Claims (11)

  1. Procédé pour fermer un récipient en une matière métallique, destiné à recevoir un matériau radioactif, notamment un matériau radioactif logé dans un récipient intérieur (2), selon lequel un couvercle de fermeture est introduit au moins partiellement dans une ouverture de réception frontale d'un corps de base de récipient (1), en étant guidé radialement, et selon lequel le couvercle de fermeture est maintenu appliqué contre une surface d'appui (5) du corps de base du récipient réalisée dans la zone de l'ouverture de réception frontale, par une force d'application prédéfinie sensiblement supérieure au poids du couvercle de fermeture, et dans cette position est soudé au corps de base du récipient, caractérisé en ce que l'on utilise un couvercle de fermeture (9;21;22;25) bombé en forme de coupole au moins sur sa face intérieure (13) et que l'on fait agir la force d'application prédéfinie entre une surface d'application (10) s'étendant radialement, du couvercle de fermeture (9;21;22;25), et une surface d'appui (5) s'étendant radialement, du corps de base de récipient (1).
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la force d'application (K) est établie à l'aide d'un dispositif de presse agissant de l'extérieur sur le couvercle (9;25), et en ce que le dispositif de presse est retiré après le soudage.
  3. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la force d'application est établie par un engagement par complémentarité de formes entre le couvercle de fermeture (9;21;22) et le corps de base du récipient (1), de préférence au moyen d'un engrènement de filetages entre un filetage extérieur (12) du couvercle de fermeture et un filetage intérieur (7) du corps de base de récipient (1).
  4. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le couvercle de fermeture (25) est emmanché par frettage dans l'ouverture frontale du corps de base de récipient (1) en lui appliquant la force d'application (K) exercée par un dispositif de presse, la force d'application étant maintenue jusqu'à ce que, après égalisation de la température, le couvercle soit maintenu de façon non déplaçable dans le corps de base du récipient par un emmanchement de frettage.
  5. Récipient en une matière métallique adapté à la mise en oeuvre du procédé selon les revendications 1 à 4, lequel comporte un corps de base de récipient (1) comprenant une ouverture de réception frontale ainsi qu'une surface d'appui (5) réalisée dans la zone de l'ouverture de réception frontale (1c), et un couvercle de fermeture guidé radialement, le couvercle de fermeture étant soudé sur l'ouverture de réception frontale du corps de base du récipient et maintenu en appui, sous l'effet d'une force d'application prédéfinie, contre la surface d'appui du corps de base du récipient, caractérisé en ce que le couvercle de fermeture (9;21;22;25) est réalisé de façon à être bombé à la manière d'une coupole tout au moins sur sa face intérieure (13), et est pourvu d'une surface d'application (10) qui s'étend radialement et qui peut être appliquée sur la surface d'appui (5) s'étendant radialement.
  6. Récipient selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que le couvercle de fermeture (9;21;22) est pourvu d'un filetage extérieur (12) qui coopère avec un filetage intérieur (7) réalisé dans la zone de l'ouverture de réception frontale (1c).
  7. Récipient selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que le couvercle (25) est pourvu d'une surface extérieure d'emmanchement par frettage (26) qui coopère par emmanchement de frettage avec une surface intérieure d'emmanchement par frettage (24) prévue dans la zone de l'ouverture de réception frontale (1c).
  8. Récipient selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce qu'une soudure de diffusion (D) est réalisée entre les surfaces d'emmanchement par frettage (24,26).
  9. Récipient selon l'une des revendications 5 à 8, caractérisé en ce que le couvercle (9) est également bombé à la manière d'une coupole sur une face extérieure (14).
  10. Récipient selon la revendication 9, caractérisé en ce que le couvercle (9) est pourvu sur sa face extérieure (14) bombée à la manière d'une coupole, d'une embase (15) de forme annulaire, dont le diamètre extérieur est adapté au diamètre intérieur de l'ouverture de réception frontale (1c), au niveau de l'extrémité libre de celle-ci.
  11. Récipient selon l'une des revendications 5 à 8, caractérisé en ce que le couvercle (21,22) est pourvu d'un flasque périphérique (21a;23a) qui s'applique et/ou s'appuie sur une surface annulaire correspondante du corps de base de récipient (1).
