    characterized in that there are provided, on either side of the lateral arms (13) of the resilient retaining clamp (9), two framing flanges (15) made of plastic material, which will advantageously be integrally moulded with the respective wall (11) of the housing of the corresponding apparatus, the arrangement being such that the said framing flanges (15) prevent the ends of the lateral arms (13) of the retaining clamp (9) from spreading apart.
  2. A connection terminal according to Claim 1, characterized in that the ends of the lateral arms (13) of the retaining clamp (9) comprise spikes (16) capable of anchoring themselves into the material of the framing flanges (15) under the action of the pressure being exerted on said lateral arms (13) during the insertion of the connection terminal (1).

An electrical apparatus according to one of Claims 3 and 4, characterized in that the resilient retaining clamp (9) of each connection terminal being constituted by one of the ends of a linking blade (10) disposed against the corresponding wall (11) of the housing of said apparatus, said wall carries a salient finger (18) provided on the side opposite the orifice through which the end (3) of a wire is introduced into the corresponding connection terminal (1), said finger being engaged into a hole (19) formed in the linking blade (10).
  6. An electrical apparatus according to Claim 5, characterized in that the salient finger (18) engaged through the linking blade (10) presents a curved shape, the concavity of which is turned towards the corresponding connection terminal (1).
  7. An electrical apparatus according to one of Claims 3 to 6, characterized in that, on the side of the orifice (2) through which the end (3) of a wire (4) is introduced into a connection terminal (1), the framing flanges (15) comprise bent-over edges (17) located on either side of said orifice.
