Description

The invention relates to a roll stand with bearing shaft pairs mounted in two parallel roll stands and which can be coupled on one side with drive elements for roll rings which can be pushed onto them in a seat between the two roll stands, in which the roll stand facing away from the drive elements of the support shafts with the bearings in the rolling axis direction from the other Roll stand is movable away and on the movable roll stand with the roll rings connectable and detachable holding elements are arranged, which are connected directly or indirectly to the inner ring of the respective bearing and on the outer circumference of which the roll ring can be pushed.

Roll stands of this type, e.g. B. according to EP-A 0 163 104 (published on December 4, 85), which even with larger scaffolding dimensions, such as are necessary for billet-shaped steel or other roller mills, allow the rolling rings to be replaced without one Bracing or dismantling of the entire roll stand is required. The roller stand facing away from the drive elements of the supporting shafts is moved axially in the direction of the other roller stand for the purpose of changing the rolling rings with the bearings removed from the supporting shaft pair, and the supporting shaft pair can be held and fixed in the other one-sided cantilevered cantilever position will. The holding elements which can be connected and detached to the rolling rings on the movable roller stand are connected to the inner ring of the respective bearing and consist of a sleeve onto which the rolling ring can be pushed. These bushings carrying the rolling ring can then be pushed onto the supporting shafts located in the cantilevered position in the stationary roller stand and form in the rolling stand assembled from the two rolling stands the respective supporting shaft for the rolling ring which is supported in both roller stands. In addition to the need to hold and fix the pair of support shafts in a cantilevered bearing in the stationary roll stand, this form of training has the disadvantage that the exact axial positioning of the bush, and thus that on the bush, which is very important for the adjustment of the rolling rings to the center of the rolling line seated rolling ring creates difficulties and requires a relatively large technical effort.

The invention has for its object to improve the generic design of the rolling mill so that these disadvantages and difficulties are eliminated.

The object is achieved in that in the case of a bearing shaft which is supported by two in one and in the other, with the mutually facing end faces, placed on the end faces of the rolling ring and under axial pressure with this couplable ring pieces, and the end faces of the ring pieces inclined outward have running conical surface sections. There is also the possibility of arranging the conical surface sections on intermediate rings which can be placed on ring shoulders of the ring pieces.

In the embodiment according to the invention, the rolling ring between the two ring pieces is held in a known manner centered on the axis of rotation only by the application of axial pressure and, after releasing this axial pressure, is held on the ring piece supported by the movable roll stand on the operator side and when the roll stand moves away from the drive side Roll stand transported away. This results in a precise setting option for the center of the roll and an additional security in the transmission of the torque via the two ring pieces to the end faces of the roll ring if the torque is transmitted via the outwardly inclined conical surfaces.

  • Fig. 1 eine Ausbildungsform des Walzgerüstes im Axialschnitt,
  • Fig. 3 eine weitere Ausbildungsform.
The invention is explained in more detail with reference to the exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing. The drawing shows in
  • 1 shows an embodiment of the roll stand in axial section,
  • 2 is another form of training, also in axial section similar to that of FIG. 1,
  • Fig. 3 shows another form of training.

As can be seen from FIG. 1, the ring pieces 27 and 28 are mounted in bearings 5 and 6 in bearings 5 and 6 in the stationary roll stand 1 and the roll stand 2 releasably connected thereto by plug-in screw elements 3 and 4. The ring piece 27 mounted in the stationary roll stand 1 forms a piece with the drive spindle 16. The two ring pieces 27 and 28 can be braced against each other in the axial direction by a hydraulic tension nut and detached from one another, which consists of a tie rod 17 screwed into the drive spindle 16, an annular cylinder 18, an annular piston 19 inserted therein, an annular nut 20 and an adjusting ring 21 consists.

In the position shown in the drawing, the drive shaft 16 with the ring piece 27, the rolling ring 23 and the ring piece 28 form a composite element under the clamping pressure of the hydraulic nut 18, 19, 20, 21, which acts like a one-piece roller.

The ring pieces 27 and 28 have on their end faces facing the rolling ring 23 conically outwardly inclined running surfaces 27a, 27b or 28a and 28b which can be placed on corresponding counter surfaces on the end faces of the rolling ring 23. The roller ring is held in the center by the axial tension generated by the hydraulic tension nut 17, 18, 19, 20 in the position shown.

After loosening the clamping pressure and disassembling the ring nut 20, the roller stand 2 can be moved away from the roller stand 1 in the axial direction with the roller ring 23 resting on a bush 14 seated on the ring piece 28 in the direction of the arrow P shown. Only the bearing 5 with the ring piece 27 remains in this stand and the tie rod 17 of the hydraulic nut screwed into this.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2, in contrast to the exemplary embodiment explained above, the conical surfaces 38a and 38b or 37a and 37b are arranged on intermediate rings 30 and 31, which are placed on ring shoulders 37c and 38c of the ring pieces 37 and 38. These intermediate rings form interchangeable wear parts.

Der Zylinderansatz 48a dient dabei gleichzeitig als Halteelement für den Walzring 43 beim seitlichen Ausfahren des Walzenständers 2.As can be seen from FIG. 3, in this exemplary embodiment the ring pieces 47 and 48 have cylinder extensions 47a and 48a which engage with claw coupling elements 50 with axial play. The cylinder extension 48a also serves as a holding element for the roll ring 43 when the roll stand 2 is extended laterally.
