- the invention has for its object to provide a radiant heating unit of the type mentioned, which can be secured and aligned very precisely against the heating plate in a simple manner.
- the carrier shell can be laterally centered with the guide and can also be arranged or mounted in a resiliently adjustable or displaceable manner at right angles to the heating plate, so that an always effective sliding guide is formed.
- a base that is to say that the support shell or a plurality of support shells lying next to one another can be arranged freely hanging on the underside of a hob or freely projecting outwards on the outside of an oven muffle wall, and yet the support shell can be adjusted the associated heating plate is given.
- the heating plate is generally arranged in a frame of the associated appliance unit surrounding it, this frame being able to be formed by the hob in the case of a stove and by the associated muffle wall in the case of an oven muffle.
- the sliding guide can, according to the invention, on the one hand, between the heating plate and this frame by means of adjustable mounting of the heating plate relative to the frame and instead or in addition to this, on the other hand, be provided between the carrier shell and the frame and finally directly between the heating plate and the carrier shell, so that various combinations of the three requirements can be achieved by optionally combining these three options using the same tension springs.
- the heating resistors can be formed by encapsulated high-temperature radiators, namely lamp bulbs or preferably by bare heating filaments or the like.
- the radiant heating unit according to the invention is also suitable for heating an oven muffle and for similar purposes, in which case the heating plate at least partially forms a wall of the oven muffle.
- the heating plate does not need to be rigidly attached directly for connection to the associated device unit, but it can be detachably fixed relative to the device unit, for example stretched against the sealing profile or only placed on the frame.
- a continuous one-piece heating plate is provided for several hotplates or radiant heaters
- appropriate guides or sliding guides are expediently provided on the inside or in the heating plate, which can be fastened to the heating plate, for example by gluing, welding or the like.
- the sliding guide can in any case be offset inwards with respect to the edge surface of the heating plate and / or with respect to the outside of the carrier shell formed by the circumference, so that it lies completely within the layout of the heating plate, for example on the inside thereof.
- the associated end of the The sliding guide is then expediently fixed indirectly or directly opposite the inside of the heating plate or the holder by welding, gluing or the like.
- Adjacent radiant heaters can be very close to one another if the web-shaped sliding guide engages in the outer shell on the inside, so that sliding guide parts which do not protrude freely downward and overlap the carrier shell on the outside are required.
- the sliding guide can also grip around the heating plate at the associated edge in an angular manner, and adjacent sliding guides of adjacent radiant heaters can be formed in a simple manner by a common frame profile which, for example, simultaneously supports the two adjacent heating plates.
- the carrier shell can form a preassembled, integrated component with the heating plate or with the frame supporting the heating plate or the heating plates, which as a whole can be adjusted transversely to its plane, i.e. in the direction of insertion of the guides, for example for adjustment, without the tensioning force of the Tension springs is affected.
- At least one tension spring is supported with respect to the base, preferably as a compression spring between the bottom of the outer shell and a base plate arranged on the associated side of the inner shell.
- the inner shell and the outer shell are guided such that they can be displaced relative to one another in the direction of displacement of the guide, and are spring-loaded, wherein the outer shell can also be mounted displaceably with respect to the guide in the heating plate.
- FIGS. 1 and 2 several radiant heaters 1 according to the invention are generally combined to form a heating or cooking unit 2 which, for example, forms the upper part of a stove (not shown in more detail).
- Each radiant heater 1 has a support plate 3 arranged on the underside of a heating plate 4 of glass ceramic or the like corresponding approximately to its size, the heating plates 4 being arranged as individual plates in a frame 5 lying with its top side in the plane of the top side of the heating plates 4.

- the carrier shell 3 is pretensioned against the heating plate 4 with uniformly distributed over its circumference, for example with four tension springs 28 lying in the region of its corners, of which only one is shown in FIG. 8.
- the tension springs 28 are in the form of helical tension springs with an orientation at right angles to the heating plates 4 on the inner sides of the cover webs 19, 20 and are each suspended in an angular holder 29 fastened to this inner side on the one hand and in an angular holder 30 on the other hand, which is on the underside of the bottom 24 and above the outside of the outer jacket 22 is fixed above.
- each tension spring 24 is located directly adjacent to and parallel to the outside of the outer casing 22, the angle legs of the holders 29, 30, in which the tension springs 28 are suspended, being directed toward one another.
