Abstract

The dish vessel consists of vessel components which may in particular be used as plate or pot. On the rim the vessel components show a profile of elevations and depressions arranged in such manner that the profiles of two vessel components seated on one another and facing each other, interlock positively. The profiles are elevations having an arc-like cross-section and protruding out of the rim in longitudinal cross-sectional direction and/or depressions running into the rim, which show at one side in direction to the rim essentially perpendicular cheeks and at the remaining sides merge without steps into the rim. The surfaces of the cheeks are essentially perpendicular to a connecting line from the central point of the vessel component to the center of the cheeks.

Description

The invention relates to a crockery vessel consisting of vessel parts which can be used in particular as plates or pots, in which the vessel parts have profiles on an edge strip which, in cross section, i.e. in the direction of the edge strip, arc-shaped elevations and depressions and in longitudinal section, i.e. perpendicular to the cross section, protrusions protruding from the edge strip and / or depressions running into the edge strip, the profiles of two superposed, mutually facing vessel parts interlocking.

Such a crockery vessel is known from DE-OS 2 163 302. The profiles in this known vessel only extend slightly above and below the surface of the edge of the vessel and are therefore relatively subtle and decorative. The profiles of two superimposed, mutually facing vessel parts interlock positively, but in practice they do not provide the necessary security against lateral sliding of the vessel parts.

From DE-GM 75 30 942 a warming utensil with two identical, dish-shaped, as lower part and lid with their edge strips in open position to each other parts of crockery with interlocking elevations and depressions on their edge strips is known, in which the crockery parts are circular and Elevations and depressions are evenly arranged at such intervals and are formed in the circumferential direction with such corrugations or bevels that they slide into the latching position when they are placed one against the other. The higher these elevations and depressions, the better the dishes are fixed to each other in the closed position. High elevations and depressions on the edge strips are therefore desirable from a technical point of view, but they are undesirable from an aesthetic point of view. If the elevations and depressions are made flat from an aesthetic point of view, the desired fixation of the two dishes is lost.

From US-PS 2,627,991 a crockery vessel is known which has on its edge strip and on its bottom projections and depressions which interlock when two crockery parts are placed one on top of the other. The four sides of the elevations or the depressions run essentially perpendicular to the surface of the edge strip, so that there are cup-like depressions in which food remnants can adhere which are difficult to remove. It is also difficult to incorporate such shaped elevations and depressions into an aesthetic design of the edge strip of the vessel part.

In contrast, the invention has for its object to design the above-mentioned crockery vessel so that the vessel parts can be easily cleaned and the profile appears as an aesthetic design or can be easily included in the aesthetic design of the edge strip of the vessel part, with a secure fixation of the two Vessel parts, if they are placed one on top of the other in a facing position, should also be guaranteed against lateral displacement of the two dishes.

To achieve this object, the crockery container according to the invention is characterized in that the elevations and the depressions have cheeks which are substantially perpendicular to the edge strip on one side, and continuously transition into the edge strip on their other sides, the surfaces of the cheeks forming a connecting line stand essentially perpendicular to the center of the vessel part to the middle of the cheek.

In the crockery vessel according to the invention, the vessel is largely sealed, and lateral sliding of the vessels against one another is prevented in that the elevations and depressions interlock positively and the cheeks oppose a lateral displacement of the vessel parts. In the crockery container according to the invention, the technical function is solved with the most economical means in the sense that the superficial viewer, for example a guest in a restaurant who eats from a piece of crockery shaped as a plate, the undulating design of the rim of the plate as a strange, but not as feels a completely unusual and therefore getting used to aesthetic design. The aesthetic design of the plate edge strip is perceived as satisfactory if the plate edge strip deviates as little as possible from the smooth plate edge strip to which the user is accustomed, because the users have become accustomed to the previously available plate edge strip designs and are not very inclined to use different designs Accepting marginal stripes. For example, a strongly undulating design of the plate rim strip would be rejected as too unusual. Since the recesses on their sides, with the exception of the cheeks, merge smoothly into the rim of the plate, the risk of food residues getting stuck in the recesses is also reduced, and the parts of the vessel can be easily cleaned.

An advantageous embodiment of the crockery container according to the invention is characterized in that the cheeks of the elevations and depressions lie on the inside of the elevations and depressions. With this configuration, the elevations and depressions can be drawn into the decor of the vessel part in a particularly simple design without the functional features being lost.

Another advantageous embodiment of the Dishware consists in that the cheeks of the elevations and depressions lie on the inside and / or the outside of the elevations and depressions. By interlocking the interlocking elevations and depressions when two vessel parts are placed on top of one another, there is increased security against slipping.

A further advantageous embodiment of the crockery vessel according to the invention consists in the fact that on the edge strip of a vessel part the elevations and the depressions each lie side by side with the associated cheeks in the direction of the connecting lines mentioned. In addition to the functional improvement, this results in a further design option for the decor.

Another advantageous embodiment of the crockery container according to the invention is that a common cheek is formed for a pair of elevation and depression. This increases the area of the cheeks on which the cheeks lie against one another when two vessel parts are placed one on top of the other.

An advantageous embodiment of the crockery vessel according to the invention is characterized in that on the underside of the vessel part there are alternately recesses and ridges which interlock positively when two vessel parts lie one above the other with their undersides facing one another. This configuration of the crockery vessel also allows two closed vessels, each consisting of two vessel parts, to be stacked on top of one another, or one vessel part, for example a plate, can be placed on a closed vessel consisting of two vessel parts.

