Claims (8)

  1. Illuminated vending rack insert (1) for insertion into customary vending racks and for illumination of articles offered for sale, particularly in separate fixtures (6), characterised by a substantially parallelepipedonal housing (1) of low height and consisting of translucent material with at least one illuminating body (8), which is arranged in the region of the front longitudinal side surface (7) and parallelly to this and which is bent back at right angles into the interior of the housing in regions.
  2. Vending rack insert according to claim 1, characterised thereby, that the illuminating body (8) is constructed as neon tube.
  3. Vending rack insert according to one of the preceding claims, characterised thereby, that the parallelepipedonal housing (1) is assemblable from several individual bodies (2, 3, 4), which are of equal length and height and one matched to the other in modular manner, into a unitary vending rack insert (1) with planar support surface (5).
  4. Vending rack insert according to one of the preceding claims, characterised thereby, that only one of the individual bodies (2) displays an illuminating body (8).
  5. Vending rack insert according to one of the preceding claims, characterised thereby, that the individual bodies (2, 3, 4) display depressions (14, 15) at least in regions of their upper side and/or of their underside and/or connecting tongues (16, 17) protruding at the opposite longitudinal side and constructed to correspond with the depressions (14, 15).
  6. Vending rack insert according to one of the preceding claims, characterised thereby, that at least the individual body (2), which is provided with an illuminating body (8), is produced of translucent synthetic material.
  7. Vending rack insert according to one of the preceding claims, characterised thereby, that the individual bodies (2, 3, 4) are one matched to the other in their width in such a manner that, individually or in combination, they exactly fill out the depth of customary vending racks.
  8. Vending rack insert according to one of the preceding claims, characterised by openings (18) in the longitudinal side surfaces for the feedthrough of electrical connections.