- the inner shell 7 can be formed in one or more parts, in the latter case it has at least one or two base layers and also the type Lagerand 9 can be formed by a separate ring lying on the associated bottom layer.
- the contact edge 9 can be produced from another insulating material, such as vermiculite, which is particularly suitable for contacting the heating plate 4, while the base plate is made from an insulating material which is particularly suitable for holding the heating resistors 10, 11 by embedding and for high thermal loads. how a mineral fiber material can be made.
- Adjusting spindles 31 with threads are guided on the base 6 at right angles to the heating plates 4, the free ends of which are supported adjacent to or between the tension springs 28 on the inner sides of the cover webs 19, 20.

- FIG. 7 three oblong rectangular hotplates lying parallel to one another and immediately adjacent to one another are provided to form the hob.
- the respective web leg 18a can pass at its inner edge into a leg web 32 angled away from the heating plate 4a, which engages in a corresponding groove in or adjacent to the end face 25a of the contact edge 9a and for further stiffening of the profile supporting the heating plate 4a.
- the design of the carrier shell 3a differs significantly from that according to FIG. 8 because the inner shell 7a and the outer shell 8a are displaceably guided at right angles to the heating plate 4a, while the outer shell 8a is in turn guided on the frame 5a via the sliding guides 27a.
- the inner shell 7a has a bottom plate 33 on the underside, which is offset in the edge area to form receiving spaces for the tension springs 28a between the bottom 24a and the inner shell 7a to shoulder webs 30a.
- the between these shoulder bars 30a and the bottom springs 24a arranged tension springs 28 are designed as compression springs, for example as helical compression springs, but can also be leaf springs or the like.
- adjusting spindles 31a In addition to the adjusting spindles 31a, parallel to these adjusting spindles 35 with a thread on the base 6a are also guided, the ends of which are supported approximately in the area on the outside of the bottom 24a in which a tension spring 28a lies, in each case an adjusting spindle 35 and a tension spring 28a can be arranged coaxially with each other.
- the adjusting spindles 35 are supported on the floor 24a with the interposition of U-shaped intermediate profiles 34, wherein two adjacent adjusting spindles 35 can rest against a common intermediate profile 34.
- a displaceable mounting of the heating plate 4b relative to the frame 5b can also be provided, for which purpose a sliding guide 27b is formed between these two parts.
- the heating plate 4b is firmly connected to a structural unit with a frame-shaped socket 36, which essentially covers its edge surface 16b, made of thin angular or profiled sheet metal, the socket besides the leg lying adjacent to the edge surface 16b also a leg lying on the inside of the heating plate 4b and has an outer, outwardly directed diaphragm web which approximately closes the gap between the edge surface 16b and the profile web 17b of the frame 5b.
- this diaphragm web is set slightly back relative to the outside of the heating plate, or its outside lies approximately in the plane of the outside of the top web 20b.
- the socket 36 is connected to the heating plate 4b by an angular adhesive bond to the edge surface 16b and the inside of the heating plate 4b.
- an angular sealing profile 39 made of rubber or the like is arranged, which is relatively thick or so thick that it can be compressed by the path required to readjust the carrier shell 3b relative to the heating plate 4b.
- the sealing profile 39 has a profile leg lying between the profile web 17b and the edge surface 16b or the mount 36 and a profile leg lying between the web leg 18b and the inside of the heating plate 4b or the underside of the mount 36 and lies completely recessed within the frame 5b , in such a way that the anti-glare web of the socket 36 covers the first-mentioned profile leg at the top with a corresponding distance.
- spring bearings 27 which project inwards and are formed by bent-out tabs and which are directly adjacent to the inside of the outer jacket 22b of the outer shell 8b lie in the recess 26b of the inner shell 7b.
- the holder 29b is essentially U-shaped and is fastened to the inside of the cover web 20b of the frame 5b, for example by spot welding, with the outside of a leg directed against the profile web 17b.
- Said holder leg forms a tension leg 40, the free end of which, for example, is pretensioned so that it engages in an opening of the spring bearing 37 and is supported or articulated with respect to the heating plate 4b and on the outside of the carrier shell 3b or the outer shell 8b the tension spring 28 , for example by hanging in a hook bent out of the clamping leg 40.