A further advantageous embodiment of the crockery vessel according to the invention is characterized in that the depressions and elevations to the contact surfaces of the vessel parts have cheeks which are vertical on their undersides and run parallel to the edge of the vessel. The edge strips and the undersides of the vessel parts thus have the same profiles, so that the profiles on the one hand prevent the vessel parts from slipping against one another and on the other hand appear as a uniform decor.

A further advantageous embodiment of the dishes container according to the invention is characterized in that the elevations and depressions form a circumferential band. In this way, the space available on the edge strips and on the undersides with the profiles that prevent lateral displacement of the vessel parts is optimally used and the aesthetic design is also improved.

Finally, an advantageous embodiment of the crockery vessel according to the invention is characterized in that the vessel parts consist of flexible material and that the elevations and the depressions can be snapped into place. The latching of the elevations and depressions further increases the resistance to lateral displacement of the vessel parts because, for example, a closed vessel, in which the two vessel parts are pressed together with their edge strips to snap the elevations and depressions into place, can only be opened again with a certain amount of force . Even closed vessels, the vessel parts of which are locked together with their undersides in this way, can only be separated again with a certain amount of force.

Es ist jedoch auch möglich, daß die Erhöhungen und Vertiefungen kein durchlaufendes Band bilden, sondern einzeln vorgesehen sind.1 and 2, a plate 1 in plan view (FIG. 1) and a plurality of plates placed on top of one another and stacked on top of one another in the sense of the receptacle and lid are shown in section (FIG. 2). Through the one plate as a receptacle and the other plate as a lid, a closed vessel is formed, and the contact surfaces of the two vessel parts are formed horizontally, so that the profiles on the edge strips of the vessel parts can interlock. The profiles consist of a cross section, ie in a section parallel to the plate edge, arcuate and in a longitudinal section, ie in a section perpendicular to the plate edge, of elevations 3 which protrude from the edge strip 6 and of depressions 3 'which run into the edge strip. The elevations and depressions have cheeks 8, 9 which are essentially perpendicular to the edge strip on one side and pass continuously into the edge strip on their other sides. The surfaces of the cheeks are substantially perpendicular to a connecting line from the center of the vessel part to the middle of the cheek. The smooth transition of the other sides of the elevations and depressions can take place in a smooth arc or with a flat angle. The increased side retention is achieved here by the cheeks 8 protruding in the circular curvature perpendicularly above the horizontal contact surface or cheeks 9 of the elevations and depressions recessed into the horizontal contact surface. The shape of the elevations and depressions in cross section can be circular or sinusoidal or. be cosine. The merging, sinus-cosine-shaped elevations 3 and depressions 3 'forming a plate form one the rim of the strip strip 5, the cheeks 8, 9 lying on the inside of the elevations 3 and depressions 3 '. However, it is also possible that the elevations and depressions do not form a continuous band, but are provided individually.

On the underside 2 of the plates 1, depressions 4 'and elevations 4 are alternately embedded or placed in such a way that they engage when the plates with the undersides lie one above the other, so that even when the closed vessels formed by the plates 1 are stacked on one another, they slide the plate against each other is not possible. The shape of the elevations 4 and the depressions 4 'can correspond to the shape of the elevations 3 and the depressions 4'. However, rectangular elevations 4 and depressions 4 ′ can also be provided in longitudinal section, as shown in FIG. 2.

Figure 3 shows a section through the edge strips 6 of two plates 1 placed one on the other in a side plan view along the line 111-111 and reveals how the elevations 3 and depressions 3 'projecting beyond the horizontal edge strips 6 lying one on top of the other form a sinus-cosine line or Wavy lines result.

A further embodiment of a plate is shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. The plate has elevations 13 and adjacent depressions 13 ', the cheeks 18 of which lie on the inside of the associated elevations and depressions. On the inside of the elevations 13 and the depressions 13 'there are additional elevations 17 and depressions 17' such that their cheeks 18 'and 18 lie on the outside of the elevations 17 and 17'. In the exemplary embodiment shown, a pair of elevations 13 and depressions 17 ′ or a pair of depressions 13 ′ and elevations 17 each form a common cheek, as can be seen from FIG. 5. This configuration significantly increases the side retentions. The merging, sinusoidal or cosine-shaped oscillations around the plate edge strips and depressions form a circumferential band around the plate strip 15. The elevations and depressions of the plate, which is shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, are otherwise as for the executed the first embodiment. It is not necessary that the mutually associated elevations and depressions of a pair form a common cheek. Rather, on the edge strip of a part of the vessel, the elevations and depressions, each with the associated cheeks, lie next to one another in the direction of the connection line mentioned, so that a step is formed between the individual cheeks. Also, the elevations and depressions, which extend from the cheeks to the center of the plate, and the elevations or depressions, which extend from the cheeks to the plate edge, can be arranged offset from one another, so that the elevations and depressions with their cheeks are not next to each other lie.

The vessel parts can be made of resilient material, for example metal or plastic, and can be designed in such a way that the elevations engage in the depressions when the vessels are pressed together.

The vessel parts, which are shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 as plates, can be designed as flat plates, deep plates or as bowls, the lids designed as plates being usable simultaneously as lids and also as plates.
