This torque is intercepted by the release mechanism, which is thereby biased against its unlocked position.
- the moment acting on the locking arm supports a possible triggering, so that such an impact is hardly noticeably hampered even by ice build-up and triggering is possible with low forces exerted by the triggering mechanism.
- the articulation of the sole hold-down device 17 takes place on the essentially ski-proof plate 1 via a tab arrangement, for example formed by a pair of tabs 11, which is attached to two in the working position of the heel shoe across the ski and axes running parallel to its surface, etc. the already mentioned axis 9, on which the hood-shaped sole hold-down device 17 is articulated, and the axis 12, which is held in the plate 1 or a rib projecting from it.
- a tab arrangement for example formed by a pair of tabs 11, which is attached to two in the working position of the heel shoe across the ski and axes running parallel to its surface, etc. the already mentioned axis 9, on which the hood-shaped sole hold-down device 17 is articulated, and the axis 12, which is held in the plate 1 or a rib projecting from it.
- the sole hold-down device 17 is connected to the essentially ski-fixed binding plate 1 only via the tabs 11, the latching of the sole hold-down device 17 to the ski-fixed binding plate 1 via the arm 16 carrying the latching track 31, the is pivotally held on the binding plate 1, and the locking roller 16, which is rotatably held on the sole holding-down device 17, is overlapped by the locking track 31 in the working position of the sole holding-down device 17.
- the tension spring 19 presses the arm 18 towards the shoe, the arm 18 on the one with the binding plate 1 or its rib connected axis 28 is articulated and presses against the locking roller 16, which also results in a force component acting in the longitudinal direction of the ski.
- This force component causes the sole hold-down device 17 to be advanced in the direction of the shoe, which, due to the articulation of the sole hold-down device 17 on the lower axis 9, results in an inclined position of the tabs 11 with respect to a vertical position.
- FIG. 3 shows the heel jaw 5 according to the invention after the switching component 44 has been triggered.
- the latch arm 22 has already left its position supporting the support lever 21 and has reached its release position. This is due to the unlocking of the shaft carrying the support lever 21 in the interior of the switching component 44 and by the moment to be exerted by the support lever 21 on the latch arm 22 in the direction of its release position.
- the tension spring 19 has also lost its abutment formed by the parts 21, 22, as a result of which the tension spring 19 with the arm 18 and the support lever 22 only form a closed system which no longer exerts any forces on the outside.
- the sole hold-down device 17 can be displaced to the rear, as can be seen from FIGS. 4a and 4b, with the tabs 11 being deflected. Furthermore, the sole hold-down device 17 can also be pivoted upwards without any appreciable effort, the latter being supported by the opening spring 31..
- FIG. 5 shows the heel jaw according to the invention with the sole hold-down device 17 pivoted up after a release, wherein, as already mentioned, the latching arm 22 and thus the release mechanism in the switching module 44 have been reset by pivoting the sole hold-down device 17 up.
- the latter takes place with the aid of the attachment 27 arranged on the sole hold-down device 17, which comes to rest against the attachment 27 ⁇ of the latching arm 22 and takes it along.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a heel shoe for a safety ski binding which can be triggered when a certain load acting on the binding is exceeded and in which a tab arrangement is arranged in the connection of a sole hold-down device to a substantially ski-fixed part of the shoe operational position of the jaw is penetrated transversely to the ski and axes running parallel to the surface thereof, the holding-down device being connected to the essentially ski-fixed part via the link arrangement and the axes passing through it, and these parts being lockable with one another with a spring-loaded detent-locking track arrangement.
From DE-OS 31 07 230 a heel shoe was known, in the case of which a slide is provided which can be displaced essentially transversely to the longitudinal axis of the ski and which is held in its central position by a spring-loaded catch track and a catch engaging in it. This slide, which is operationally displaceable with respect to the ski, with corresponding torsional loads on the heel jaw, carries a pivotally held tab arrangement in which an automatic heel device is held, the tab arrangement being in the middle position of the carriage by means of a at its end points with the carriage and the tab arrangement articulated toggle lever is locked. For this purpose, a locking lever is provided which engages in a groove of a ski-fixed base plate and is pivotally held by the sled, which locks the knee of the toggle lever which can be moved transversely to the ski in the central region of the movement path of the sled and releases it as soon as the sled is displaced out of this central region, thereby Tab arrangement and thus the automatic heel unit can be swiveled up.
In this solution, the
Furthermore, WO 84/03050 has disclosed a heel shoe corresponding to the type mentioned at the outset. In this heel shoe, the sole hold-down device is connected via a toggle lever to the ski-fixed part of the jaw, which is supported with its central joint on a spring-loaded lever having a latching path. Furthermore, the sole hold-down device is connected to the ski-fixed part of the heel shoe via a double lever which is penetrated in its central region by an axis held in the ski-fixed part of the shoe and is articulated in one end area to the sole hold-down device. Since the two articulation points of the sole hold-down device are relatively close together and the part of the toggle lever and the corresponding arm of the double lever articulated to different lengths, moving the sole hold-down device in the longitudinal direction of the binding results in a very complicated movement of the sole hold-down device, in the course of which the distance between the retaining strip of the sole hold-down and the surface of the ski also changes. As a result, however, the contact pressure of the shoe on the ski changes to a considerable extent and thus the frictional forces to be overcome when the binding is released in the event of a fall. As a result, the snow pads adhering to vertical surfaces in the toe or heel area of the shoe also influence triggering.
