Definitions

  • the invention relates to a mounting device for an awning extending in the longitudinal direction of its fabric shaft, preferably an articulated arm awning, which is in particular housed in a protective housing, and a bearing shell for a shaft carrying a winding material.
  • an awning has become known in which the sleeve is self-supporting and is surrounded by two pairs of holding jaws.
  • the articulated arms are articulated on the two wall brackets, each acting at a distance from the center and the respective end of the fabric shaft.
  • the sleeve is subjected to bending in its end regions (outside the two wall brackets), in particular also because the fabric shaft is mounted in the cover caps, which, when the awning is in the rest position, when the fabric is drawn in and rolled up, absorbs the weight of the fabric bale.
  • the protective box must therefore have a stiffening profile and be sufficiently thick-walled for very wide awnings. This makes the whole construction extremely heavy and difficult to handle during assembly.
  • the holding elements usually in the form of a console
  • the awning is first attached to a wall and / or ceiling.
  • the awning already assembled in the workshop to form an assembly unit, is brought into contact with the holding elements or, if the weight is too great, set down on the brackets.
  • a continuous support element in particular in the form of a mounting tube, is also provided, which is then connected to the holding elements.
  • the disadvantage is that the large awning widths - especially if it is articulated arm awnings, the articulated arms of which have to be strong enough to be able to accommodate a gust of wind on the awning and which are possibly housed in a protective housing which causes additional weight - Due to the high weight, two fitters are usually required. Since the awning lying on the floor has to be grasped from above to lift it, the fitters usually attack the support tube and the drop bar if the awning is lying on the floor with the support tube at the bottom, which is difficult when lifting the awning to overhead height the handle must be changed. In addition, a relatively thin drop bar can be bent.
  • the awning is often placed on the floor in such a way that the support tube, which is in the normal position at the bottom, is arranged at the top so that the awning can be grasped and lifted at the same time.
  • the awning with the cloth bale rests on the floor and, if necessary, is moved in this position to a more favorable installation position, whereby the cloth can become dirty and possibly even damaged.
  • the invention is based on the task of creating an assembly option by which the work is so facilitated that it can usually be carried out on the spot by just one man.
  • the awning in particular its protective housing and preferably its bearing shell, is provided with at least part of a hinge, in particular its axis-forming part, which extends in the longitudinal direction mentioned at the beginning, i.e. i. extends the longitudinal direction of the fabric shaft, or a horizontal direction transverse thereto, and with which a further hinge part can be brought into engagement on at least one support or support frame to enable one side of the awning to be lowered during assembly.
  • a hinge in particular its axis-forming part, which extends in the longitudinal direction mentioned at the beginning, i.e. i. extends the longitudinal direction of the fabric shaft, or a horizontal direction transverse thereto, and with which a further hinge part can be brought into engagement on at least one support or support frame to enable one side of the awning to be lowered during assembly.
  • a bearing shell is provided for a shaft carrying winding material, which is provided in a known manner with at least one reinforcing rib with a transverse dimension extending in the axial direction of the shaft and a longitudinal dimension running perpendicular to it, at least one of which reinforcing ribs runs along its circumferential edge with its longitudinal dimension and is pushed through by at least one bore in which a bolt for connecting the bearing shell to a support or support frame, formed by that of the mounting device according to claim 1, is to be arranged.
  • this reinforcing rib running along the approximately straight circumferential edge is thereby traversed by the bore either parallel to the fabric shaft or in the direction of the longitudinal extension of the rib, which is then able to accommodate a bolt serving as an axis-forming part of a hinge.
  • bolt is to be understood in the broadest sense, since it can be both a full and a hollow socket bolt with or without thread, a connecting pin or the like.
  • the bore and thus the reinforcing rib are interrupted by at least one, preferably at least three, recesses provided in the peripheral edge.
  • a bolt shank that penetrates the bore and is exposed in the recesses therefore offers the possibility of engaging an assembly aid there, for example a hinge.
  • sleeves that are aligned with the bore can be inserted into the recesses, which are supported by brackets on a bracket, which may be common, which is part of a supporting or supporting frame, such as a handle, slide or pulley, which serves as an assembly aid.
  • the position of the bolt passing through the bore and possibly the sleeves is expediently secured — preferably by interlocking threads, but otherwise also by a grub screw, a split pin or the like.
  • the bearing shells can expediently also have a connecting element formed from reinforcing ribs for supporting a supporting element which extends over the width of the awning, for. B. a socket adapted to the supporting tube outline.
  • the connecting element can also engage in a cavity of the support tube, i. H. may be designed as a plug pin.
