Abstract

Eine Horizontalstranggießvorrichtung weist ein Vorratsgefäß (1) auf, an das die Horizontalstranggießkokille (5) mittels eines abdichtenden Düsensteins (3) auswechselbar angesetzt ist, wobei die Horizontal­ stranggießkokille (5) an den Düsenstein (3) angrenzend einen Längen­ abschnitt (7) eines Kokillenrohres (6) aus einem Wärme hochleitenden Werkstoff besitzt, auf den ein Kokillenrohrlängenabschnitt (8) aus die Wärme weniger hochleitendem Werkstoff anschließt, der in einem Führungsrohr (10) aus Stahl angeordnet ist, das außen von Kühlmittel umströmt ist.
Um die Eigenschaften des Führungsrohres bezüglich Formtreue, Halt­ barkeit und Wirtschaftlichkeit bei ausreichender Wärmeleitfähigkeit zu verbessern, wird vorgeschlagen, daß der Kokillenrohrlängenab­ schnitt (8) aus die Wärme weniger hochleitendem Werkstoff innerhalb eines solchen Führungsrohres (10) angeordnet ist, das aus korro­ sionsbeständigem, warmfestem Stahl mit einer Wärmeleitfähigkeit von 20 bis 40 W/m.K hergestellt ist.
