Definitions
- the invention has for its object to provide a composite profile for Mat.en and windows, which has a thermally isolating, easy-to-install connector that
- connection between the profile and the connecting element is provided with a positive connection, which becomes effective as a result of plastic deformation of webs or clip projections provided on the metal profile. This deformation is due to inevitable approximation
- the connecting element has at least one longitudinal groove into which tongues or webs of the inserted metal profile protrude.
- the above webs have a reduced cross-section in an angled area in order to obtain a predetermined deformation point; the deformation is achieved by pressing the connecting element against the metal profile in the transverse direction.
- the shape of the webs is such that, due to the mutual action of the groove surfaces on those of the webs, the metal profile is clamped onto the connecting element, whereby, in the longitudinal direction as well as in the transverse direction, an up to limited load locking between the Elements is effective, with a play between the parts is provided in the transverse direction.
- the connecting element can be made of extruded PVC, for example, it can have internal cavities which can optionally be foamed.
- the waiter; surfaces of the connecting element, which act on the clip webs, can be covered or machined according to the invention so that the required strength; speed is achieved.
- the grooves in which the webs engage can also consist of U-shaped profiles, for example made of metal, which are provided on a foam profile, which can also have webs, grooves or seats in the general sense in order to mount other parts forming the composite profile thereon and to be able to attach.
- the second profile which has the same connection - 4 -
- the degree of clamping can be influenced by taking into account the elastic deformation of the clamp organs, which precedes the plastic deformation;
- the connecting element can have such a shape and structural properties that the supports deform elastically in such a way that a sufficient clamping takes place even in the event of a partial elastic deformation into the starting position. This is easy
- the outer edges also acting as a support e.g. can have the shape of spread webs, which are under certain pressure
- the cross section of the clip webs can, according to the invention, have such a shape in relation to the insertion grooves that, in the clip position, the outermost tip on the
- Fig. 1 shows a cross section through an inventive aluminum-wood connection profile for window sash and window frame.
- Fig. 2 shows in detail the clip assembly according to the invention - 5 - bond between metal profile and connecting profile.
- the metal profile 6 is attached by snapping 4a, 4b, with the interposition of the insulation element 4, on the blind stick 2, this is aligned by wedges 3; the metal profile 6 has webs 6c against the inside
- the connecting element 7 made of insulating material is inserted in the longitudinal direction between these webs 6c, the grooves 7b corresponding to the position of the clip ends 6a and the support provided with a wide groove 7d and projections 7c on the sides directed against the surface 6d, of which the Protruding webs 6c.
- this phase of permanent deformation of the webs 6c with the clip ends 6a a limited elastic deformation of areas of the connecting element 7, which are located between the clip ends 6a and the support surface 6d, can be provided, so as to possibly restore the elasticity of the To compensate for clip ends 6a, this elastic deformation can be made dependent on the shape and arrangement of the projections 7c and the groove 7d.
- the inFig. Composite profiles shown 1 have a wooden cladding 8 which is fastened via grooves 8a and anchoring webs 7a projecting from the connecting element 7. By means of grooves 8b, which if necessary the anchoring - 6 -
- 1 grooved grooves 8a are the same, seals can be provided in a known manner.
- the entire composite profile according to the invention composed of an aluminum part 6, a plastic part 7 and a wooden part 8 can be thermal
- connection according to the invention dispenses with the introduction of adhesive foams and the like, internal tensions are eliminated by mutual sliding of the parts to a limited extent.
- the invention does not exclude the use of spacer elements, which the

Abstract
The heat insulating part is firmly connected to the non-metallic part (8) by form bonding and pressure. This pressure ensures a firm clamping effect when the form-fitting parts (6, 7) are brought together (fig.2) perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction thereof, thanks to the plastic deformation of edges or protuberances (6a ) located in corresponding recesses (7b), on the heat-insulating part (7), with limited contact regions (7c, C) between the parts (6, 7). Therefore, at certain load values, limited longitudinal and/or transverse displacements are possible in the longitudinal and/or transverse direction (variations due to thermal expansion).
