In the case of a large-capacity transport bag for bulk material, the bag wall (1) is formed with four blanks (3, 4) of a synthetic fiber fabric that form the side walls and are connected to one another by corner seams (5) designed as zigzag seams.
Description
The invention relates to a large-capacity transport bag for bulk goods of the type specified by the preamble of
In a transport bag of this type known from DE-U-78 30 440, the bag wall is formed from a single fabric blank which is provided along two cut edges running in the warp or weft direction with a connecting seam arranged in the middle of a side wall. The connecting seam, like the corner seams, which thus subdivide the fabric cut into the four parallel side walls of the bag wall, is designed as a double stitch seam executed on a warping machine with a sewing passage. The transport bags of this design, which are completed with a separately sewn-on bottom, have a filling volume of about 1 m 3 for a payload of at least about one ton and are provided with a safety factor required for their permissible use with regard to the so-called burst pressure, which is used to determine this Safety factor relevant drop test with a free fall height of 120 cm shows no damage to the bags filled with a payload up to a maximum of about 1250 kg.
From DE-U-83 31 441.5 a generic transport bag is known, in which the bag wall is also formed from a single fabric blank, which at the same time makes it possible to dispense with special corner seams along two cut edges with a zigzag seam a normal single-needle sewing machine is provided. A separate bottom is also sewn to the bag wall by means of an overcast seam, and the two ends of U-shaped carrying loops are each sewn together with an underlying and / or overlapping fabric strip by means of a further zigzag seam. The transport bags of this design, with the advantage of being more cost-effective to manufacture, have a safety factor with regard to the burst pressure which, when the same conditions as the relevant drop test are met, corresponds to the safety factor of a transport bag, the bag wall of which has a round fabric of comparable strength that is seamlessly made from correspondingly strong and denser threads is formed.
The invention characterized by the claims solves the problem of providing a large-capacity transport bag for bulk goods of the type specified, which, while maintaining an at least equal safety factor with regard to the bursting pressure under the conditions of the relevant drop test, also receives a more favorable safety factor with regard to the forces, which takes priority act in the vertical direction on the bag wall when the transport bag for its filling and also for its transport is attached to the hook of a load crane or to the tines of the fork of a forklift using the carrying straps.
The advantages that can be achieved with the transport bag according to the invention are essentially that, when using the same synthetic fiber fabric with a tensile strength of at least about 197 N / cm 2 for the four fabric blanks, it is now about six times larger compared to the generic and also the generic bags Safety factor is primarily obtained with regard to the forces which act on the bag wall when the bag is filled with a payload of at least one ton and also each time the bag filled with this payload is transported in the vertical direction. This favorable increase in the safety factor is obtained at the same time compared to the burst pressure under the conditions of the drop test relevant for this.
- FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of the transport bag,
- Figure 2a is a plan view of a partial length of a corner seam of the transport bag according to Figure 1 and
- Figure 2b is a sectional view of the corner seam along the line IIb-IIb in Figure 2a.
The transport bag provided for filling with a bulk material of generally at least one ton of payload has a
Each
The transport bag then also has a
