged or pressed over.
  2. A container according to Claim 1,
    characterised in that the inner end of the pipe length (6) is stepped on a neck (7, 14) having a reduced wall thickness by means of a steep flank (8, 13).
  3. A container according to Claim 2,
    characterised in that the neck (7) has a smaller external diameter than the pipe length (6).
  4. A container according to Claim 2 or 3,
    characterised in that the neck (14) has a greater internal diameter than the pipe length (6).
  5. A container according to one of Claim 2 to 4,
    characterised in that the pipe length (6) with its flank (8) limiting the neck (7) is placed on the filling hole of the ceiling (3) constructed as a circular opening so that the neck penetrates the opening,
    and in that the neck is tightly welded with the edge of the opening.
  6. A container according to one of Claims 1 to 5,
    characterised in that the weld (12) is made as a fillet weld between the edge region of the opening in the ceiling (3) and the shell of the neck (7, 14, 16), which slightly projects inwards if necessary.
  7. A container according to one of Claims 1 to 5,
    characterised in that the weld (15, 17) is disposed in the region of the joint formed between the circular opening in the ceiling (3) and the end (16) or neck (7, 14) of the pipe length (6) surrounded thereby and is formed by an arc or laser beam, which is guided parallel to the axis of the pipe length (6) or is slightly inclined thereto.
  8. A container according to one of Claims 1 to 7,
    characterised in that the pipe length (6) comprises a screwed-in thread (9).
  9. A container according to one of Claims 1 to 7,
    characterised in that the pipe length (6) comprises an involute thread (10).
  10. A container according to one of Claims 1 to 9,
    characterised by a weld (12, 15, 17) formed by shielded arc welding.
  11. A container according to one of Claims 1 to 9,
    characterised by a weld (12, 15, 17) made by laser fusion welding.
