Abstract

A trash collection and removal system has a horizontal set-up surface with a plurality of standing stations for several vertically disposed cylindrical trash silos having respective pivotable covers at the two axial ends. A horizontal loading surface traveled by trash collection vehicles is arranged above the set-up surface by a distance approximately equal to the axial length of the silos. By means of this system, the costs for transport of the trash to dump sites or to incineration facilities can be substantially reduced.

Description

Garbage is collected in cities and agglomerations using garbage collection vehicles and transported to a landfill or incineration plant. If the landfill or incineration plant is located far from the collection area, the collection vehicles cover long transport routes. This is uneconomical because the refuse collection vehicles with their special facilities for collecting the refuse are expensive and have only a small transport capacity in relation to their price.

From FR-A 2 074 727 a loading system with garbage silos according to the general concept of claims 1 and 5 is known. In this system, the waste silos have a slightly conical wall and at one end a lid that can be swiveled around a vertical axis for loading and emptying. With the lid open, the silos are placed horizontally against an exit opening of a refuse collection shaft. The garbage is then conveyed from the shaft into the silo using a stamp that can be moved horizontally at the bottom of the shaft. This system is relatively complicated in construction. The open collecting shafts lead to odor nuisance, so that this system can hardly be built in the center of agglomerations. This means that it cannot be optimally used economically.

Further loading systems with refuse silos are known from DE-A 2 905 865, FR-A 2 118 397, US-A 3 753 506 and US-A 3 417 883. The invention has for its object to provide a loading system and a garbage silo with which an efficient disposal of the garbage from agglomerations is possible. This object is achieved by the characterizing features of claims 1 and 5.

The aniage according to the invention can be built in the center of a collection area. The refuse collection vehicles then have minimal transport routes and can be used very economically. The silos can have a multiple of the capacity of refuse collection vehicles. In addition, the waste can be compacted well in the installed silos. The transportation of the waste to the landfill or incineration plant is therefore considerably cheaper. In addition, this transport can be managed with relatively few transport vehicles, because the silos at the stands represent a buffer with which the irregular delivery of waste caused by the refuse collection vehicles can be compensated.

Darin zeigt:

  • Fig. 1 eine perspektivische Ansicht einer erfindungsgemässen Verladeanlage,
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained below with reference to the drawing. It shows:
  • 1 is a perspective view of a loading system according to the invention,
  • Fig. 2 is a side view of a silo on a transport vehicle, and
  • Fig. 3 shows the upper edge of a silo with the lid swung up.

The system shown in Fig. 1 has a horizontal shelf 1 with several stands 2 for several vertically installed waste silos 3 with a circular cylindrical wall 4 and a pivotable cover 5, 6 at both axial ends. At a distance of the axial length of the silos 3, a horizontal loading area 7 for driving with refuse collection vehicles 8 is arranged above the storage area 1. An inclined ramp 9 leads from the storage area 1 to the loading area 7. The space below the loading area 7 can e.g. can be used for garages, material storage or workshops.

The loading area 7 is rectangular and has rectilinear edges 14. Vertical supports 15 are arranged along the edges 14 at regular intervals which are greater than the width of a silo 3. This is above the loading surface 7 horizontal, perpendicular to the edge 14 projecting pivot axes 16 attached, about which two funnel plates 17 can be pivoted about each stand. When a silo 3 is parked or loaded onto a transport vehicle 20, the funnel plates 17 are oriented vertically and are therefore somewhat laterally spaced apart from the silo 3, as is illustrated using the example of the stand 2c. If the silo 3 is to be filled, the funnel plates 17 are placed at an angle (see e.g. position 2a) so that their lower edge slightly covers the edge of the filling opening of the silo 3 and thus prevents garbage from falling over the edge of the silo opening.

Vertically above the stands 2, a hydraulically or pneumatically telescopic stamp 21 with a round, horizontal base plate 22 can be moved transversely on rails 23. The waste in the silos 3 can be compacted with this stamp 21.

The garbage silos 3 are made of steel. The circular-cylindrical wall 4 is supported by a support frame 27 consisting of two adjacent support profiles 28 with a U-shaped cross section arranged parallel to the cylinder axis and one square foot frame 29 arranged at the axial ends of the wall 4 and connected to the support profiles 28. The upper cover 5 when the silo is set up can be pivoted about an axis 30 adjacent to the two support profiles 28, while the pivot axis 31 of the lower cover 6 is arranged on the diametrically opposite side. In the open state, the upper cover 5 forms a filling funnel together with the funnel sheets 17. The lower cover 6 is used to empty the silos 3 on landfills or in incineration plants. Both covers 5, 6 are sealed with an elastomeric sealing ring 32 against the wall 4.

A coupling device 38 in the form of a coupling element 40, which is displaceable along a longitudinal guide 39 fastened to the profile 28, for a traction cable 41 of the transport vehicle 20 is arranged on each of the support profiles 28. The displacement path of the coupling element 40 is limited near the upper end of the profile 28 by a stop 42 and below at shoulder height by another stop.

Das Abladen erfolgt in umgekehrter ReihenfolgeTo load the silo 3, the transport vehicle 20 drives backwards up to close to the silo 3 and pivots its loading bridge 46 by means of two telescopic cylinders 47 into an almost vertical position. The pulling ropes 41 are wound so far that their end loops can be coupled to the coupling elements 40 resting against their lower stop. Now the ropes 41 are partially wound, the coupling elements 40 sliding upwards along their guides 39. The vehicle 20 is reset somewhat until it almost touches the silo 1. The ropes 41 are tightened further until the coupling elements 40 rest against their upper stops 42. When the loading bridge 46 is lowered, the silo 3 is tipped over the ropes 41 and then loaded onto the loading bridge 46, wherein it rests with its support profiles 28. Unloading takes place in the reverse order

An dessen freiem Ende greift eine vorgespannte Feder 51 an, deren anderes Ende am Rahmen 29 abgestützt ist.2, the silo 3 is shown on the transport vehicle 20 in the unloading position, where the lower cover 6 is uncoupled and pivoted about its axis 31. Thanks to the sealing rings 32, the silo 3 is sealed during loading and transport. In order to facilitate the opening of the upper cover 5, a lever 50 bent downward is attached adjacent to its pivot axis 30. At its free end, a prestressed spring 51 acts, the other end of which is supported on the frame 29.