- the holder 29b is elastic in itself in such a way that the tensioning leg 40 can execute articulated movements about an articulation axis lying in the region of its transition into the U-transverse web, which lies parallel to the heating plate 4b or parallel to the edge surface 16b thereof.
- the other end of the tension spring 28b is in one piece from the bottom 24b of the outside shell 8b bent holder 30b hooked.
- the carrier shell 3b lies with the end face of the outer edge 23b of the carrier shell 8b facing away from the bottom 24b on the inside of the web leg 18b under the force of the tension spring 28b, so that the position of the carrier shell 3b or the outer shell 8b relative to the frame 5b is fixed , however, lifting the carrier shell 8b from the frame 5b is possible at any time either against the force of the tension spring 28b or after this tension spring 28b has been removed.
- the clamping leg 40 also simultaneously pulls the socket 36 and thus the heating plate 4b against the sealing profile 39 into the frame 5b under the force of the tension spring 28b via the spring bearing 37, so that when the end face 25b of the contact edge 9b is set, the heating plate 4b compresses the Sealing profile 39 adjusts accordingly to the frame 5b.
- the spring bearing 37 is close enough to the inside of the outer shell 8b, it can also form a centering for the outer shell 8b which aligns the carrier shell 3b, this centering acting at right angles to that which is formed by engagement of the tensioning leg 40 in the carrier shell 8b.
- the embodiment according to FIG. 11 can either be designed in such a way that the heating plate 4c is fixedly arranged with respect to the frame 5c and only the carrier shell 3c is adjustably supported with sliding guides, or that, in addition to the adjustable bearing of the carrier shell 3c, the heating plate can also be supported in the opposite direction 4c similar to the embodiment of FIG. 10 is provided.
- a sliding guide one is formed, for example, by a bent sheet metal profile Guide rod 41 is provided, which is arranged at right angles to the heating plate 4c and completely penetrates the carrier shell 3c.
- the guide rod 41 adjoining the web leg 18c is located at a short distance from the outer jacket 22c of the outer shell 8c and penetrates a guide channel of the inner shell 7c, which is closely matched to it with the necessary play of movement, and the bottom 24c of the outer shell 8c, in such a way that it is immediately below the bottom 24c a spring bearing 37c for a tension spring, not shown, which is supported on the underside of the bottom 24c, such as a leaf spring. If only the carrier shell 3c is adjustably supported, the end of the guide rod 41 which is located at the heating plate 4c is fixed in position in both directions of its longitudinal extension relative to the frame 5c or the heating plate 4c.
- This end of the guide rod 41 can, for example, be angled toward a flange leg 42 directed towards the center of the heating plate 4c, which is fixed to the inside of the heating plate 4c or the associated leg of the socket 36c by spot welding or the like, so that the guide rod 41 is opposite the frame 5c cannot be moved inwards.
- the guide rod 4i rests with a shoulder of its associated end region on the inside of the web leg 18c.
- the outer edge 23c of the carrier shell 3c overlaps the profile web 17c with bearing play, so that the carrier shell 3c can be adjusted against the contact of the inner shell 7c on the heating plate 4c.
- a tension spring supported against the frame 5c expediently acts on the guide rod 41, which can be arranged, for example, in the recess 26c, in which case the tensioning spring, which is supported on the carrier shell 8c, can in turn be adjusted against the heating plate 4c. It is also conceivable to provide a tension spring so that it acts both for the readjustment of the heating plate 4c and for the readjustment of the carrier shell 3c.
- the guide rod 41d is formed by a solid rod, for example a screw spindle, this solid rod, with its end face 42d lying near the heating plate 4d, being fastened to the inner leg of the holder 36d by welding, gluing, riveting, thread engagement or the like.
- the outer edge 23d of the outer shell 8d is in turn supported on the web leg 18d, so that the heating plate 4d is drawn under the force of tension springs 28d into the frame 5d or against the sealing profile 39d.
- the tension spring 28d is a helical compression spring surrounding the guide rod 41d, which is supported on the one hand on the bottom 24d of the outer shell 8d and on the other hand on a counter-holder 29d provided on the guide rod 41d, which is formed by a nut to form an actuator with which the pretensioning is made the tension spring 28d can be adjusted.