The aim of the invention is to avoid these disadvantages and to propose a heel shoe of the type mentioned at the outset, which is distinguished by a simple structure and in which length compensation and compensation for a snow layer on the sole is possible without a significant change in the trigger values.
According to the invention this is achieved in that the sole hold-down device is positively connected to the essentially ski-fixed part only via the tab arrangement and one of the Parts of the detent-locking track arrangement are connected exclusively to the ski-fixed part or the sole hold-down device and the other part of this arrangement is connected to the respective other component, the locking track being inclined in a manner known per se against the top of the ski and one of the two parts of the detent -Rastway arrangement overlaps the other.
Parts in the longitudinal direction of the ski or the cheek are possible against the action of the tension spring, this path being taken up by the tab arrangement. Since only an articulated connection of the sole hold-down device to the ski-fixed part is provided, namely via one axis of the strap arrangement, there is practically no change in the pressure of the shoe against the ski when the sole hold-down device is displaced in the longitudinal direction with respect to the ski-fixed part. The set trigger values therefore remain largely constant despite the compression of the tension spring.
For reasons of a particularly simple construction, it is advantageous if the tab arrangement is arranged on the end of the sole holding-down device facing away from the second jaw and extends essentially perpendicular to the ski in the operating position of the jaw. As a result, a sufficiently long path for a length compensation of the sole, which is particularly important for soles made of a hygroscopic material, can be taken up by the tab arrangement, even if its length is relatively small.
In a preferred embodiment of a heel shoe according to the invention, it is provided that the latching path is arranged on an arm which is pivotable on the substantially ski-fixed part and that the detent is formed by a roller which is rotatably held on the sole holder, the arm being supported by the tension spring, which in turn is preferably supported on an abutment controlled by a trigger mechanism. These measures ensure that, even when the sole hold-down is pivoted up after a release, the opening of the jaw resulting therefrom is largely covered by the arm having the latching path, so that in the case in the event of a fall, hardly any snow can penetrate the inside of the jaw. This largely prevents malfunctions in the function of the baking.
According to a further feature of the invention it can be provided that the abutment of the tension spring controlled by the release mechanism in a manner known per se by means of a support arm which is pivotally held in the essentially ski-fixed part of the jaw and a support arm which supports this in the ready-to-operate position of the jaw from the release mechanism Controlled locking arm is formed, wherein the support arm is articulated with a coupling rod guiding the tension spring to the arm having the locking path and the support arm loads the locking arm essentially in the direction of its longitudinal axis in a manner known per se and the tension spring preferably runs approximately parallel to the ski surface.
These measures have the advantage that the locking lever can be deflected from its position supporting the support arm with relatively small forces, whereby this and thus the tension spring loses its support and thus the locking of the sole hold-down with the essentially ski-fixed Part is solved. It is also important to support the tension spring by means of the coupling rod, as a result of which its bending stress on the spring, which leads to an uneven loading of the spring and thus to its premature fatigue, is reliably avoided.
The heel jaw according to the invention is fundamentally suitable both for an application in connection with a releasable front jaw, as well as in connection with a non-releasable front jaw, as is often used for touring bindings. For reasons of high release security, however, when using a heel shoe according to the invention in connection with a non-releasable front shoe, it is expedient to use the former in conjunction with a binding plate.
According to a further feature of the invention it is therefore proposed in a heel shoe according to the invention for a plate binding that the substantially ski-proof part of the shoe is arranged plate-fixed and the plate around a vertical pin arranged in the region of the point of penetration of the tibia with the top of the ski, as well as a in arranged in the front area of the plate, rotatable transversely to the longitudinal axis of the ski and essentially parallel to the ski surface, and via a pin spaced from the vertical pin and engaging in a ski-like abutment, which preferably uses a transducer with the plate or the essentially ski-fixed part the jaw is connected, is secured against rotation.
This embodiment is particularly suitable for heel cheeks with an electronically controlled release member, since it can be used to detect the forces acting on the binding in very small ways, the low, due to the elasticity of the individual components, but also their attachment to the ski given the displaceability The plate opposite the ski is sufficient to be able to record the acting forces.
In this context, it can further be provided that the transducer is arranged on a tightly closed housing, in which an electronic evaluation circuit, which processes the output signals of the transducer and actuator, which controls the latching arm, is enclosed. This results in very short cable routes for the transmission of the output signals of the transducer and a protected arrangement of the very sensitive electronic components.

The binding shown in Fig. 1 is designed as a plate binding, the
Furthermore, in the front area of the
The
As a result, the position of the
In the
The substantially hood-shaped sole hold-down
The
The measuring
The trigger mechanism in the
As can be seen in FIGS. 2a to c, the
When swinging up the sole hold-down
This turning back requires only little force, since the
As can be seen from FIGS. 2 to 5, the articulation of the sole hold-down
As can be seen from FIG. 2a, in which the conditions are shown as they result from an optimal setting of the binding, the
If there is now a slight deviation from the ideal setting of the
The same applies in relation to a snow covering on the sole, as shown in FIG. 2c. Due to the elevated position of the heel area of the sole, the
Letzteres erfolgt mit Hilfe des an dem Sohlenniederhalter 17 angeordneten Ansatzes 27, der an dem Ansatz 27ʹ des Rastarmes 22 zur Anlage kommt und diesen mitnimmt.5 shows the heel jaw according to the invention with the sole hold-down
