Die Dichtung 3 ist von der Innenfläche eines Seitenwandab­ schnittes 2 a der Abdeckung 2 zu der Innenfläche des äußeren Umfanges eines Oberseitenabschnittes 2 b angeordnet und weist einen seitlichen Abschnitt 3 a und einen oberen Abschnitt 3 b auf. Die Dichtung 3 weist somit eine Nut 3 d auf, die zwischen dem seitlichen Abschnitt 3 a und der Rippe 3 c ausgebildet ist, so daß die Seitenwand 1 a des Behälterkörpers 1 in die Nut 3 d eingesetzt werden kann. Dabei erfährt die Dichtung eine elastische Verformung, um eine Abdichtung zwischen dem Behälterkörper 1 und der Ab­ deckung 2 zu erzielen. Es können dabei verschiedene Arten von Dichtabschnitten vorgesehen sein, in der vorliegenden Ausführungsform sind die eigentlichen Dichtabschnitte ein Seitenteil "a" der Seitenwand an der Rückseite der Nut 3 d der Dichtung 3 und ein Seitenteil "b" der Rippe an der Vorderseite. In diesem Fall wird eine effektivere Dichtwir­ kung erhalten, wenn sowohl die Rippe 3 c als auch die Sei­ tenwand 1 a des Behälterkörpers 1 zur Außenseite geneigt ausgebildet sind.In Figs. 1 to 3, a container body 1 having a rectangular opening and a cover 2 is shown, which can be placed on the container body 1.