- the holder 36e has no diaphragm web, since it only has an approximately parallel to the edge surface 16e of the heating plate 4e and between the outside and the inside of the heater plate 4e ending outer leg. 10 to 12, the joint between the edge surface 16e and the profile web 17e of the frame 5e is closed with a cover seal 43 made of silicone or the like, which adjoins the edge surface 16e and the associated leg end of the holder 36e is complete covers. Due to the design described, the heating plate can be easily replaced at any time, and in particular the assembly is also considerably simplified.
- the outer edge 23 can be provided with, for example, a U-shaped, attached, at least partially elastic profile, for example a sealing profile, an impact protection profile or the like.
- This profile forms, for example, a sliding seal with respect to the profile web 17 and / or a shock protection with respect to the cover web 19, so that the sliding guide is sealed and even if the heating plate 4 breaks, no liquid can penetrate into the hearth through the sliding guide. This also provides tolerance compensation.
- the edge 9 can also be formed by a component made of a higher quality, for example firmer material, which is separate from the remaining inner shell 7.
- the design according to the invention is particularly suitable for providing a non-translucent plate made of a metallic material, such as a cast material, in particular cast steel, as the heating plate 4f.
- Such plates have a much greater breaking strength than glass ceramic plates, so that they are particularly suitable for rough operation in canteen kitchens.
- this plate can be grounded in a simple manner and it also enables an increase in performance or an increase in the maximum operating temperature, and also without the risk of damage, the radiant heating resistors l0f, llf can be placed much closer to the heating plate 4f than in the case of a glass ceramic plate, so that an extremely flat design results because the outer edge of the carrier shell 3f can also be chosen lower.
- Fig. 14 Such an embodiment is shown in Fig. 14, in which the same reference numerals are used for corresponding parts as in the other figures, but with the index "f".
- profiles l7f are provided on the inside of the heating plate 4f for guiding and if these profiles l7f are formed in one piece with the heating plate 4f.
- the profiles 17f are expediently web-shaped or rib-shaped and have flanks which are inclined in a wedge-shaped manner to their longitudinal edges, for example about a degree of flank angle, so that they can be produced in a simple manner in one casting with the remaining heating plate 4f.
- the profiles l7f guide the radiant heaters lf on the outer sides of their outer edges 23f, only one common profile web being provided for radiant heaters lf or outer edges lying directly adjacent to one another, although separate, adjacent profiles l7f are also conceivable in such an area.
- the edge surfaces of the outer edges 23f are at a distance from the contact surface of the heating plate 4f for the end faces 25f of the inner shell 7f, so that under the tension with which the end faces 25f bear against the heating plate 4f, these end faces 25f only yield relatively about them can adjust small dimensions.
- a single fastening member in the form of, for example, a tensile fastening bolt 4lf can be provided, which is expediently in the center of the Carrier shell 3f lies and its bottom completely penetrates so that it can be supported on the outside of the bottom 24f of the outer shell 8f with a head, a nut or the like.
- At least one spacer for example surrounding the bolt 4lf, can be provided between the inside of the bottom of the inner shell 7f and the inside of the heating plate 4f, which also advantageously consists of insulating material and can also be formed in one piece with the associated position of the inner shell 7f.
- the spring tension for the possibly necessary slight self-adjustment of the carrier shell 3f against the heating plate 4f can be provided in this case by an internal bracing of the carrier shell 3f, so that no separate spring element is required.
- the fastening bolt 4lf is a screw bolt which, with its threaded shaft, is screwed directly into a threaded bore on the inside of the heating plate 4f which is flat between the profiles 17f.
- the fastening bolt 4lf can also be a stud bolt with a nut screwed onto the outside of the carrier shell 3f. B. is fixed by welding to the inside of the heating plate 4f, so that it does not experience a cross-sectional weakening.
- the threaded bore can be provided in a projection projecting in one piece over the inside of the heating plate 4f, which can also form the spacer.
- the profiling provided on the edge of the heating plate 4f for the engagement of the outer panel can also be formed in one piece with the heating plate 4f in the illustrated embodiment, for which purpose the heating plate 4f has corresponding longitudinal grooves 20f close to its edge surfaces l6f on the inside.
