- means for preparing the web start for glueing a length of adhesive tape (33) on the second web (6) on standby, characterised in that:
- the means for preparing the web start comprise a supporting device (30, 300) for preparation of the start of the web, provided with markings (34, 35, 340, 350) spaced apart from one another by a particular length L, on which the user may sever and glue an adhesive tape (33) on to the second web (6) in such a way that the prepared adhesive tape has an uncovered adhesive surface (330) of length L facing towards the first web (5),
- the length L is equal to the distance (I) between the cutting means (21, 22) and the contact area (18) of the rollers,
- in the standby position, whilst the first roller holds the first leading end of the adhesive tape (33) within its contact area (18), the second end of the free adhesive surface (330) is situated within the cutting area (I-I) of the cutting means.
2. Unwinder according to claim 1, characterised in that it comprises a device (28, 29) for detecting the end of the first web, the signal from which causes the actuation of the blocking means (26) of the first web and the mutual approach of the rollers (15, 16), then the severing of the first web (5) when the rollers are in contact, and finally the spreading apart of the rollers (15,16) at the end of the passage of the adhesive tape.

Unwinder according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the preparation device (30) comprises means for fitting a single-sided adhesive tape on the end of the second web (6), the adhesive surface being turned towards the first web (5), and the adhesive tape extending the end of the second web over a length (L) equal to the distance (I) between the contact area (18) of the rollers and the cutting area (I-I), so that after mutual approach of the rollers and severing of the end of the first web (5), the webs are joined end to end by being connected by the adhesive tape (33).

Unwinder according to claim 3, characterised in that the web start preparation device (30) comprises a pivoting support (31) intended to receive the adhesive tape (33) and the leading end of the second web, the support (31) comprising first markings (35) defining the required length of adhesive tape (33), and second markings (34) defining the relative position of the web end and of the tape, the support (31) being pivotable between a preparation position in which it is spaced apart from the rollers to render its surface accessible, and a position of application in which is presses the adhesive tape (33) against a pressure roller (16).

Unwinder according to claim 5, characterised in that the preparation device (300) comprises a support (310) forming a receiver of a length (L) equal to the distance (I) between the contact area (18) of the rollers and the cutting area, allowing the cutting of the web and of the tape along its leading edge (340), the support (310) comprising suction holes connected to the pneumatic device.
7. Unwinder according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the blocking means are grippers (26, 27) placed between the cutting means and the spools (3, 4), ensuring the immobilisation of the webs at a precise and reproducible position.
8. Unwinder according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that it comprises two deflecting rollers (40, 41 ) respectively in upstream proximity to the pressure rollers (15, 16) and with a symmetrical spacing establishing two oblique web positions subtending an acute angle (A).
9. Unwinder according to claim 8, characterised in that the cutting means (21, 22) are mutually opposed blades made to bear against an anvil (23) situated within the angle (A) of the oblique web portions and are intended to cut the webs along a common cutting plane (I-I) close to the contact area (18) of the rollers.
