Abstract

A fibre blend which contains hard textile waste is prepared for open-end spinning on a roller-and-clearer card and a subsequent flat card. According to the invention, the roller-and-clearer card is connected to the flat card via a storage system. Description

Es ist allgemein üblich, durch Reißen von textilen Flächengebilden und Fäden gewonnene Abfälle einem Trägermaterial aus Natur- oder Chemiefasern zuzumischen. Eine Verarbeitung solcher Abfälle, die in der Regel noch Fäden und anderes hartes Fasermaterial enthalten, erfolgte bisher auf Walzenkrempeln, auf die ohme zusätzliche Streckpassage Selfaktoren oder Streichgarnringspinnmaschinen folgen. In dem von der Walzenkrempel gelieferten Faserband bzw. Vorgarn liegen die Fasern jedoch noch zu wirr durcheinander, weshalb es als Vorlage für eine Offenend-Spinnmaschine, beispielsweise eine Rotorspinnmaschine, nicht geeignet ist. Ein vorlagefähiges Faserband liefert dagegen die Deckelkarde, jedoch ist diese wiederum nicht in der Lage, das in der Mischung vorhandene harte Abfallmaterial aufzulösen.