- a corresponding, for example rib-shaped extension on the inside of the heater could also engage for the leg of the frame 5f which engages in the inside of the heating plate 4f and is directed against the inside of the heating plate 4f plate 4f may be provided, which engages approximately up to the angle of the leg in the inside.
- the frame 5f which engages directly in the heating plate 4f can be formed in one piece with the outer panel or with the gutter 12f, so that no separate frame parts are required for this.
- An advantageous stiffening of the heating plate 4f can also be achieved by means of the ribs or the profiles l7f, which expediently merge into one another at intersections without gaps and thereby delimit, for example, a rectangular or square receiving field for the associated radiant heater lf, so that these are relatively can be formed thin, and has a low weight and a low heat capacity or heat absorption.
- the outermost profile of the heating plate 4f lying adjacent to the respective edge surface l6f can either be rib-shaped, as shown on the left in Fig. L4, or, as shown on the right in Fig. L4, be wider in relation to its height in such a way that it is almost as far as the receiving profile for the frame 5f is enough.
- the radiant heating elements 10f, 11f are expediently arranged in such a way that a central field, not occupied by heating resistors, remains whose width is greater than the ring width of the heated field surrounding it in a ring.
- a temperature sensor for example a temperature limiter, such as a expansion rod regulator, can be arranged in such a way that the rod-shaped temperature sensor is very close to the inside of the heating plate 4f and the controller housing carrying the temperature sensor is arranged in the middle field.
- the middle field can be shielded from the heated field with a web of insulation material or the like, this web expediently extending from the inner shell 7f to the inside of the heating plate 4 and having an annular design, so that a completely closed chamber for receiving the temperature limiter is formed.
- the web can also form the spacer for supporting the central region of the carrier shell 3f with respect to the heating plate 4f.

Description
The invention relates to a radiant heater for cooking appliances or the like. According to the preamble of claim 1.
With such radiant heating units, it is important for a precise delimitation of the respective hob and to avoid thermal leaks that the at least slightly resilient or resiliently compressible contact edge of the carrier layer rests as permanently and tightly as possible on the inside of the heating plate. As a result of its material properties, however, the contact edge, particularly with increasing aging, also tends to shrink or settle, which can impair safe contact with the heating plate. A spring load has therefore already been provided for the radiant heater, by means of which the latter is pressed against the heating plate. The centering of the radiant heater against lateral movements, i.e. movements parallel to the heating plate, has proven to be problematic, however exact guidance of the radiant heater relative to a base which is usually located beneath the radiant heaters and which generally consists of trusses is difficult.
The invention has for its object to provide a radiant heating unit of the type mentioned, which can be secured and aligned very precisely against the heating plate in a simple manner.
This is achieved in a jet heating unit of the type described at the outset according to the invention by the design according to claim 1. The carrier shell can be laterally centered with the guide and can also be arranged or mounted in a resiliently adjustable or displaceable manner at right angles to the heating plate, so that an always effective sliding guide is formed. As a result, there is no need for any guidance relative to a base, that is to say that the support shell or a plurality of support shells lying next to one another can be arranged freely hanging on the underside of a hob or freely projecting outwards on the outside of an oven muffle wall, and yet the support shell can be adjusted the associated heating plate is given. This results in a substantial reduction in the overall height of the device unit comprising the radiant heater or radiators, wherein a base can be completely dispensed with.
In the case of such radiant heaters, the heating plate is generally arranged in a frame of the associated appliance unit surrounding it, this frame being able to be formed by the hob in the case of a stove and by the associated muffle wall in the case of an oven muffle. The sliding guide can, according to the invention, on the one hand, between the heating plate and this frame by means of adjustable mounting of the heating plate relative to the frame and instead or in addition to this, on the other hand, be provided between the carrier shell and the frame and finally directly between the heating plate and the carrier shell, so that various combinations of the three requirements can be achieved by optionally combining these three options using the same tension springs.
The heating resistors can be formed by encapsulated high-temperature radiators, namely lamp bulbs or preferably by bare heating filaments or the like.
The radiant heating unit according to the invention is also suitable for heating an oven muffle and for similar purposes, in which case the heating plate at least partially forms a wall of the oven muffle.
The heating plate does not need to be rigidly attached directly for connection to the associated device unit, but it can be detachably fixed relative to the device unit, for example stretched against the sealing profile or only placed on the frame.