  • a mounting tube or a mounting rail can be used as the support element, or at least part of the cassette-like protective housing is designed to be load-bearing. Then the articulated arms of the awning or their drop arms and / or brackets for fastening ar can also be on the support element. Touch the wall and / or ceiling - if necessary, move them.
  • the bearing is expediently formed as a square recess or - pin, in the hub of the output gear of the gear, in which a square pin or such a recess arranged at the shaft end in a rotationally fixed manner intervenes. If, instead, the output gear is fixed at the end of the shaft on the transmission side, space is saved on the transmission side in the longitudinal direction of the cloth shaft. B. between the reveals of a wall opening, may be important. However, the toothing of the driven gear wheel can also be formed directly on the support tube.
  • bearing shell is not sufficient to accommodate the various elements, one or more of them, e.g. B. one of the gears mentioned, at least be attached to the bearing shell, for. B. by the gear is arranged in a connected to the bearing shell, preferably consisting of two half-shells, one of which is molded onto the bearing shell.
  • Fig. 1 the left end of the indicated, torn off protective box 1a for an awning 1 is shown.
  • the protective box 1a On the face side, the protective box 1a is closed off by a cover cap, which simultaneously serves as a (left) bearing shell 8a for a cloth shaft 24.
  • the right bearing shell is not shown here, but will be designated 8b later (see FIG. 3).
  • the rear wall of the protective box continuously has a bulge which is adapted to the cross-sectional contour of the fabric shaft 24, that is to say in the form of a circular segment in cross section, but the protective box 1 a can of course also have other cross-sectional shapes, be formed in one piece, or even be omitted in favor of an open construction.
  • awning fabric 5 is attached to the rotatably mounted fabric shaft 24, the other end to a drop profile 6.
  • Articulated arms 35 (FIG. 3) engage in a manner known per se on the one hand on the drop profile 6 and on the other hand each via a tiltable, not shown swivel joint on a mounting tube 34 forming the supporting structure within the protective box 1 a.
  • the cloth shaft 24 can be actuated by means of an eyelet 9 via a gear 14 (FIG. 2) which is installed in the bearing shell 8a and is arranged in a housing consisting of two half-shells 49a, 50a (FIG. 3A). From Fig. 3A it can be seen that an analogous design is also provided on the bearing shell 8b, if desired the gear mechanism within the housing 49b, 50b can be omitted if the awning should only be operable from one side thereof.
  • One half-shell 49a or 49b is formed in the interior of the respective bearing shell 8a or 8b, the other half-shell 50a or 50b is connected to the first one by screws 4. In the case of FIG.
  • the output axis of the transmission 14 also serves as a bearing for one end of the cloth shaft, similarly to the actuating shaft 15 ′ according to FIG. 2A.
  • the output shaft according to FIG. 2 has an axial square pin 7, into which a square recess 7 '(FIGS. 1, 3) engages at the end of the fabric shaft 24.
  • the cloth shaft 24 with its gear-side end according to FIG. 3A can be mounted independently of the gear 14 in a separate bearing 51a or 51b arranged in at least one of the two bearing shells 8a and / or 8b, expediently both bearing shells 8a, 8b are identical in mirror image.
  • each bearing shell 8a and 8b along the upper circumferential edge 3a
  • three recesses 11b along the lower circumferential edge 3b for the detachable connection of an assembly aid, such as the devices 25 and 26, respectively; however, at least one or more than three recesses can also be provided only at the bottom or only at the top.
  • the side walls of the recesses 11 a, 11 are lower Boreholes 12a, 12b, which are directed to the axis of the fabric shaft and extend in the longitudinal direction of a straight reinforcing rib 2, are provided.
  • the longitudinal wall of each recess 11a, 11 each has a transverse bore 12'a, 12'b which is parallel to the axis of the fabric shaft.
  • Reinforcing ribs 2, 13, 21, 22 are provided on the inside in the bearing shell 8a. Of these, the ribs 13 form a bearing seat for the mounting tube 34. 10 is an actuating eye for a further device, for. B. also referred to a tilt adjustment device.
  • the swivel joints (not shown) first tilt in the usual manner under the weight of the articulated arms 35 with the drop profile 6 into the intended inclination as soon as only the cloth 5 is unwound by a sufficient amount.
  • the tilt angle is normally by means of a tilt limiter (not shown) on each joint of an articulated arm, e.g. B. by means of the eyelet 10, adjustable, namely together via a parallel to the cloth shaft 24 adjusting shaft 15 '(Fig. 2, 2A).
  • the details of this mechanism can be found, for example, in FIG. 2A.