If a continuous one-piece heating plate is provided for several hotplates or radiant heaters, appropriate guides or sliding guides are expediently provided on the inside or in the heating plate, which can be fastened to the heating plate, for example by gluing, welding or the like. The sliding guide can in any case be offset inwards with respect to the edge surface of the heating plate and / or with respect to the outside of the carrier shell formed by the circumference, so that it lies completely within the layout of the heating plate, for example on the inside thereof. The associated end of the The sliding guide is then expediently fixed indirectly or directly opposite the inside of the heating plate or the holder by welding, gluing or the like.
Adjacent radiant heaters can be very close to one another if the web-shaped sliding guide engages in the outer shell on the inside, so that sliding guide parts which do not protrude freely downward and overlap the carrier shell on the outside are required. As a result, the sliding guide can also grip around the heating plate at the associated edge in an angular manner, and adjacent sliding guides of adjacent radiant heaters can be formed in a simple manner by a common frame profile which, for example, simultaneously supports the two adjacent heating plates.
The carrier shell can form a preassembled, integrated component with the heating plate or with the frame supporting the heating plate or the heating plates, which as a whole can be adjusted transversely to its plane, i.e. in the direction of insertion of the guides, for example for adjustment, without the tensioning force of the Tension springs is affected.
It is also conceivable that at least one tension spring is supported with respect to the base, preferably as a compression spring between the bottom of the outer shell and a base plate arranged on the associated side of the inner shell. With a corresponding design of the carrier shell, for example, the inner shell and the outer shell are guided such that they can be displaced relative to one another in the direction of displacement of the guide, and are spring-loaded, wherein the outer shell can also be mounted displaceably with respect to the guide in the heating plate.

Die die Auffangrinne 12 aufweisenden Rahmenteile bilden auch die aufrechten Außenblenden der Kochstelleneinheit 2.As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, several radiant heaters 1 according to the invention are generally combined to form a heating or cooking unit 2 which, for example, forms the upper part of a stove (not shown in more detail). Each radiant heater 1 has a support plate 3 arranged on the underside of a
The essentially
The
Due to the design described, a sliding
The carrier shell 3 is pretensioned against the
The
The hob can be arranged in different ways depending on the requirements. Fig. 3 shows an arrangement corresponding to FIG. 2 with four equally large, square and immediately adjacent cooking areas. Fig. 4 shows two elongated rectangular, immediately adjacent hotplates, the longer extension of which is directed in the depth direction of the stove, the length of these hotplates being approximately twice as large as their width. Fig. 5 shows a stove in which a single hob occupies the entire hob, this hob essentially is square. As shown in FIG. 6, more than two adjacent hotplates, for example three adjacent hotplates, can also be provided in at least two rows, so that there is a total of at least six square or similar hotplates located directly adjacent to one another. According to FIG. 7, three oblong rectangular hotplates lying parallel to one another and immediately adjacent to one another are provided to form the hob.
In den Fig. 8 bis 13 sind für einander entsprechende Teile jeweils die gleichen Bezugszeichen, jedoch in den Fig. 9 bis 13 mit unterschiedlichen Buchstabenindices verwendet.8 to 13 the same reference numerals are used for corresponding parts, but in FIGS. 9 to 13 with different letter indices.
As shown in FIG. 9, the
The design of the carrier shell 3a differs significantly from that according to FIG. 8 because the inner shell 7a and the outer shell 8a are displaceably guided at right angles to the heating plate 4a, while the outer shell 8a is in turn guided on the frame 5a via the sliding guides 27a. The inner shell 7a has a
As shown in FIG. 10, instead of a displaceable mounting of the
The embodiment according to FIG. To form a sliding guide, one is formed, for example, by a bent sheet metal
The
In the embodiment according to FIG. 13, the holder 36e has no diaphragm web, since it only has an approximately parallel to the
As shown in FIG. 8 on the left, the outer edge 23 can be provided with, for example, a U-shaped, attached, at least partially elastic profile, for example a sealing profile, an impact protection profile or the like. This profile forms, for example, a sliding seal with respect to the
The design according to the invention is particularly suitable for providing a non-translucent plate made of a metallic material, such as a cast material, in particular cast steel, as the
Although it is conceivable to provide grooves for guiding the respective radiant heater lf on the inside of the
The profiling provided on the edge of the
